The first night my husband was bitten by a spider on the bed .. they were millions of ants dead and a live all around the floor… we couldn’t leave nothing on the floor. Second night I woke up to go toilet, there was a second spider hanging just over my head…3:00 am latter in the morning I was laying on the bed drinking a cup of coffee… another baby spider crawled in front of me like, this is my place..! Plus including a Train that passed every 30 minutes and blowing the horn very loudly..!

Ana, we are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. The Texas Yurts are a glamping experience as advertised. When staying in a yurt on a rural 20 acres you can expect to see some critters. We very regularly have the property professionally treated by pest control. That being said summer in south Texas brings the bugs and no matter how much you treat they will still be present. Great R&R option.

Really enjoyed this location. Far enough to feel secluded and peaceful but very quick drive into Gruene. Highly recommend

Everything was comfortable and clean. The coffee maker didn't work and the wifi did not connect. We attempted to get resolution from the managing company but never heard back about either. These issues would not prevent me from staying here again or recommending this property to others. There was also an issue with the door lock that was addressed very quickly. The bathroom was great. It was roomy and had a nice walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the covered deck.

Hello Ken! Sorry to hear you had trouble with the Wifi and coffee maker. We did replace the coffee maker. Wifi in this rural area can be spotty so it is never guaranteed. Romantic Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the very start of the booking process to checking out everything was great. Communication with the management company was great and they were always available for any questions. The property was easy to locate and very clean. A great setup with plenty of privacy. Location was amazing. While it did provide privacy and a secluded experience it was also very close to town (only about a 7 minute drive). We will definitely be coming to stay again.

Yurt Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The management and the property itself were really great. We really enjoyed the Yurt and its proximity to Gruene was fantastic. The trains ran ALL NIGHT long and blasted their horns for 20-30 minutes at a time and were very hard to "block out" even with the supplied ear plugs. Its worth staying there but be wary if you are a light sleeper you wont be able to do to the trains.

Great location but needs repair

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A/C did not work the first day. After getting maintenence out to property the a/c limped along and it was hot during the day and only cooled off at night.

Joseph, we apologize for the inconvenience with the AC. We got HVAC out as soon as we were notified. Unfortunately with the record breaking high temperatures even a proper functioning AC has trouble keeping up. We hope you will give us another chance in the future! Thanks NBE

A cozy and private getaway near New Braunfels

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check-in was super smooth, and the property felt peaceful and private. The yurts are nicely spaced out and a great size. We especially loved the cozy patio and getting to see wildlife right outside. It really felt like a hotel stay, just with more charm, more privacy, and way better views.I tend to get hot easily, but even with the heat and humidity, the yurt stayed cool and comfy the entire time, which was such a relief.We did see a few bugs that seem to get in through the overhead window, but way fewer than expected for being so close to nature.The only real downside was that some of the linens (pillow and sheets) and the indoor chair had very visible stains. The gray throw pillows also had a lot of fur on them, and something had dried on the toilet lid. I’m big on cleanliness when I travel, so that was a bit disappointing. That said, the bedding itself was comfortable.The remote for the patio lights wasn’t working, but we were able to just plug them in manually. One of the bathroom lights above the mirror was also out.If I had a few suggestions: • Double-check the bedding and seating between guests • Replace any burnt-out bulbs • Add another mirror (maybe above the bed or a small vanity-style one) so someone can get ready privately if the bathroom is in use • A few hangers and standard trash bags would be a nice touch tooOverall though, it was such a sweet, relaxing stay in a beautiful area. We’d absolutely come back again.
