PRIVATE RESORT LIVING WITH VIEWS!!
Create lasting memories in this largek two-story home with panoramic views of ocean, Mission Bay, City of San Diego, and all the way to Mexico on a clear day. This open floor-plan home has all of the fine details to make your stay in San Diego unforgettable and is close to all of San Diego's attractions. When not out seeing the sights enjoy the pool, spa, waterfalls, water slide, fireworks (Summer and New Years Eve) and BBQ in your private backyard oasis. This house is perfect for a couples, large families, or multiple families. It provides something for everyone whether you want to kick back and relax or explore everything San Diego has to offer.

BEDROOMS:
Large master bedroom downstairs opens up to private oasis in backyard. Lounge on the hammock, take a morning dip in the pool or spa, or just enjoy the sunshine on one of the many lounge chairs around the pool. Three large, spacious rooms upstairs for rest or play. The fourth bedroom upstairs is a large loft area with floor to ceiling windows to enjoy panoramic ocean/bay views. Large closet downstairs with plenty of additional towels, toys, and games for children and adults. This house is perfect for those traveling with kids. We provide a queen size air bed and bedding for additional sleeping arrangements.

AMENITIES:
This house is an ENTERTAINER’S DREAM. Backyard comes to life at night with 40 lights softly illuminating beautiful rock features. Fountains imbedded in rocks create cascading waterfalls throughout rock features. Relax on the lounge chairs or have some fun on the 25 foot waterslide that wraps around spa. There is state of the art pool/spa saline technology (no chlorine) with digital multi-colored pinwheel lights to create the perfect ambiance. All features controlled with touch of a button via the wireless remote. Plenty of outdoor seating on loungers and chairs. The backyard has a large gas BBQ for afternoon or evening grilling. House works great for multiple families.

The house is centrally located and accessible, yet is nestled in a very exclusive, quiet, and private neighborhood. All major attractions including airport are within 15 minutes away. Watch the Sea World fireworks every night during the Summer. New Years Eve is absolutely incredible with multiple firework displays going off all over the city. Great vacation home!

Where do I even begin? This house was absolutely incredible! The location was breathtaking with spectacular views of the bay, making it the perfect home base for our family of five. We were in town for our oldest’s baseball tournament, and the central location made getting to all the different fields a breeze. Meanwhile, our two younger kids completely fell in love with the backyard and pool setup—they honestly never wanted to leave! It was an overall amazing experience, and our kids are already begging to book a second stay. We can't wait to come back!

Great place for families, reunions, and if you don't want to spend all of your time out of the house. The backyard was very private and secluded, and had everything from tv, pool w/ slide jacuzzi/spa, fire pit and picnic table. There's an outdoor grill which we used a lot during our stay. Quinn was very attentive and responsive. Home is supplied with most everything you'd need. They only thing that took away from the serenity of the backyard was the neighbor on the right. They had small children and a loud group that didn't really adhere to the 9:30pm-8am quiet period, but that's not this homeowner's fault.

Excellent Property!!

We had such a fantastic time at this property! It’s a perfect spot for families and kids, with so much to do and a house that has everything you need. The views are breathtaking, the beds are super comfy, and there’s plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed hanging out in the backyard area while the kids had a blast swimming and jumping on the trampoline. We’d definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back again!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful San Diego home! The location was perfect… close to everything we needed, yet tucked away in a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood. The house was spotless and fully stocked with all the essentials, which made settling in so easy. Pacific Beach Paradise

Great property, very clean, easy to get hold of owner. Secluded back yard/pool area. Kids loved the slide! House close enough to Pacific Beach if you like the bar scene but far enough away up the hill for privacy. Would definitely stay again!

Fun house with lots of amenities!

The outdoor space is truly spectacular for kids and grownups a like. We could have been happy just hanging out in the heated pool, using the waterslide, trampoline and hot tub our entire trip. And gym in garage was a nice bonus. A wonderful multi-generational play to stay.

Awesome Family Christmas Getaway!

