Bright 2 Bdrm Waterfront Cottage on Georgian Bay

Beautiful 2 bedroom Cottage on Georgian Bay! Located in a quiet area with a private beach! In the summer the lake is perfect for swimming! In the winter, curl up by the indoor fireplace and look at the beautiful snow on the lake! In the evening hang out by the outdoor fire pit, roast marshmallows and view the stars! It is the perfect place for a summer, or winter getaway!

This space is unique as it has it`s own private beach but is also perfectly situated next to Magnus Beach which is another beautiful place to enjoy the sun and the sand! In the winter, you can access multiple cross country ski trails, go snow shoeing or hit one of the ski hills nearby!

The cottage is complete with a full kitchen, 1 bathroom and 2 bedrooms (master bedroom with a queen bed, other bedroom has a double bed). Wifi (with a chromecast to the TV), Satellite TV and a DVD player are available. A full deck which provides spectacular views to watch the sunset. Board games are also available. Kitchen is equipped with a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and other small kitchen appliances. A bbq is available, as well as a fire pit by the lake.

This kit is meant to get you started. Once these items run out, guests are responsible for replenishing them as needed.

🐾 Pet Policy

One well-behaved dog is welcome, but must be added to your reservation and approved in advance.
Our pet policy is as follows:

Pets are NOT permitted on any beds. Our linens are white, and we work hard to keep them in excellent condition.

If you wish to have your pet on the bed with you, please bring your own bedding.

Pets must never be left unattended, indoors or outdoors.

Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside.

Any damage caused by your pet is the owner’s full responsibility, and repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.

Please ensure your pet does not bark excessively or disturb neighbours.

You must clean up after your pet in the yard.

Please note, some walls in the cottage do not go all the way to the ceiling. Therefore, sound does travel between rooms.

Water equipment is to be used at your own risk.

You will have full access to the entire cottage, lawn, beach and kayak (kayak is available in summer months only). Please use kayak responsibly. The bunkie is not winterized and is therefore not available for fall/winter months. Situated on the outskirts of Port McNicoll, the neighbourhood consists of mainly cottages. It is a very quiet neighbourhood with little noise or disturbances. The cottage is about a 10 minute drive from all the local grocery stores and shopping centres.

There is no public transportation in this area but there are several Midland taxi services that can be used.

The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any given time is 4. Please do not bring any additional guests during your stay. Our septic system doesn`t allow it. Should it be found that there are more than 4 people on the property you will be charged extra and may be asked to leave.

The tap water is not drinkable, however we will provide a water dispenser with water for you to drink.

Absolutely no parties allowed. Out of respect for the neighbours please keep noise to a minimum between 10pm-8am daily.

Any watercraft onsite is to be used at your own discretion. We will not be held liable for any incidents resulting in the use of onsite water equipment. It is the user`s responsibility to be aware of weather conditions, watercraft rules and any local laws associated with the use of the equipment.

Please make yourself familiar with fire burning / firework bylaws in our area. Information can be found on the Tay Township website.

Payment is due at the time of booking. Confirmed guests will receive a link to our guest portal to sign our rental agreement and view booking details (including payments and receipts).
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
100% Refund: For cancellations made 30 days or more before the check-in date.
50% Refund: For cancellations made between 15 and 29 days before the check-in date.
No Refund: For cancellations made 14 days or fewer before the check-in date.

A $500 security hold will be placed on the guest’s credit card 3 days prior to check-in. This is a pre-authorization only and no funds will be charged unless damage or excessive cleaning is identified after check-out.
- Please keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm
-Maximum of 4 people are allowed on the property at any given time. Should it be found that there are more than 4 people on the property you will be asked to leave without a refund. You will also be charged for the extra guests.

Pets are permitted as long as they are added to the booking. Pets are NOT permitted on any of the beds. If you do wish to have your pet on the beds then we request that you bring your own bedding (ours are white and we`d like to keep them that way) so that our linens don`t get stained or accumulate dog hair. Please ensure your pet is watched at all times and does not damage anything or cause a disturbance to the neighbours. Please pick up after your pet on the lawn as well.

For guests travelling with infants: we have a highchair and pack n play available along with a few children`s toys and books
