Lake home on quiet recreational lake with hot tub. Close to "Up North" amenities

With 3+ acres on the lake there is lots to do and explore. Bring up your bikes and hit the Cuyuna trails, explore Paul Bunyan Land, take the kayak out on the lake, swim off the dock, relax on the deck, bring your boat and go fishing-the options are endless. Our home offers 3 bedrooms, a full bath and laundry on the lower level. Upstairs is a large open kitchen/dining/living room with a 1/2 bath. The french doors lead from the living room to the oversized deck and grilling area. Take the walkway off the deck to the steps and head down to the lake. Enjoy swimming off the brand new 30' dock with 12'x10' patio (little to no weeds!), access to our double kayak, paddle board and lily pad available to use during your stay. Bring your boat and launch it just down the road at the public boat launch (you can tie it to the dock as well). Watch the sunset over the lake from the newly built deck and relax in the hot tub or sit by the fire watching the stars.15 minutes to Crosby (Cuyuna trails bike trails/scenic lookout), 20 minutes to downtown Brainerd, 7 minutes to Paul Bunyan Land, 15 minutes to Mille Lacs lake.

There were so many positives here!! It was so private and secluded that 4 boys of various ages could be loud without worry and had plenty of activities to hold all of the their attention. Between all the board games, all the options in the lake, the hot tub, and the fire pit it was extremely easy to completely unplug and truely relax. My favorite spot was sitting on the deck reading because it felt like I was in a tree house. There was 1 small issue and the host was so responsive and took care of it so quickly, we barely even noticed.

I’m glad we were able to get the oven back up and running for you-if only they came with a warning buzzer for when they were going to act up. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house and property are beautiful and maintained. All was very clean. It's quiet and peaceful. The amenities are top notch. Our hosts thought of everything right down to unopened toothbrushes just in case you forgot your own. There were plenty of board games and Wii games that the kids loved. We also loved the Lily pad, paddle board and kayak! The hot tub was very clean and a great addition to our stay on cool mornings. I do have to say the trek up and down to the lake was very understated in the listing. It is a lot of steep steps up and down. If you have any physical limitations this would not be the place for you. But aside from that it exceeded our expectations.

This was an amazing get away from home and the place was beautiful! The hosts were always available if we had any questions but everything was set up so well that I didn’t have any questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place to stay

We had a fantastic time while staying here. The place had everything and I mean everything you could possibly need. If you are looking for a place in the Brainerd area I definitely recommend staying here.

Lake and Biking

We had an amazing stay and trip. Location is great. Close to biking, towns and on the lake. Beautiful views with hot tub and fire pit. 100% recommend.

Family vacation

This house was beautiful inside and out. The lake was amazing! My children were finishing machines and loved the triple bunk room! Check in and out process was super easy and the owner is so friendly! We had deer visit daily and the sunsets on the dock were beautiful. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a lake house!

Had a great few days at Nokay Lake with all the property had to offer… appreciated the minor updates from our initial stay two years ago. The deck is awesome, the hot tub a bonus and the trip down to the water is still a workout. Appreciate the host’s responsiveness and open dialogue.

Very clean, very cute home!

Britney was very communicative and the home was gorgeous! Great location on the lake, had so much room for outdoor activities and the home provided all of the amenities needed. We had an amazing stay! Definitely will be back :)

Amazing cabin and lake!

This place really has it all! The cabin itself is a great place to stay with all the amenities that you need to really enjoy yourself without any worries. The owners communicate really well if there are any questions/concerns. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a few days away from the "madness". Thank you!

Beautiful Private Cabin

The cabin was beautiful and had everything you needed. If there was something you forgot they had you covered and if not town was 15-20 minutes away to go grab it. It was quiet and private, and had plenty of room to play games and chill outside.

Beautiful and relaxing

It is a very nice house and property with a nice view of the lake. It is about 95 steps down to the lake. So be in good shape to walk back up. The amenities are plentiful.

Private and relaxing home with a view

This very private home had every we were looking for and more. I overpacked because I didn't realize how well-stocked it was. We loved it so much that we booked it again for next year before we left. We only left once during a 4 night stay and I was never bored; I especially loved hanging out by the shore with the dock, fire pit, and loons, turtles, and an osprey that frequent the area.

Family Holiday

Great week of overall accommodations and weather (yes, our host even provided GREAT weather over our July 4th holiday week, LOL). Appreciated all the amenities; great space for our family of Mom, Dad and 4 kiddos! The property was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the large deck, the hot tub and lake dock. Nice swim area, plus kids able to fish from the dock. Great communication connection with the owners.

Our property is very kid friendly. We have tons of outdoor activities for kids including a tree house and slide, climbing dome, teeter toter, and most importantly room to run and explore. The lake is down the bluff (steps are constructed from recycled guard rail posts), but is the best spot on the lake with little to no weeds. Lily pad, kayak and paddle board will be available to use upon request.
