Katy and Dan were excellent hosts; very communicative and kind. Their beautiful cottage was a perfect place to stay while we explored Marin County.

Great property! The driveway was no issue for us at all but it’s VERY steep. And there’s no AC and no screens. Hosts were lovely and very helpful, neighborhood quiet, very close to town. Feels a world away. Would stay again.

This is a beautiful cottage on a very quite street a short walk from Mill Valley town centre. It has lots of windows with excellent natural light and beautiful views of nature which ever area of the cottage you are in. It’s a short drive to Tiburón, Sausalito and all the main attractions. San Francisco is a straight forward drive across the Golden Gate Bridge. The cottage was very clean, cozy and it felt like a home away from home. We will definitely rebook and we highly recommend it as a great location for your trip to Mill Valley.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our host could not have provided lovelier accommodations. The location was quiet and private and close to a beautiful redwood forest. It was precisely what we were looking for.

Such a lovely space! The pictures really don’t do it justice. If you are a hiker, this is a great location. So close to the Dipsea trail. Warm and responsive host who could not have been nicer.

We stayed in early April and were able to enjoy sitting on the porch listening to the creek while smelling early spring flowers. Very relaxing and a great base camp for exploring Muir Woods and other areas. Surprisingly private as well. Host communicated promptly when needed. Our kids enjoyed the space.

Great location and perfect cottage for 2 people or a family of 4. Everything you would need is supplied and kitchen is thoughtfully outfitted. The only issue was understanding where to park and how to find the entry in the dark but the hosts responded immediately to a text. Just definitely be aware that the property is at the top of a very steep driveway.

The exterior photos don't do it justice, the neighborhood with houses built into the redwood forest is amazingly beautiful. Walked miles and miles and never tired of the views. The cottage is very comfortable an clean and had everything we needed. We took my 94-year-old MiL who gets around well for her age. She was able to climb the steps up to the house. Wouldn't be suitable for anyone with serious mobility issues, but otherwise, great place to stay.

We are a family of four and with teens/tweens and were in town to explore Muir Woods and the nearby beaches. We arrived after sunset and had some difficulty finding the right entrance and called Dan to be sure. He rushed out, escorted us inside, oriented us to the property and carried our bags in! We have teen girls, so lots of bags!The cottage is adorable and was perfect for us. The main bedroom opens up to a loft area where the other beds are, and this was great for helping us feel close to the kids but not right on top of them! And the kids didn't have to share a bed, they had their own twin and were comfortable.I thought the bathroom had some nice finishing touches, and appliances were all easy to use.The pillows were so comfortable and the bedding smelled so fresh, it was very relaxing.It is a cottage, so the space does feel very intimate and close, but it was great for us.There is a bit of a climb from the bottom of the driveway to the door, so if you have mobility issues, this might be challenging as well as getting up the stairs to the beds.The hosts wrote out very detailed instructions and were great communicators and responsive.

Our stay was lovely! Perfectly located near downtown so we could walk. The home accommodate 4 adults well. We enjoyed Tiburon, Sausalito, Mill Valley and the pancake hike on mt. Tamalpius. A beautiful weekend!

Beautiful location but important caveats

The cottage was very clean, and nestled in a beautiful valley. It has been noted elsewhere, but the driveway is very steep. In addition, the wood steps to the gate are dangerously slippery when it has been raining. This combination can make loading/unloading luggage treacherous. The hosts were generally friendly and pleasant, but there was a delay in response when we found no key on entering the cottage. We called and texted, but it took several hours for a response.

Perfect location in the most beautiful neighborhood in Mill Valley. The space was a little tight for our family of 5 but we knew it would be. The hosts were amazing and were very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay here and pick it again!

Pleasant stay

Nice place. However a number of drawbacks. Only one bathroom. Queen bed, not a king. Driveway very steep. We knew this when we booked the home. Nevertheless not ideal.
