Great location and perfect apartment with wonderful outdoor space, a fantastic view and quiet and relaxing pool. Very helpful host Karin went shopping for us prior to arrival because our flight was delayed. 5 stars!

Perfect location and everything you need

We enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to all the restaurants and the kitchen was well equipped. Great sunsets on the deck.

We were very happy with this unit! It was located in a perfect area where we could walk to shopping, dining and excursions. We had fun exploring the island, meeting people and trying out new places to eat. We loved everything!

Perfect location

Villa is overlooking the beautiful ocean and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The villa was wonderful and Karin is the best. You must stay here when you visit Bonaire.

We really enjoyed our stay in the penthouse! Karin was a fabulous host! She was very quick to respond with any questions we had. The 2 bedrooms were very spacious with extra linens and towels. The breezes coming through the windows were amazing! The kitchen had all we needed for cooking. The outdoor grill was great! Our favorite part was getting to watch the fireworks on the balcony on New Year’s Eve. Hope to visit again soon!

Great place for scuba trip

Property was amazing! The location was near shops and cafes. We drove to several dive shops. Check in was easy. Highly recommend.

Great spot on a fun island

Loved the location, close to all restaurants (just a short walk) loved the 3rd story outdoor terrace with bbq grill, table, chairs, amazing views/sunsets. inside was nicely laid out, clean and everything you could need. Loved bonaire for the diving and windsurfing.

Beautiful

The location is amazing and we loved everything about the property. It was one of the best supplied vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed in and Karin, the property manager, was quick to respond to any questions or minor requests.

Great location, nice accommodations, fantastic view

Our group of 3 divers had a wonderful stay at the Nautical Nest, the top floor of the 3-story building pictured. The caretaker was FABULOUS, - had cold beer in the fridge upon arrival, and assisted us in getting a rental truck when AVIS lost our reservation - probably the last truck on the island since it was Carnival Week. Would stay there again in a minute!

Beautiful sunsets

Excellent property. Directly across the street from the clearest water for snorkeling. Walking distance to restaurants - one of the best is right next door! One of the best places to watch the sunset!

Stunning location, fabulous views.

Enjoyed a fabulous 10 days with friends at this Penthouse apartment. The apartment has everything you need. The views are exceptional. The Manager Karin is excellent and very informative who was available by email and WhatsApp. I would recommend.

Perfect Bonaire Paradise

The Club Nautico penthouse is amazing, and has to be the best location on Bonaire. Walk to shops and restaurants, snorkel and swim outside the door, and a view that never ends. Thoughtfully stocked with utensils, books, games, beach supplies - felt like home from the first minute. Karin is fabulous and responsive on the island. Lucky to stay 6 weeks and didn’t want to leave. Thank you for sharing this paradise!

A month in the "Nest"

Really great apartment - close to everything downtown, huge space indoors and outside, fast WiFi, excellent kitchen supplies, and cold A/C for the few nights the wind wasn't enough to cool the bedroom. The view of the sunset over the bay and Klein is a marvel - this spot is perfect for sun-downers and sunset watching. Check-in was super easy and the on-island manager Karin was fantastic to work with.

Great View

walking distance to restaurants & grocery store. Enjoyed condo. Had everything you could need. Only problem was its on 3rd floor, no elevator so climbing stairs with luggage/groceries/dive equipment was a little tough. Perk was excellent view from deck.

The stairs to our penthouse are an issue , we recognize that . But we tell each other that once we arrive all is good :). We should probably recommend more clearly in our listing that divers could use a storage locker at their chosen dive operator. Many divers just bring their personal equipment , mask, flippers, snorkel , back from a dive after leaving behind the heavy items. We have rinsing tub and a drying rack for suits. Thanks for your review , we learn from these comments.

Beautiful with a catch

Amazing place right downtown on the waterfront. The catch is there is only street parking, which is full most of the time. Dive gear should be stored at dive shops so you dont have to haul it from wherever you parked upstairs.

Nautical Nest July 4 week

We love the place as we have stayed there before. The biggest issue this time was the dust from the building behind us ... very heavy and noisy early in the morning. Hope they have it completed before our return. Mike Sale

Amazing Rental, Close to Everything

We spent a week at this lovely penthouse apartment. The unit was clean, and set up so there was a constant light breeze through the unit (there is A/C throughout if needed, but we used only in the bedroom at night). The view from the deck/patio was amazing. Perfect location for watching the sunset after a day of diving. It is just a short walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. Property manager was lovely and communication was easy and prompt. If we go back (which we hope to do) my first choice would be to return to this rental!

