1 Queen, 1 Small Twin Futon/Sofa. Along with a kitchenette including mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot.

Right off of lake Dunlap/Guadalupe River. A gorgeous rustic cabin perfect for personal trips and couples getaways! There is a pool on the same property just up from the house by the tree houses as well as a hot tub. The house has direct river access for swimming, fishing, and water recreational activities like kayaking or boating. There is a boat ramp on the property as well. Next to Lakeside suite is a farm house called the bamboo house. If needed you can rent that along with lakeside to sleep a total of 12! Lakeside suite has a car port that fits two, you will see the backside of the house when you pull in to park.

The hospitality was excellent. The peace and quiet and the wildlife, the giant oak trees, the water was beautiful, fishing was exciting and relaxing all at the same time. Very pet friendly.

PERFECT! This cute lakeside cabin was peacefully rejuvenating. There was a huge perk we had no idea about. If you want privacy, this is the place!! Only downfall was we didnt stay longer. Clear Spring Restaurant was less than 10 mins down the road and delicious.

We stayed the weekend and had a relaxing time.The cabin was cozy and the view was beautiful!Just feet away from the river where we enjoyed a day of fishin…Tom the host was great with communication and prompt to awnser any questions we had…We look forward to coming back.

My stay was a little different as I was there in the area to help with a fundraiser. It was a long hot Saturday getting set up and ready for Sunday. I was so glad to finally get to the cabin at around 8:30. I got inside and the AC was already on and set at a comfortable temperature. The shower was great, perfect water pressure and a nice shower head, I almost didn't get out. I got to bed and that was extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby. I actually slept through my alarm it was so peaceful out there. Woke to chirping birds, beautiful view of big trees and the river.Tom was very kind and I will stay here again!!!Highly recommend for a lovely couples get away.

My wife and I really enjoyed it, and are already planning our next stay. Other than the Netflix not being available, and being limited to just a few channels, it couldn't have been better. And quite honestly, we need to be outside anyway. We would stay again, and look forward to doing so.

Host was very welcoming! Very nice for couples. Back yard leads up to the lake and very peaceful. Rustic feel to the location which is what we were looking for. I highly recommend it if looking for a place to get away and do some fishing or just relax outside and enjoy the view.

Lake Dunlap

The stay was perfect! The resort on the hill made it so perfect and personal. We LOVED it so much!!! The Lake side suite was perfect for our small family and we felt like we were at home and safe the gated entry was a plus we really liked! No strangers in and out of the property.

Unique property on the water

The property is tucked in off a small side road but very close all that Braunfels has to offer and only about an hour from the Austen airport. The host was terrific and able to accommodate our requests. We had a great time and will be back.
