This was our 5th stay at this wonderful Big Bass Lake home, its the perfect location for our family of 6. Chuck was a great host as usual, the house was spotless and well appointed. We're looking forward to staying here again soon!

Just a great overall 2 week stay!!!! This property was everything you could ask for if you want to enjoy the Pocono area. The house was very clean and was just as described in the listing. Communication with the owner Chuck was as good as it gets, he answered all questions as fast as possible and had a real knowledge of the area. Check-in went smooth for us and all our guests as we did file all the paper work with the owner beforehand. We were lucky enough to have many visits from the area's wildlife, lots of deer and wild turkeys. In my opinion a 5 star stay in all the right ways. You will enjoy this property!!!!!

This is our second stay at this home. It’s excellent for our annual family long weekend with 5 adults and 5 kids. The bedroom situation is perfect with lots of available sleeping space. The game room gets used daily by every member of our group and there are both indoor and outdoor games to choose from. The community is beautiful, quiet and walkable. Every morning we had our coffee on the front deck while deer grazed right in front of us. Finally, the host was very accommodating and flexible. Excellent and quick communication any time I had a question.

This was our 4th stay at Bree–Z– Bear Lodge. It’s perfect for our group of 6 adults. It’s spacious enough that we can all be together in one place which we love. Chuck is a great host, the house is always prepared thoughtfully for us. We love the location and the community in general. We have been visiting Big Bass Lake for over 25 years, it’s a very chill type of vacation. We are planning to visit this house twice a year from now on!

Great place

Great place. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect setup for our group of 12. Basement game room was a blast. Very kid and adult friendly.

Wonderful house and host! Perfect for our needs. This was the second time we stayed there and we plan on returning. Chuck was very attentive and responsive. He even left sleds for us when we found out it might snow. Both years we stayed it was snowing and individuals came to shovel us out. Highly recommend!

Great house for everyone

House well exceeded our expectations. Plenty of beds. All kinds of games to occupy everyone. We Would definitely go back.

Exceeded expectations

We absolutely loved this home, so many little extras provided. A lot of activities available for all ages. It was so clean and so beautiful! 10/10

Great for family and friends

The house was perfect for our group of 12 ( 6 adults/ 6 kids). Lots to do at the house to keep us busy and plenty of room to spread out. Everything was very clean and it was nice to have all bedding and towels provided. Property owner was fantastic with communication and answering questions. The indoor pool at the recreation center was an added bonus! We've talked about doing our trip again next year so we may be back!

We keep coming back!!

This was our 3rd stay in this home. It meets our needs perfectly. We are a group of 6 adults and want to be together during our stay. This home has large enough spaces for us all to be comfortable. Our favorite things in the house are the pool table (which gets a lot of use) and the 6 rocking chairs on the front porch. The house is clean and well equipped. It’s a great place to gather. We plan to return again.

Loved it!!

We loved our stay at this home so much that we’ve reserved it again for the spring! The house was clean and inviting, it was even nicer than the pictures led us to believe. It was great for our group of 6 adults and located in a really quiet section of the Big Bass Lake development. The game room was super fun and there is even a corn hole game to play outdoors. We spent a lovely evening gathered around the fire pit making smores. The owner was also very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this house!!

Perfect house for large family

We loved this house. We appreciated having the water and coffee when we arrived and the kitchen was well stocked which was perfect for home cooked meals. We also had great burgers and tenders at nearby Lombardi’s. Lots of room for our family of 10 and the game room was a huge hit. It was so nice sitting on the porch watching the deer. Thank you Chuck for responding to my questions so quickly. Great communication and a beautiful, spacious, clean home. Definitely recommend.

We keep coming back - it's so nice!!

We just returned from our 2nd stay in this home. It’s perfect for our group of 6 adults, I especially appreciate that the common rooms are large enough for us all to be together on comfy furniture. We had a lot of fun playing cornhole, pool, foosball and air hockey. There’s even a nice sized table for us to do jigsaw puzzles in the upstairs porch. We loved sitting together on the downstairs porch on rocking chairs!! So many rocking chairs – it’s wonderful!! The house was very clean and the host is super responsive and helpful. We are going back again this summer. It’s a great house for us.

Wonderful Pocono House!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this house. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to any questions. Check-in was easy. The house was very spacious and had plenty of room for my extended family of 9 people. With 2 floors and 5 bedrooms, one family could mainly be on the top floor and the other family on the bottom floor. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was great and had all we needed to prepare all our meals. There were even baking dishes and sharp kitchen knives!The game room was very fun with a pool table, air hockey and foosball, as well as board games. Our favorite thing was the fire pit outside! There was wood provided and 12 chairs, so there was room for all to enjoy the beautiful quiet evenings! The Big Bass Lake community is really nice with 2 lakes and a pool. They even have weekly activities like Bingo night and an ice cream social.We would definitely come back!

If I could give *10 stars* I would. The house was immaculate and just as described. The location and community was quiet and a convenient base for many activities in the Poconos. While this is a very niche comment- as a serious griller- the immaculate high end Weber grill was one of the cleanest I have every seen in a rental property (most rentals have some small off-brand grill that hasn't been cleaned in years). The kitchen came fully stocked with K-cups, supplies for smores and a large supply of bottled water. But the biggest strength is the owner Charles and I cannot say enough good things about him. Very communicative, accommodating and professional. In fact, as I was writing this review- my son had left a bonsai tree at the house (long story)- Charles just texted me and offered to bring it back (we leave about 30 min away from each other) so I can pick it up. I've never had a rental property owner volunteer to go above and beyond like that. So please, rent this house, I cannot say enough good things about it and Charles.The only things (and this is not a negative, just FYI for potential renters) due to bears and animals- trash and recycling does need to be dumped at a trash compactor at the main gate- so be aware that you will be putting your trash into your car and driving it about 6 min to the main gate at the end of your stay. I just didn't realize this until the day before we moved out. Thanks for a great stay!!!!
