We really enjoyed our stay at this condo at the Whaler, Such an amazing spot, especially as a corner unit, we loved have both doors cracked for excellent air flow, not to mention the view of the water AND the mountains. Added bonus was the blow up air mattress so our two (grown) "kids" had plenty of room, along with the pull out couch. We also loved having use of the Tommy Bahama chairs, another nice surprise. Really helpful having two full bathrooms. We also appreciated the ceiling fan in the living room and the extra fan in the bedroom. We would happily stay here again, very sad to leave this slice of paradise!

Nice corner unit with great views, it had a drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig coffee maker - no can opener. Overall a great unit

Amazing Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the view was outstanding. We ended up deciding to get food to go just so we could eat on the balcony. Location is excellent!

We loved it! Wonderful view of beach and mountains. Staff was friendly. Everything we needed for a week’s stay. Will be coming back!

Spectacular view condo

We had a great experience in this unit, the views are spectacular of Molokai, Kapalua and the west Maui Mountains. Great amenities, the people are wonderful and the beach is gorgeous. Great location next to Whalers Village and the west side of Maui in general.

Great views and in the center of Kaanapali

This unit is a good value for double sided views of the west Maui mountains and the ocean/Black Rock. It's right in the middle of Kaanapali Beach with easy access to shops, restaurants, and a great walking path. The condo is equipped with everything you'd need for a week's vacation like we had.

Incredible view. Furniture could use an update carpet needed cleaning and hot water was an issue that was reported to the maintenance people. Had a wonderful time. Great condo

Maui

Great location beautiful views. Kitchen well equipped. BUT linens are disgusting. This rental doesn’t include any kind of housekeeping.

Whaler 1124 was fantastic

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so impressed with the Whaler 1124 furnishings, comforts, and views. The only surprises were good ones, and we had a fun time on the property and in the restaurants, shops and ocean.

Great spot for maui

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved this place and location. Had everything we needed and great views. Would stay again. Recommend that a new mattress be but based for the king as it is sagging and the ac unit from next door is notable but everything else is just amazing!

Paradise

One of the nicest condominiums we have ever stayed at. Very clean well appointed has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Bed is comfortable. Two bathrooms are a huge bonus, and the views are out of this world. There is work going on the outside of building one, but don’t let that stop you. It didn’t bother us at all. I would recommend this property to anybody going to Maui specifically kind of Holly Beach and we will be returning.

Loved the location

We always stay at the Whaler. It is a perfect location on Kaanapalii. The condo was nice. Very clean and well kept. The property management team was very receptive . They fixed a problem in the shower the next day. However check in was a hassle. The room wasn’t ready at 3:00 pm as promised. Staff at the property was indifferent. As many times I have stayed at the Whaler checking in was the worst.

Amazing location. Fine condo.

We love the location of The Whaler. The views are amazing. You can walk to snorkeling, dining, surfing, etc. The condo itself was fine. The beds felt outdated. The sofa sleeper was very bumpy. The oven didn’t work. There is no laundry in the unit. The internet was down. Housekeeping said it would charge extra for an extra set of sheets for a blow up mattress that was in the unit. We’ve stayed in the Whaler before in better units with better management.

Gorgeous views, great location.

I stayed here for 6 nights with my two teenage daughters and really enjoyed the unit. What I loved about it the most was the huge wrap around balcony offering views of the ocean as well as the mountains. The unit was quite spacious and the 2 bathrooms worked out great! This was my 7th trip to Maui and I've stayed at various hotels and condos. The location is great because it's walking distance to many restaurants and the beach is great for swimming. This property is ideal for families since it feels safe and is fairly quiet. When we visit Maui we rarely hang out by the pools since there is so much natural beauty to see, and we prefer to swim in the ocean. We didn't use the pool area but it seemed nice, but not elaborate like some of the fancier resorts. The unit was well equipped and the owners were nice enough to leave boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas in the closet for our use. I could have stayed another week here!!
