This unique property is a rustic cabin with modern amenities--created from an 1880's tobacco barn. Relax with your coffee in one of the rocking chairs on the porch, or overlooking the property on the spacious deck. This property includes 16 acres with hiking trails that lead to a 1/2 acre pond. Fish the pond and have a picnic in the peaceful setting. You are close to many outdoor recreation areas including Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock State Parks and the Dan River. We had a great stay at this cabin. It had very nice amenities and the cabin was cozy. It was close to both hanging rock state park and pilot mountain.

We loved the shower which included great water pressure and plenty of hot water. We had visits from deer and hummingbirds. House was exactly as described. Perfect location for hiking Pilot Mountain one day and Hanging Rock the next. Outstanding breakfast at Trails End Grill in Pinnacle very close to Pilot Mountain.

This little tobacco cabin is a perfect getaway. The cabin was lovely, comfortable and so quiet. Although we had rain most of our stay, the outside porch was awesome. The TV and fire pit made it so cozy under that wonderful metal roof. Perfect for our senior couple stop over on the way to Sunset Beach, NC. Thanks for the relaxing stay.

Anyone coming to this area should ONLY stay at this place! Amazing everything with all of the experience of being in the NC mountains but also more luxurious than any hotel. I wanted to steal several of the furniture pieces but dont worry we didn’t. Even the outside was private and wonderful which you would never get at a hotel. We didn’t go to the pond… a little afraid of what wildlife might be on the way but just knowing that was also an option was great! Amazing place!

This is a very unique property. The integration of the modern with the old was done well. The location is quiet and relaxing. The paths and wildlife add great interest and enjoyment to your stay. The covered decks are wonderful.

Absolutely loved this cabin!! It had everything you need,even heated floors. This was such a treat as we went during the winter. I highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time at the cabin. Everything you need for a relaxing get-away. Take advantage of the patio, we loved watching a movie by the fire pit.

This house is done very well and thoughtfully. It’s so cute with all the details of a great cabin getaway. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning again in the future. My pup enjoyed watching the deer off the back porch as we enjoyed the fire pit.

The cabin exceeded our expectations. Close to the state parks for hiking and amazing views. Very secluded and private grounds were perfect. Loved walking the trails around the property with our dog. The cabin had all the amenities we needed plus some. Loved the welcome gift for our beagle. Would definitely come back again to get to more trails the next time.

Have you ever wondered if you need a spacious patio with comfy patio furniture, a fire pit and a TV? I am here to tell you that you absolutely do!! We absolutely fell in love with it!! The cabin was perfect, so clean and adorable. Our dogs loved the property. We loved hiking Hanging Rock and checking out all the pet friendly breweries and restaurants but really loved getting back to that patio!! The hosts, the cabin, the spacious yard, the welcome treats for our fur girls, everything was perfect, except the patio, it was beyond perfect!! We would go back in a heartbeat!!

This cozy tobacco barn turned log cabin has been one of our most favorite stays! We loved the retro/modern amenities combined with the authentic rustic decor, the loft bed, the heated floors, the kitchen appliances, the beautiful original walls. Our pups enjoyed walking the wooded acres and lounging with us on the super comfortable outside porch. Thank you for an amazing stay! We highly recommend!

An amazing get away!

This is an amazing get away, ideal for 2 but, was comfortable for 4 of us. Just far enough in the mountain that you feel alone in the world, but close enough to the highway that it is an easy drive. The cabin is charming, clean and loaded with extras! I know where I am going to run away to next time I need a break!!

Beautiful property! The host was communicative and helpful. Exceptionally clean for a “cabin”, with great amenities. The heated floors were amazing. The kitchen was stocked with brand name cookware- very cute and functional. Comfy bed, quiet property, deer visitors, welcome book full of info. I’m so happy we stayed here and hope we can come back. Only tip is to bring a sleep mask- the light comes in the windows in the AM.
