Maple Valley Hummingbird Studio

Welcome to our one-bedroom apartment located in the heart of Maple Valley. This small but functional suite is a brand new addition to the house with a separate entry and complete privacy.
Newly built kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom with queen size bed, smart TV, and walk-in closet. Enjoy morning coffee watching hummingbirds or an evening glass of wine on your illuminated patio.

Enjoy forest living while being close to Maple Valley, I-90, and many hiking/biking trails and outdoor activities.

The property is on the septic, we installed Eco Grindinding Toilet, it makes a funny noice.

Our studio is on the back of the garage. Look for a yellow fence with a hummingbird sign on the gate.
There is a key box on the door. I'll send you a code prior to your arrival.

We are pet friendly but the place is small and is suitable for one small/medium dog only. We have a $30 pet fee. Please ask if you have more questions.
Directions:
275th Ave SE is a small private road off of Issaquah - Ravensdale RD (or Landsburg Rd SE if you are coming from Maple Valley). There is a big sign "Private Barn Encanto Valley Farm" at the corner.
Follow the road, passing a barn and then a green hedge on your left. The property is on the left past the green hedge. Park near the yellow fence. The main house is occupied by a tenant, and the Studio is behind a carport gate with the hummingbird sign.

Great Stay

Private, secure location... The perfect retreat to get away from the busy city (but are still very close to the town of Maple Valley in case you need a grocery store etc.) 5/5 highly recommend

Lovely Stay

This was our second stay at the Hummingbird studio. We have a small dog and love that there is a gated fenced area for us to play with him and throw balls. The studio unit is cute, cozy and perfect for a short stay. Thank you!Deb and Alan

A cozy hideaway surrounded by lush green trees and bushes. The decorations and theme make it a fun place to be. The place was well kept and clean.

NHRA Racing Event

Very nice, quiet, and personal place to stay. No one stomping on floors or banging on the walls to disturb you. The place was so cute and welcoming. Definitely would stay again!

Very cute and clean

This place was beautiful and simple. It’s very clean overall. Yard is pretty nice if you have a dog with you or need a place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. This place was way better than any motel for the price.

Great Pet Friendly Location

We had a wonderful 4 night trip at this location. Very private, quiet, close to Maple Valley & great pet friendly set up. Plenty of room for the two of us & our dog. Love the covered patio & small fenced in green area for the dog. We will definitely be returning anytime that we have our dog with us on a trip to visit family in MV.

Apartment should’ve been warmed up before our arrival. Had to kill a couple bugs and wipe a few cobwebs before I was comfortable staying here. Although the grinder was annoying, we had been warned about it in advance, so that’s OK. But the shower clogged the morning we were leaving and the toilet backed up and we had to do some Maintenance.

Lovely and private!

We were so happy to find this comfortable apartment in Hobart not far from our relatives while in town visiting. You’ll find everything you need. If it’s a cold and rainy night, there’s even a portable radiator in the kitchen closet that will get you toasty warm. The bed is super comfy, so you’re sure to have sweet dreams!

Quiet Get Away

The Hummingbird Studio was modern and had everything I needed. I did not cook but the kitchen was well stocked. There was ample parking during the week. However, a wedding party arrived on Saturday staying in the attached house taking the parking spot for the studio, all the remaining spots and cars were parked in the middle of the driveway as well.

We spent four nights at the Hummingbird Studio in mid-June. The unit is super cute and the outdoor patio and yard was wonderful, as we were traveling with our pooch. I love the nature setting, and all the birds that would come to eat off the bird feeder. It is indeed a lovely here.The studio is spacious, well-equipped and clean. Communication was easy with the host, and we were only four miles from our dear friends in Maple Valley and many amenities.There are three things that renters should be aware of. 1. The grinding toilet is not "a little noisy." It's a lot noisy. It grinds when you flush the toilet, run the faucets in bathroom and kitchen, and also when you are showering. It would grind about every 40 seconds while showering. If you're a person who gets up early while your partner is still sleeping, you can't flush or shower without waking the other person. 2. While AC is not usually required in these parts, it was on the warmer side when we were in town. We were grateful for the window fan/AC unit, but it was quite loud too. We had to remove the large hose to the window when we were leaving the unit in order to lock window.3. There's a weird smell in the unit. Could be the septic? We chose to cover the shower drain, and to keep the bathroom door closed with the fan on, and it helped minimize the smell. We enjoyed our stay, despite the aforementioned points. Giving this rental 4 stars, but its more like a 3.5.

The property owner was out of the country, so dealing with a wi-fi issue was slow at first. But her agent got someone out after two days and we were graciously offered some compensation. The toilet is loud, but works fine. There is a Keurig coffee maker and a pot maker if desired. Having popcorn and popper onsite was nice. I didn’t use the stove.The bed is comfy, the assortment of cooking/service ware is good. Sitting on the patio with all the birds was very pleasant. Having a broom in the coat closet and a folding suitcase rack in the bedroom closet would be nice additions, but really there is everything you need.