A HUGE thank you to the Smith family for hosting our San Diego Family Christmas vacation! The property was beautiful and we enjoyed every minute spending time together and playing in San Diego. The property location is excellent and close to all attractions! We loved the backyard, firepits, hot tub and pool area. Wonderful Vacation Home

This property is everything you want it to be and more. The whole rental process and communication with Quinn was a breeze. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, inviting and fully stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The backyard pool, slide and spa are like your own little piece of heaven, especially when all lit up at night. My kids really enjoyed playing basketball on the poolside court daily as well. My family had such a great time, I highly recommend this home for your next San Diego/Pacific Beach vacation!!

Family Vacation

I cannot recommend this property enough. It was the perfect house for our family of 9 and is exactly as shown in the online photos. Our 3 grand kid’s loved the pool, spa and water slide. The house is very centrally located - about 20 - 30 minutes to every place we wanted to visit. Everything was extremely clean and more than enough dishes, glasses, kitchen ware etc. We ate outside for every meal and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings. We hope to return next year.

We loved this location

Overall a great place. We will consider renting again. I wish a few things were described better prior to renting. It should be disclosed that the pool is very deep and has very little room for young kids with out swimming skills to play. It would also be helpful to note that the owners of the house have cats and despite the home being very clean and appropriate, the smell of cats is noticeable, especially in the garage.. Overall, we had a wonderful 6 days. The home allows for easy access to the various parks and beaches. .

My wife and I are glad that Cody and family enjoyed their stay with us. However, we would like to offer clarification on a couple of his comments that are somewhat misleading here. We don't have cats, we've never owned cats, and we've never allowed our guests to bring cats. Also, our pool has a deep end as mentioned for those that wish to use and enjoy the waterslide or to just dive in! We ALSO have a large "Baja" at the opposite end of the pool. A Baja is essentially a large, extended step or shelf within the pool. The Baja is great because it allows younger kids to swim and play in the shallow water (16" depth) while parents/adults lounge in the pool at the same time. The Baja is approximately 12' x 12'. In addition to the Baja we also provide a few small life vests if needed. We hope this extra information and context is helpful for planning your future trip!

Good location with a tremendous back yard.

We had a great stay, the house is nice but the back yard steals the show. It's a wonderful location and outdoor setting with hot tub, pool, and water slide. The only downside would be they automatically turn off the outdoor lights and power to the hot tub at 9:30 pm, and the water drains out of the hot tub on its own at that time. - party over! There is one great bedroom downstairs but the other bedrooms are more like kids rooms, so plan accordingly. Also, there isn't heat or air that we could find, so it was very cold in the house while we were there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the back yard makes up for these small issues.

Thank you for your review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Just to clarify, our house does have central heating and air so it is always comfortable year-round. All of our guests are free to use it whenever they want. We encourage all of our guests to call us directly anytime if they have questions about house amenities, pool, remotes, temperature, etc. Out of respect for our neighbors we ask that quiet time start at 10pm but you are welcome to stay our longer to enjoy the backyard so long as its not loud music, yelling, etc.

Such a cool pool (but warm)!

Our group of 9 stayed here in mid-February for 10 days and had a great time. We had a bunch of kids with us ranging from ages 2-18. Of course the pool was a smash hit with everyone. The thing which impressed us most was the water temperature. When we travel, we're usually trying to escape the cold weather of our Northwest winters, and while doing so we've stayed in California at various VRBOs with heated pools and they were all pretty freezing -- plus, all of our pool stays so far had included extra charges to heat the water. There were no separate heating charges here, and the water was perfect, even though the pool is quite deep by the waterslide. We had a couple sunny days during our stay, but most of the trip was overcast or rainy, but in spite of that the kids still had a great time swimming. The house was also great and had plenty of room for us, and has been updated beautifully with modern furnishes and a fun, beachy theme. Hope to stay here again sometime.

