Make sure you get clear directions (with codes) before you arrive. Also, there are 4 large stairs that lead to the apartment. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

It is located in an excellent spot, ideal for accessing the metro, museums, restaurants, pharmacies, and churches. I traveled with my wife and children (ages 9 and 11), and everything was perfect. Check-in was quick and trouble-free. The only thing to note is that the unit is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator, so it might be difficult if you have knee issues or are carrying a lot of luggage. The washing machine was excellent. Keep in mind that the sofa bed sags a bit in the middle and can be uncomfortable, but placing some duvets underneath solves the problem and allows for a good night's sleep. The curtains don't block out all the light, but you can still sleep soundly.I would definitely recommend this place—the location is the real winner.

Thank you for your review, Daniel. The issue with the sofa bed had to do with some wood slats that have been removed from their slots. I have fixed them back and I will regularly check on them to ensure they are in place. I will also see if there is a clear benefit in replacing the current curtains. It was great having you over.

Joseph was truly the epitome of a kind and gracious host. He went far beyond what we could have expected, offering to make me lunch and dinner, allowing me to leave my bags at his home after checkout, and even helping me carry them downstairs to my Uber. I ended up spending part of the afternoon chatting with him, and he was such a warm, thoughtful, and lovely person. His kindness made the stay especially memorable, and I am incredibly grateful for his hospitality.

Easy check in instructions from host. Host is easily accessible (if needed). Location is close to metro and tourist sites. Could get loud on weekends, but was not an issue for us.

Terrible. The unit was advertised as having an air conditioner, yet it had none. The host was feeding lies for 3 days that it was about to get installed. When we had no choice but to move to a nearby hotel, the host made all the moves to not reimburse.

Thank your for your review. I have a different experience of what happened. It’s disheartening to read such a negative review after the fact that I have discounted your entire stay by 60% and went above board to make your stay a comfortable one.

The apartment had everything we needed. Check-in was simple and Joseph was helpful and quick to respond. No better location in Paris. Short walk to the metro and plenty of great restaurants close by. We would definitely stay again.

Location is the key

We loved our short stay in Les Halles. The location was great for charming cafes and restaurants. Evening walk to the louvre was highlight.

In the heart of everything

Very old building and lots of stairs but the apartment was very nice and host very helpful. In the heart of Paris walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre.

Great stay!

Great location. Apartment was fine and fair value. Communication with host was excellent. It is well advertised, but must be able to walk up 4 flights of stairs to stay here.

Wonderful, wish I was still there!

The property was better than expected. The location and atmosphere were totally amazing. We could have looked out the windows all day. We felt just a tiny bit Parisian. Would definitely stay there again!

Great location. Clean and cosy. Steps up are a little challenging if you are older but it worth the climb!

Perfect apartment in the heart of Paris. Would absolutely stay again on our next trip. Walking distance to almost everything you want & need, including a major train station for easy transportation to anything further away.Great for 1-4 people. Could start to get cramped with 4Don't miss a wine tour (or classes) at the Caves du Louvre down the street. I echo other reviews on the 4 flights of stairs (only a caution for less-mobile visitors).

Great neighborhood and location

We loved the location of the flat. We were very comfortable in the flat as it had everything we needed. We’d recommend it highly as the host was terrific and very responsive and thoughtful. The only drawback for some might be the four flights of stairs.

It is a super convenient location. Walkable to everywhere. Louvre museum is 5 minutes walk, Notre Dame is 15min. The property manager is friendly, provides detailed informations and welcome gifts. Room can be a little better maintained: bathroom heater is not working. Door handle from inside is missing. No elevator inside the building, which is probably common for many old buildings. But the location compensates every inconvenience. We really enjoyed staying there
