Built in 2022, this peaceful retreat, is filled with many modern amenities. The large fully stocked kitchen features an induction cooktop, two ovens, microwave and large island for meal preparation and gatherings. Spa bathroom offers large open shower with two shower heads, heated stone floor, heated towel rack and large vanity. Separate infrared sauna provides therapeutic relaxation. Bedroom 1 offers a king bed, adjustable height desk and chair, and cedar lined closet. Bedroom 2 contains two twin adjustable beds, large TV and cedar lined closet. The living room features wood burning stove, two ergonomic reclining chairs and ottomans, two sofas and large TV. Windows surround every room, providing plenty of natural light. Central air-conditioning/heat and ceiling fans provide the perfect temperature and unit contains full-size washer and dryer. Large wrap around deck offers stunning views and makes the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

Overnight Stay

Fiona is an excellent host. My partner and I needed a night away and this home was perfect. The fireplace was extra cozy and the sauna was an added bonus. A variety of coffee and tea provided. My dog enjoyed the walking trails. We'd love to stay again in the future!

Beautiful guest house in lovely location

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house and can't wait to return. I've rarely seen such wonderful design in a house, let alone a property on VRBO. Everything was incredibly high quality. Fiona was across the way in the main house and was so helpful. My kiddos loved playing on the lawn and running through the beautiful property. We only live 45 minutes away but this felt like a real vacation.

Great stay!

There were so many great amenities included with this stay. A very modern, energy efficient and health conscious guest house. Our favorite parts were the wood-burning stove, wrap around deck, fully stocked, high-end kitchen, heated towel rack and bathroom floor, and a very remote location. A small-town getaway within an hour's drive of downtown Boston.

Amazing Cottage

This cottage exceeded our expectations. So many wonderful amenities. The property is gorgeous. Our dog loved walking on the trails and hanging out on the porch. Fiona was a wonderful and kind host as well.

Architect's Haven

This is one of the most memorably beautiful rentals in our experience. The natural setting, the friendly host, the amenities in the kitchen and bath--it is a truly impressive and beauiful property. We wish we had noticed on the listing that the king bed was a pullout as my husband and I had a hard time getting comfortable, although it is likely the best quality you can get from a pullout and we are sensitive sleepers. Fiona was kind to confirm ahead that the sheets are 100% cotton which I appreciate. Aside from the mattress, everything was *chef's kiss* splendid and we would stay again (but put our teens in the room with the pullout and take the twin "real" beds for ourselves). Thank you, Fiona!

Idyllic location/Beautiful home

Amazing property. Surrounded by fields, flowers, wildlife. Just gorgeous. We had everything we needed for our stay. Fiona is a wonderful host. My two dogs loved walking the paths throughout the property. If travel brings us back to the area, I will definitely rebook.

We highly recommend Fiona’s property and would love to stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Fiona’s home. The house is not only beautifully designed but also very comfortable, with everything we needed to feel at home. From the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy living spaces, every detail was thoughtfully planned. The large deck became our favorite spot to enjoy morning coffee with stunning views of the surrounding nature. Fiona was a wonderful host, offering clear communication and making sure our stay was as smooth as possible. We even left some small gifts as a token of our appreciation because we truly enjoyed our time there. The house was a perfect stop during our trip from dropping our daughter off at Dartmouth to heading back to Boston for our flight to Tokyo. We highly recommend Fiona’s property and would love to stay here again on our next visit to the Boston area!

Had a great experience during our 2 weeks at this residence. Gorgeous contemporary always filled with sunlight. Complete privacy but Fiona was super responsive if you need anything. Recommend highly!!

Great Retreat, Super Host

Stayed two nights to attend a nearby sports tournament. Loved the serenity of the grounds of the property and the top spec build of the house. The host is incredibly warm and you can tell that she has put her heart into the property. Wished we could have stayed longer on this trip!

Modern, well designed guest home on beautiful property

This guest home was perfect for our trip to the area. The home is quite new with top of the line features and appliances. Very clean. My husband and I stayed here with our small dog, and the home was perfect for our visit. Fiona was very responsive, but also respected our privacy. We enjoyed staying in this lovely home.

Beautiful property for a peaceful stay!

My wife and I were in town for a family event and some business meetings. We were so happy to find this lovely home for our stay. The home is beyond clean and overall comfortable. You can tell the owner Fiona put a lot of thought and time making this a great rental. The appliances were top of the line, heated floors in the bathroom, and all the sheets and towels were so clean. Communication with Fiona was easy and she made us feel welcome. The only thing to note is two of the beds are singles and the other bed is a pull-out couch. Would have been nice to have at least a real queen bed. But the single beds were very comfortable with adjustable head and feet. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Modern design, beautiful location

The photos don’t do it justice. This is a high quality, new home in excellent condition. The location is in a subdivision in a rural area with nicer homes. The home is sited on a hill with natural landscaping and has a beautiful deck.

Super clean, zen-like property!

I was drawn to this home’s photos. Staying here was an enjoyable change from staying at a hotel. When I arrived, Fiona provided a warm welcome, quick tour and introduction to the home’s features. Some highlights were: Norwegian furniture, high end kitchen appliances, large smart TVs, sauna and electric bending beds! The bathroom had its own digital temperature control for a warmer, cozier feeling - particularly when stepping out the shower. The shower was wall-less and had two rain-shower shower heads - one fixed and one moveable. It had high end shampoo and bath soaps. There was a towel warmer and well stocked drawers under the sink. The toilet made biology breaks quite an experience (!) - starting with a toilet seat lid that automatically opened on approach, followed by a heated seat (!), automatic flusher and night lighting. Speaking of lighting, the home’s interior and exterior lighting, dimmers and wall switches were all top notch. …The wind and rain prevented me from enjoying the back deck and surrounded nature; but please know the setting is particularly peaceful and pretty - even in what can sometimes be the dreary month of January. -and when I get home. I plan to buy a leather zero gravity recliner with ottoman - JUST like the two Ekornes at this home!

Zen weekend

short getaway for friends 65 bday. snow tubing at Nashoba Valley tubing 15 min away. Vineyard 15 min away although we didn't go, yoga each day, trails nearby, beautiful views, loved the infrared sauna, heated everything in bathroom! high end furnishings, appliances, etc. such a peaceful place. host was so accommodating! Thank you Fiona!

Perfection

The house was just amazing. Appliances were beyond up-to-date. Furniture was not only functional, but extremely comfortable. Every detail made for a lovely time. Fiona was a wonderful host. We would love to visit again next year!

I love going for a run every morning, right here on the private track around the property. Premier hiking trails are but a step away. I love connecting with nature and think about things - winter, spring, summer and fall - in a quiet comfy sunlit room with a hot cup of tea. I'm a quiet attentive person and enjoy getting to know my guests.

The guest house is sunny and warm with a fully equipped kitchen, a wood stove, two large Google TV sets with a complete choice of content to watch, Internet and Wi-Fi and all the comforts of home. The house is wheel-chair compatible. Being commited to health, we put in an infrared sauna and use only non-toxic cleaning products. You will have access to the outdoor walking/running path, hiking trails and beautiful landscaping. It's a peaceful place with a caring an welcomming host. We are on a secluded island of beautiful nature and at the same time close to shops, restaurants and movie theatres. It's a dream house.
