Quiet Country Ranch Barn Apartment!

Welcome to Cowboy Country! This is a 2 bedroom 1 bath barn apartment on a small working ranch. We raise American Quarter Horses here as well as Registered Corriente cattle. Also present on our property you will find horses, roping steers, 2 Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, 2 cats, 2 dogs and 1 donkey named Hillary. On Wednesday nights we have team roping practice in our arena (weather permitting). We are “horse friendly” with stalls available for an additional fee.

Good place to stay and I would probably return again; however, the beds were terribly uncomfortable so I won't.

Overall it was ok..... the bed in 1 room was so high had a hard time getting on it and it wasn't super comfortable......but we stayed one night and it was sufficient.

We absolutely hated to leave this property! The "barn" apartment was decorated so well for the overall theme and was so comfortable. The location was perfect for all of the activities we had planned and was easy to find. The animals were all so friendly (horses, donkey, goats, dogs, barn cat) so we spent a lot of time visiting and petting them. The kitchen had everything you could ask for if you plan on cooking. Our rooms/beds were comfortable with good size closets. Both bedrooms and the family room all had tv's if you're planning on watching a movie. We definitely plan on returning!

This place is awesome! It’s very comfortable and peaceful. It’s the perfect location to explore Bluff Dale (The Front Porch and the Vineyard), Tolar, Granbury (La Creperie) and Glen Rose (Bull Lion Tasting Room). Loco Coyote was fun for dinner & entertainment, too! We’ll be back for a longer stay for sure - so much more to adventure!

This was such a neat place to stay and just as described. Located out in the country with a friendly host and animals to boot. My son got great photos of the stars and a few of the animals. I would recommend this quite place for anyone looking to get away from the city life and unwind.