Downtown Penthouse in Kralendijk

My family stayed comfortably in this beautiful penthouse located in the heart of Bonaire. The views were spectacular and everything was within walking distance. You can tell alot of thought went into decorating and making this condo feel like a home away from home. The outside deck is large and we spent so much time on it overlooking the gorgeous sea, boats and of course sunsets. We had a warm welcome and good communication with the owners and the property managers. Even a welcome drink was provided! Nice touch! I would definitley stay at this beautiful, waterfront penthouse condo again.

Amazing Stay!

The Nest was absolutely amazing! The communication with the property manager before, during, and after our stay was clear, prompt, and helpful. The property was as described & more! The unit had everything we needed from dishes to comfortable furniture. The location was phenomenal. We could easily walk to downtown restaurants & shops. The balconies were the best features of the unit. We could sit outside and watch boats coming & going as well as see so much of the island. I thoroughly enjoyed my morning coffee on the balcony each day. Nights on the balcony provided a wonderful breeze that kept us cool and kept the mosquitoes away! We loved the unit so much we wanted to book for next year (unfortunately it was already booked for the time we plan to be in Bonaire next year). It will be very difficult to find something we like as much as the Nest on future trips! Thank you for a memorable experience!

Wonderful Accommodations

We spent 2 weeks windsurfing and snorkeling. The penthouse was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 boys. The views are wonderful and the property well equipped. It was very nice to have a kitchen that fulfilled our needs. We found the listing to be accurate and the photos to represent the condo. It was clean when we arrived and well maintained. Parking was easy. The place if very secure. The owner and caretakers were extremely helpful. For example, we like to BBQ and ran out of fuel. This is very hard to come by on Bonaire. They were able to get us a full tank within a day. Otherwise, no significant wants or need. I would certainly recommend this property and will be returning next year.

Excellent rental in Bonaire

Three of us spent a week at Nautico over the New Year's holiday. We loved it. The place is immaculate, had everything that we needed, fully equiped kitchen, and an extraordinary patio from which to watch the town go by and the sunsets. Food next door is equally good. The beds were comfotable and clean. Inga was very sweet and helpful. One remark: we were unable to use the AC unit in the living room, as water poured from it onto the living room floor every time we used it. We told Inga and I'm sure they fixed it. Each bedroom has its own AC unit and those worked very well. The neighbors were friendly and there was plenty of parking space for our truck. The place is a bit spendy, but we got a little discount as we booked last minute. This place is highly recommended! Note: We came through Aruba and flew from there via DAE - not recommended, their flights are cancelled all the time, according to locals and so were we both ways. Choose Insel Air instead.

Great Location and Amazing Views

This was our first time renting this condo and we stayed two weeks. We felt like we were "home" as soon as we walked in. Absolutely everything you need is there. Since the owner actively uses it they leave a lot of day to day items there. We ate all our breakfasts, lunches and about half our dinners there. The gas bbq grill is a full size and works great. The location is in the middle of town with everything is walkable. The views and extensive outdoor areas are great! A/C's are in each room. When the trade-winds die down they are great to have. The local property manager, Karin, is a gem. Very quick to respond if you need anything and with great advice. As others have mentioned it is two flights of stairs up. It wasn't a problem for us as we leave our dive gear at the dive shop. Parking was no issue for us but perhaps it is different in the high season? We feel the location and grill more than make up for that. We would absolutely rent this condo again when it is available.

Club Nautico Penthouse: Nautical Nest

Nautical Nest (the name for this beautiful penthouse at Club Nautico) is everything the owners say it is and then some.We have been going to Bonaire since 1997 and have always admired this property from the outside when we would go past it. This year we had the good fortune to stay here, and do so for 5 weeks. As I told the owners shortly after we arrived, here are the things we enjoyed: "the view; the view; the view; the A/C throughout (when needed); the high-end appliances and amenities you provided; the iPod docking station & sound system; the bed in the master bedroom; and oh, and did I say the view". Nautical Nest is conveniently located right on Playa Lechi with great views of Klein Bonaire, the Club Nautico Marina, the central part of Kralendijk and the mooring area for many sail boats. We even got to enjoy regatta right from our living room and terraces. It is within easy walking distance of many great restaurants and everything else downtown. But being right in the center of town it is amazingly quiet because you are on the top floor. Yes, you get the occasional noise of a rocket motorcycle at night, the loud music from one of the big private boats that are occasionally docked at the marina and the once-a-night deposit of glass bottles in the recycling bins by It Rains Fishes, but none of these sounds were ever a real problem. There is an on-site parking area where we never had an issue with having a space to park and its location also provides easy access to load and unload dive gear. Everything in the condo is of high quality and in excellent working order and if anything goes wrong, they have a local caretaker who responds almost immediately. On a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being best) we would rate this property an easy 12 or more. The photos do not do this place justice - it is even nicer in person. And the owners, Augusta and Herman, were an absolute pleasure to work with, as were the caretakers. We were so pleased that after just a few days there, we booked it again for next year.
