NEWLY REMODELED!! Cozy furnished studio in-law unit two blocks from Downtown Mill Valley - a beautiful town a 20 minute drive north of San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge. Restaurants, Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club, cafes, shopping, trail heads, movie theater, comedy club/live theater all within walking distance. You can't beat the location.

This is a one room unit with hardwood floors, 1 king sized bed, kitchenette with mini-fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker, and table for 2, bathroom with shower. This studio is a ground level unit in a 3 unit building with a separate entrance. Flat screen TV and DVD player, wireless internet access and street parking available. Pack and play crib available upon request.

It's perfect for parents visiting their children/grandchildren in the area, or for wedding guests attending the Outdoor Art Club. With nice linens, plush towels, it's much more welcoming and homey than a hotel room.

Easy driving access to San Francisco sight-seeing, and to beautiful Marin scenery and wildlife. 15 minutes to the Muir Woods National Monument old growth redwood forest, and to beautiful Muir Beach. 5 minute drive to Golden Gate National Recreation Area hiking trails, including Tennessee Valley Road trail, where an easy 1 3/4 mile hike takes you to the beach. Mountain biking nearby and kayaking tours of the bay available in Sausalito. 8 to 10 minute drive to downtown Sausalito - explore stores in charming downtown Mill Valley, or walk by the bay on the Sausalito marina. There are ferries to SF leaving from Sausalito and Larkspur.

A 45 minute drive takes you to wine country in Sonoma or Napa, or to the Point Reyes National Seashore.

The unit is on the ground floor (no stairs) of a 2 story, 3 unit building. The backyard is not available for use because full-time tenants have exclusive use of it.

There is a family living upstairs so expect to hear some footsteps above when they are home.

Sorry, no pets allowed.

We also require a $75 cleaning fee for the studio for every reservation.

Lovely, quiet stay in an adorable neighborhood

My husband and I loved our stay here. The location was a perfect spot for us to easily hike the Muir Woods National Park, explore San Francisco, and also pop up to some wineries. We also enjoyed the ability to walk to restaurants and shops. Would absolutely recommend this studio to anyone traveling to the area! Thanks for the lovely stay.

Cozy, walkable location in Mill Valley

Mill Valley weekender

Great spot to access the very lovely town of Mill Valley and its surrounds. It was a little hard to locate the entrance, but eventually discovered it. Especially loved the little kitchenette area in the unit. Shower is super small, sunlight is a bit blocked by the fence and bushes outside the window, but it really worked for the long weekend we were there and using it as a base camp for our activities. Everything was very clean, bed and bedding comfortable. Owner was responsive when we informed her about noise from the apartment upstairs when we first arrived -- didn't hear anything much the rest of the time. Definitely would stay there again.

This place was perfect for our needs. The studio is neat and clean. A great location, across the street from one of the best restaurants in town and a short walk to downtown. Will stay again

Great location

This is the second time we have stayed at the cozy studio. Other than the construction next door, it had all we needed for a good visit with our daughter. Great bed.

Easy access to numerous restaurants. Walkable to town and shops. Efficient kitchen. Well designed bathroom. Comfortable bed and quality linens. Perfect for two.

Comfortable studio and very nice location near downtown Mill Valley.

Great location as described

Great place to come back to after a day out and as described. San Francisco quick 30+ minute drive to the south and great hiking and beaches to the north.. apartment is centrally located in town, walkable to anything. Shoutout the 2AM Club!

Mill Valley get-away

This is a great studio apartment in a wonderful location in Mill Valley. Close to everything we walked to dinner every night and found a wonderful little place, Sweetwater, for a glass of wine. Beautiful bathroom remodel, clean and nice. Thank you!

Perfect for what I needed - walking distance to downtown Mill Valley.. Very clean and comfortable.

This is the perfect spot in you need a room in Mill Valley.. it is very clean and comfortable. Exactly what was advertised.. thank you to the owners. I hope you have availability when I return. The location is perfect.. very close to all of the activity in Mill Valley. Central spot for hiking and biking..

Mill Valley visit

The studio apartment was everything advertised. Clean and Comfortable. I walked to Peets each morning for delicious coffee and conversation. A great base to visit Muir Woods and Stinson Beach. Close to food markets and anything else you might need. Sausalito and San Francisco a short drive. Easy transaction with good communications.

Convenient and spacious

I stayed here 4 nights. The room was, as advertised, two blocks from downtown Mill Valley. In other words, super well located. It's a no-frills apartment but spacious with lots of closet and drawer space and an extremely comfortable firm bed. Microwave and refrigerator worked perfectly for my needs. Also I should add that communication with the property manager was very quick, clear and helpful.

We have been living in the bay area for the past 15 years, in San Francisco for 14 of them so please ask us for insider tips if you plan to visit SF. We got married in Mill Valley, adopted our dog in Mill Valley, and are now back living here with 2 kids. I do marketing consulting for natural food and beverage companies and love to play tennis and hike. My husband is a software engineer who loves kite surfing and playing the drums. We have two boys who love to swim, and ride around with us on our bikes.
