Great value for a convenient location to access North Fork beaches, farm stands, and wineries. We needed a pet-friendly accommodation and the fenced yard here was great.

The property was convenient for what we needed. The neighborhood was nice and we felt safe during our stay! The property is located in the basement of the host’s house so you can hear them walking above and their dog barking throughout the evening/night. Also, I found that the bedroom, kitchen, and living room were clean - but the bathroom was not. Nothing we couldn’t live with for a couple days, but just something to consider! There is a window AC in the bedroom and you are in a basement so the rooms are cool, which is a must in the summer. The fenced yard was also great, especially since we were traveling with our dog.

Thanks again for choosing my place for your stay. I do personally clean the apartment so I know the bathroom was cleaned. You may be confused because it is not new and grout is stained. It is a downstairs apartment so it is normal to hear a bit of life from upstairs. Also I don’t know about any barking. Strange because I don’t own a dog!

Tammy’s home was wonderful! Has everything you would need. From dish soaps, napkins , utensils , pots pans, extra space heaters , extra pillows and blankets! Super cozy and she was more than accommodating to any of our questions/needs! Perfect stay with everything at arms reach. Better than a hotel!

Tammy was a lovely host. She provided very detailed instructions on how to get to the Vrbo, parking location, and access in advance. Vrbo was just as pictured too!

Great stay

I stayed with my wife and two kids. We were in town for my son’s baseball tournament. Host is quick to respond and the listing is accurate. Yard is private and was a nice addition.

Apartment was clean and quiet. It was very handy to the East Winds wedding venue. Owner's communication was excellent; she replied very promptly to messages. We didn't use the kitchen much, but it appeared to be well-appointed. We would rent from this owner again.

Convenient and Quiet

I stayed here with another adult and my dog while visiting family in the area. It suited our needs and the fenced yard was wonderful for my dog. The bed was comfortable and we didn't have any issues or needs. The apartment was quiet and the parking was convenient.Only slight challenge was the AC. It is a basement apartment so you have to reach up to get to the AC controls. Totally manageable unless you are on the shorter side.

Exactly what we needed

We stayed there for 3 nights. The property inside was a little dark as is it located in the basement. However that was not a big deal. It looked new and clean. One big positive was the large yard we had access to. The location was great and we were 15mins away from everywhere we needed to be. The host Tammy was very responsive and provided great directions. I would recommend this place and would stay there again. Can fit 4 people comfortably, 2 in queen and 2 on pull out couch. Thumbs up from us!

Loved our stay

This apartment was a great stay. We wanted to be close to some friends that live in Long Island. The space was perfect for my 9 month old, my husband and myself. In our first night, we had an issue with the toilet and Tammy came to our rescue immediately. Communication with her was so easy and although it was a brief inconvenience, having a super attentive host made a huge difference. She fixed the issue herself!!! The rest of the stay was exceptional. We were so grateful and the little hiccup in our stay didn’t sully our experience because of Tammy’s quick action.

I was first surprised that it was a basement unit. It’s advertised as a “downstairs apartment” but it is the basement level. Important to know because unfortunately it has the musty smell of that space. The unit was spacious but because it was a basement the smell of mold and in the bedroom a stronger cat urine smell was noticeable. Also the upstairs living space was clearly in use as the running and footsteps were loud. In the early morning the sprinklers bang off the ac unit which was hard to ignore. Tammy was terrific as a host and even secured an iron for me. But Since I travel on business I personally needed a space that accommodates more to my needs. I would not recommend if you are looking for a sanctuary after a long day.

I was shocked to read this. I usually get 5 star reviews and no complaints. It is a downstairs apartment as noted and most guest know that means someone may be upstairs. Its normal for AC and Sprinklers to make sounds but if it disturbed you, I would have gladly shut it off. And the apartment is very clean and no mold or urine but sensitivity varies from person to person. I suggest you not rent from a place that also allows pets and no downstairs apartments, no ac and no sprinklers.

Quiet peaceful house setting. Felt like home away from home. Driveway was a little tricky so look for the white post as told in the check-in instructions. Wish I could have stayed longer