Our family had an unforgettable stay at this stunning VRBO in San Diego! This house is an absolute gem, offering spacious and beautifully designed indoor and outdoor areas perfect for gathering. The property is impeccably stocked—not just with the essentials but with thoughtful extras that made our stay effortless and comfortable.The heated pool was a highlight, maintained at a perfect temperature that had everyone, from kids to parents, splashing around for hours. It’s truly a standout feature! Typically, we opt for beachfront rentals, but this year we chose this larger home just a short drive from the coast. It turned out to be a brilliant decision. The proximity to the beach was ideal, yet we avoided the usual headaches of beachfront stays—no battling for parking or dealing with noisy late-night crowds.This place offered the perfect balance of luxury, convenience, and tranquility, making it a far better experience than our usual beachside rentals. Do not book this home for you own safety.

We showed up at check in time and the cleaning service were still going on for the next 30 minutes. We waited for them to finish. We put down our belongings and went to use the pool. We had a few friends come over to use the pool while the sun was out before they were leaving to check into their hotel, there were less than 10 people in total, and it was never mention to us that a few people could not visit during the day outside of quiet hours. The home is also advertised as a 10 person house, and we had a total of 10 people in the home for an hour. If the host does not want 10 people in the home ever, he should not be advertising it as a 10 person house. Again, only 4 were planning on spending the night, like we told the host when we booked it and when he called us. We did not throw a party, we had a few people over that still was within what was allowed to be at the house according to the listing. The home also claimed to be pet friendly, so our friends brought their dog over. The dog was not staying at the house. We had 4 people total staying in the house, and no dog was spending the night. Less than an hour and a half after the cleaning people left and we entered the home, we were called and told to leave immediately, not given any warning. The host was rude, was not listening to reason, and lashed out. He told us there was a complaint about music, but we only had music playing inside of the house at a reasonable volume, wh

Sophia booked our house on 4th of July weekend for 2 nights. Her booking listed only 3 people. I reached out to her a couple days prior to arrival to re-confirm guest count she again stated that there would only be 3 staying with no visitors (we do allow 10 people staying or visiting). She arrived at the house with a large group of people all carrying suitcases, bags, and cases of alcohol. Soon after arrival the complaints from my neighbors started coming in. I was told that there was loud music blasting in the backyard, and lots of people drinking, yelling, and screaming. This was a house party quickly getting out of hand. San Diego City has strict rental laws against parties and we can potentially lose our rental license so we had no choice but to ask her and her group to leave. Also, one of the guests brought a dog. We do allow dogs on a case-by-case basis. We only ask that you let us know up front so we can collect the necessary damage deposit for potential accidents.

This property just keeps getting better! This was our second stay, and we noticed several thoughtful new touches and upgrades around the house. We love the peaceful location and beautiful views, and there are plenty of comfortable places to work—we stayed while our daughter attended camp at the San Diego Zoo.The backyard is truly next-level, with the amazing slide and jacuzzi, and the new ping-pong table out front was another brilliant addition. We absolutely love staying here and will definitely be back. Thank you, Quinn!

My wife and I purchased this home because we love the location and the view. It is truly amazing and we never get tired of it. We have 2 kids ages 8 and 10. We love the fact that we are minutes away from the beautiful features that San Diego has to offer - the beach, Mission Bay, Sea World, downtown San Diego, Pacific Beach, shopping centers, and La Jolla Restaurants. We enjoy meeting new people and sharing our home with visiting families to make their vacation memorable.

Our home is one of the few properties in La Jolla that has an incredible 180 degree southern view of the city of San Diego, bays, ocean, Coronado island all the way to Mexico. It is a very quiet peaceful location on Soledad Mountain. My wife and I love to take our kids to the beaches like La Jolla Shores, Wind n' Sea, and Pacific Beach or go for walks or bike rides on the Boardwalk in Mission Bay. There are many boat rental places nearby for water skiing, jet skiing, fishing, whale watching, etc. La Jolla is known for its scenic beauty, great beaches, restaurants, bars, entertainment, seal beach/preserve. You can enjoy spectacular views of nightly fireworks from our house all Summer long!

Enjoy waking up and stepping into your own private resort including water slides, waterfalls and a deck with gorgeous ocean views. At night BBQ and enjoy the breathtaking tranquility of watching the San Diego sunset and taking a dip in a warm water pool.
