The pictures of this unit made me believe it was high quality. Once in the home, we noticed the quality was below average and not super clean. The location was also not great. There is a night club right down the road that plays extremely loud music until 3 am. You can also hear everything that goes on outside. We were just in town for the night so this home served our needs but I will say we were let down with the quality and location.

Everything was great! The house was super clean, more than enough rooms and space. We went to a baseball and we were plenty close by, great location overall. Parking is nice, you get to park in the back as well. They were quick with communicating with any questions we had. They made our stay nice and smooth. Definitely will be staying there again when I get back to St. Louis!

We made a terrible mistake booking this property. It was a quick last minute trip to Saint Louis. We should fine with some standard hotels despite higher prices but came across this which offered the same price with the benefit of a full townhome. Sadly, it was horrible miscalculation. The townhome description pertaining the amenities DID NOT match what we witnessed in person. We checked in after 6pm. Here were the immediate issues: 1. The neighborhood was very loud with a bar/club playing VERY loud music tracks which did not END until 3am. This seems very obvious to be the standard routine on this block as it’s a club/bar. My family of 6 did not sleep. The vrbo rental ruined our trip. I reached out to the host about our concerns and they stated they had no control of the what happens in the street and offered no solutions or compensation for the inconvenience. 2. We were supposed to have a parking spot behind the vrbo but someone else had parked there and it seemed shady and a sign attached stated that your car will be towed. I texted the host and they did not text back at all pertaining our concern. Poor communication on their part. I drove around for a while and luckily found parking on the street. 3. The rental is not as described on the vrbo site. It is very run down. Holes in the wooden floor, mattresses dirty, hair on the towels, torn mattresse box springs, rusted vents, stains everywhere. Very unclean rental. I requested a refund. No reply.AVOID!!!!!
This was most disgusting. A prior guests hair was all over a supposed new/clean towel. Other towels were stained. Again the host refused to refund any of our amount. We wanted to leave and go elsewhere and just wanted a refund. Horrible service.
Notice the hole in the floor. Multiple damaged holes. Including brick walls and other places.
Stains and debris under the mattress.
Peeling ceilings and occluded vents with large amounts of settled dust. Just very unhygienic. Gross.

We really loved this place! Super nice and spacious. 4 bedrooms and 2 baths - 7 actual beds in total, and 2 floors. So lots of room for our family of 6 to spread out and have our own space. The neighborhood was cool. Lots of places within walking distance, or a 5-10 minute drive to a lot of things. Host was amazing - very prompt and pleasant, answered all questions and was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Nice spacious place for our family of 7. No issues during our stay. The only thing that i would recommend, is having more towels available. There were just 1 towel per person.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! This property was not anything as described. When we arrived there is a strong musty/mold smell. Upon entering it is quickly apparent this property has been neglected. The rug is worn and dirty. There is a layer of dust on the window and door facings. One of the back doors/windows of the property is falling out and attempting to be held together with painters tape. The upstairs bathroom has mold on the ceiling/walls and missing tile in the shower. The door didn’t fully shut and the tub didn’t drain. Condensation drips from the ceiling and the bathrooms still had hair in the floor from previous guests. Cosmetically it needs an updated paint job everywhere. Lots of attempts to patch and spot paint but looks terrible. The box springs are showing on the beds and beds weren’t fully made. There weren’t enough towels for 8 people and no washcloths provided. When I initially reached out to the host he acted surprised and asked for pictures. Come to find out a review from 2 weeks ago indicates similar issues. He offered for someone to come out and we agreed. However, I had to reach back out and he said they attempted to come but no one was there so they left. We were never informed we needed to be there nor is it my responsibility to meet repair men. They did address the draining issue the following day but we only had one morning left at that point. Initially the host was apologetic, but their tone changed as we presented more issues.

Needs a little TLC

House was nice, colors and design nice, however the pictures are color enhanced, most items faded in color. Home needs some TLC; i.e. while bathrooms were updated, tiles in bathroom off, wasn’t clean, back door not safe, window above back door held with duct tape and an overgrown bush makes it very unsafe to enter in backdoor (which is where you have to enter from parking area). Disappointed that the communication seemed "autobotted" and not real reply. Beds were okay, enough for 10 people, however, there weren't enough towels and there was only 1 fork; so kitchen NOT fully stocked, tho he did have cream and sugar for your coffee.Owner needs to go to property and fix some things. Area is VERY diverse. Little Italy area was great!

parking - a little obscure and no way to watch your vehicles
house wasn't cleaned well, refrigerator not cleaned
safety issue and door didn't really close well with gaps

Nice place to stay in St. Louis

This was a nice place to stay in St. Louis. There was enough space for a large group to stay and the location is near SLU and downtown St. Louis.

Terrible - Lawsuit waiting to happen

The listing pictures are not the furnishings downstairs. The couch is broke, stained and cigarette burns. The kitchen has a cabinet door that is almost completely missing except for one piece of really sharp wood. Several holes in wood floor or cracks that you can see the ground underneath. Tile in both bathrooms broke. Stair handrail loose and not safe to use. Box springs broke has wood showing through fabric that could cut leg.

Cardinals game and more

My family had a great time staying in the town house for a quick, one night visit to St. Louis to see a Cardinals game. Great location close to Grove neighborhood and light rail access to downtown for Busch stadium. The town house is spacious, comfortable, and super clean. Highly recommend!

Nice St. Louis Stay

The location was great, very close to everything we wanted to do in St. Louis, but the club playing loud music on Saturday night wasn't the best. The property is an older renovated townhouse and is a little worn from age--old floors, missing paint in some areas, etc---but we didn't have any issues with that. Communication with the host was easy and efficient. I did have trouble receiving clickable links through VRBO so I had to always ask for links to be sent through my text, but the host would quickly send them when I asked. Just added an extra step in having to ask for that. One thing that I noticed was some staining on the couch that I did not see in photos (I think it may have been a different couch) so we weren't thrilled with that. The backyard space was great! The kids loved the fake grass and we had plenty of space to hang out. Overall we had a good experience with this property!

Fabulous location

We came to see the city and this townhouse was conveniently located right in the middle of the city close to everything. Check in and check out was easy. Plenty of free street parking. Well stocked kitchen.

Post-Christmas family stay

Nice location and good communication with property owner. Listing needs updating. Some information is inaccurate. The instructions about use of the TV have nothing to do with the remote controls provided. We were a party of 5, but the property sleeps 12. Oddly, there were only 2 plates and 2 forks in the house. Strange. Likewise, furniture needs to be replaced. The chairs and couch swallow you, as the armature is clearly broken down. Great place for groups

Everything was great for a group of 4 guys in the area for dirt racing at the Dome Only receiving check in info 1 hr prior was a bit stressful. We have had last min cancelations by property managers, so I like to have details in advance. We understand check in is not until 4. But having that info morning of would I’m give peace of mind

Great Location!

This unit was 1.5 miles away from my granddaughters wedding venue. What a time saver for me and family with the rehearsals and wedding activities. Parking was not an issue as my group had three cars. Easy peasy! Host Dan was very helpful with my check in questions and responded promptly. Sheets were clean, water hot, and truly a wonderful experience for my family. Thanks Dan!
