Amazing House, Wonderful Memories!

We have come to Galveston every summer for 20+ years, and this was the best house we have ever stayed in. Beautiful, spotless, close to the beach and the pool was wonderful. We loved every minute of it!

Thanksgiving Getaway

We had 8 members of our extended family stay for a Thanksgiving getaway. We had a perfectly relaxing time and were so refreshed. The hosts decorated and prepared this home so well that we will definitely be back!

Labor Day Weekend

We had such a wonderful time at this house! The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed for a great long weekend. The kids were obsessed with the pool and it came in so handy since the weather was rainy off and on while we were there, so it being covered allowed them to still play and have a good time. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was just as described . The inside was clean and the air conditioning worked great but the pool area could use a little more cleaning. I know it’s outside but you can tell the tabel hadn’t been wiped down in awhile and the deck could use a good hose down.

Family trip

Property could have been much cleaner. Doors, walls dingy. Pool area very dirty.

Spring break

We really enjoyed this property. The location was great if you are looking to get out of the city a little bit. We had the beach all to ourselves all week which was great. The pool is ice cold with no heater. It would have been nice to use it but it was too cold. Plenty of televisions and a Bluetooth speaker to Hooke your own devices up to which was nice. Overall a great stay and highly recommend

Beautiful place but very noisy

large space and beautiful house but there is a lot of traffic on the road between the house and the access to the beach. It is so loud that we didn’t use the deck.

House with a pool

House layout was great for our family. We enjoy beach AND pool time but pool was COLD and only 2 of our 9 could get in. Pictures appear to have sun hit the pool to warm it but we didn’t see that and it was great weather while we were there. Nicely decorated, great kitchen. In very good condition.

In general a great property.Well equipped with everything. I would say the main house was very clean but the area under cover at pool could have been cleaned betterAlso when I was booking it was not clear that the VRBO charges were in addition to total price of property. I have rented with VRBO in past and that was not the case. But in general an excellent property !

Beautiful Beach House!

Beautiful house - the house is actually prettier in person than the online pictures! Plenty of bedrooms for a large family - bunkroom is great for the kids. House has views of the gulf - and there is even a window from the master shower that has a great view of the water. It's a quick car ride to the beach. The pool is completely covered and a bit chilly. But a nice refresher after a long day at the beach. Give this house 10 out of 10!

Annual Family Vacay 2023

The house was perfect for our family. The pool was great for the kids, they would stay in the pool 24 hrs if allowed. We had three families so the bathrooms were perfect. The master shower was fun for all the kids. Beds were comfy. Layout was great. Balconies were great for all the sunsets, sunrises and full Harvest moon sights. The location was straight shot to the beach. No golf cart needed, parking was right at beach. A wagon to tote stuff was helpful. Kitchen had all accessories and more. Location was quiet and away from all the traffic and activity down by Pleasure Pier. Negatives - We had a few very minor issues but maintenance was quick to respond. Traffic between the house and beach was light most times but while sitting on balconies, noticeable but not atrocious. All in all = Our BEST Vacay yet!

Good Stay

To be honest, my family was unimpressed with the cleanliness of this property. Our family is in the hospitality industry and we were surprised by the lack of upkeep of the property. You know, the monthly maintenance things you need to keep within your maintenance rotation: light fixtures, spider webs in windows and corners, dirty ac vents, etc. But! We contacted the property management company and got a very attentive and quick reply by Calvin, the Property Service and Guest Specialist. He addressed our issues and sent out Dadrian, a property maintenance attendant. He was fantastic and friendly. He was able to get us all fixed up so that we could relax and enjoy the rest of our stay. We appreciate this property management company for doing their due diligence and making our stay enjoyable. On a side note: I would suggest, if you want to be able to hear the ocean, rent a place across the street, the traffic can get a bit loud during AM/PM rush hour.

Beautiful, but major ant issue

It’s a gorgeous home with beautiful furnishings and decor. Very comfortable beds, linens, outdoor furniture. Great a/c! Kept the house nice and cool! The master shower…amazing!! Very nice well maintained home with very comfy furniture. Cons: Ants everywhere! In the living room, on the furniture! In the kitchen on the stove, in the stairway, in the bedroom/bathrooms. Fire ants in the yard so bad you couldn’t play in the yard. They obviously know because they had ant baits available, but the ants just moved onto another area. Glass: Garage had been damaged in the storm the week and half earlier and glass was everywhere. All around the pool, in the front where you drive in, and we even found glass on the midlevel balcony on the rug (not sure where that was from). 3 people, including a 4 year old, stepped on glass. When we called about the ants and glass, we were told someone would come clean up the glass…they never came. Someone did drop off ant spray though. Mosquitos were horrible, so bad we had to spray off on everyone as soon as they got out of their cars. The owners aren’t responsible for this, but just a heads up to bring spray. Pool was very cold, but that would’ve been perfect on a hot day. Just know that if it’s a rainy visit, you aren’t using the pool. No autopool cleaner either. Electricity went out while we were there for over 6 hours. We had to call the management company to follow up on status vs them calling up to give updates. They were nice when we did call.

The house was dusty and not cleaned. We had bugs in our bed and got ate up. There was a broken sprinkler and empty alcohol can in the backyard. There was not enough towels for the Mountain guest that it provided the cooking pans and pots were all scratched up and they were lined with flaking off chemicals that they were unable to be used, except for the largest stainless steel pot the glass pan as well as the cast-iron skillet, but the cast-iron skillet had rust on it so it wasn’t. It hasn’t been taken care of properly.On top of all those we had the long guys come and go to the backyard while we were walking out on the porch in our swim tops, but I had just had my child out there in the towel drying. The pool man came and was about to shock the pool while we were at the beach and when we came home, he was about to pour chemicals in it that you can’t swim in and we were never communicated with it so we could’ve gotten in the pool and got chemical burns. The neighbor’s dog kept pooping on the property. So you have to watch out for where it was. And there was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, but it was a cheap bowl of toilet paper so you have to use more of it so we had to go and purchase more toilet paper, which is kind of lame and not really that big of a deal, but it was kinda ridiculous for the amount we were paying how dusty the house was cob webs and bugs everywhere. I have photos of the things that happen around the house as well as bugs. Don’t stay here
