We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over MEA Weekend. The property feels secluded even though the neighbors are not that far away. We had a minor glitch during check-in but Penny was quick to resolve the issue and it didn't impact our stay. We loved sitting by the outdoor firepit with a beautiful view of the Mississippi surrounded by Fall colors. It was just what we needed!

The Royalton River house was perfect and fit our needs wonderfully. The location was fantastic along a good stretch of water for fishing. I hope to return soon!

We had a great stay at the Mississippi River Retreat. The house was a perfect home base for spending our days fishing the Mississippi River and a comfortable place to relax and hang out after a long day on the water.The outdoor space was a highlight, especially the fire pit and easy access to the Mississippi River. It’s a great setup if you’re coming to the area to fish or just want to spend time along the river.The house had everything we needed and made for a very enjoyable stay. A couple of small suggestions would be an updated grill and adding a toaster to the kitchen.Overall, a great river retreat and a place we’d definitely recommend.

The house was super nice and very welcoming—it had everything we needed for a relaxing time with the family. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. The host was incredibly friendly, always available, and very easy to communicate with, which made the whole stay even better. We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely stay here again.

The property was perfect for us. We booked the River House for the bridal party for our daughter’s wedding. The house had everything we needed and more. The host was pleasant and replied quickly to any questions. Thank you for being a part of one of our families best days!

Ideal location: secluded and scenic BUT near many amenities. House itself is welcoming, cozy, and full of conveniences such as wicked fireplace, fancy oven, hot tub, etc. A definite hit with the family, kids are already asking for another trip there in the summer. Highly recommend!

Great Relaxing Stay by the River

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a great location for the wedding we were visiting for and had everything we wanted for a relaxing weekend right off the river in a beautiful home!

My spouse and I wanted to get-away after Christmas, but before the CPA tax season starts. This was a great house. Quiet and homey. We had a small maintenance issue with the house and owner came by right away to fix. Would recommend.

Fantastic Location

This house was perfectly located with a quiet setting and view. We were in town for a surprise party and had our friends and family over the next day to enjoy the location. We will definitely book again.

Comfortable with a great view.

Great location. Right on the river with beautiful views. We had a wonderful time relaxing, making meals and enjoying the fireplace. The sauna was a great added bonus!
