Great couples retreat

Six couples stayed in the house extremely comfortably. The pool area was fantastic. We enjoyed utilizing the tennis and Pickleball courts and it was conveniently located close to the wineries we wanted to visit. Highly recommend the property and the owners.

Our extended family (3 generations) had an absolutely amazing time staying at this property. The house and kitchen were thoroughly and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need to enjoy ourselves: spices, cooking utensils, blankets, outdoor heaters, and tennis/pickleball equipment to name a few. We got hours of enjoyment out of the pool and tennis court and even did sunset yoga on the deck of the little house. Communication with the host and check in/check out processes were seamless. Highly recommend this beautiful property.

This amazing house in Calistoga was a fabulous spot for our family getaway weekend. We had ages 2-62 and everyone found something they loved from the tennis court to the pool to the comfortable settings inside and outside on the 2 patios!! The kitchen and dining table were beautifully equipped for our family meals. And the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Napa valley!!

60th Birthday with friends

5 couples stayed and played in this amazing house. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed to prepare and cook fantastic meals. This place is amazing!

10/10 best rental home stay I’ve had

The property is HUGE and everything is so well kept. The landscape is stunning with lots of wildlife and is tranquil with no neighbors in site. The house is well equipped with a fancy built in coffee maker and all cooking and entertaining supplies you need. Would stay again 100% and recommend highly to others

An Unforgettable Family Getaway! We recently hosted our entire family of 16 at this incredible Calistoga property, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Finding a space that comfortably accommodates a large group while still feeling private and relaxing can be a challenge, but this property nailed it.Everyone had plenty of space to stretch out and feel completely at home. The layout was perfect, especially with the second attached guest house, which provided a wonderful balance of together-time and a little extra privacy when needed.The amenities kept everyone entertained and happy, but the absolute highlight for us was the beautiful pool area. It quickly became our favorite gathering spot to relax, laugh, and enjoy the beautiful weather. Every detail of the home felt thoughtful and welcoming.If you are looking for a spectacular, comfortable, and amenity-rich property to host a family gathering in wine country, this is it. We had an amazing time and created memories here that we will cherish forever. Thank you!

Thanksgiving getaway with a family of 17. The house accommodated everyone with their own bedroom/bathroom. The kitchen, dining, and living/great room were spacious (photos do not do them justice). The kitchen was stocked with every appliance/amenity we needed and then some. The property grounds were beautiful, we enjoyed our visiting guests (deer) every morning and evening. The Modista was perfectly situated on the property with it's own privacy but yet just a football field away from the main house. We look forward to returning to this lovely estate again.

Family gathering

Property was great, perfect for a large gathering. Some maintenance issues and listing issues kept this from being a five star review, but I am sure that they will all be resolved. Well equipped kitchen. Maybe a croquet set and workout equipment would take it over the top!

calistoga getaway

beautiful home and property but needs some maintenance to repair some minor issues. we were told there was a large party the week prior and the damage we we experienced was caused then. the management company was very responsive and dealt with the most impactful issues in a timely manner. note, there is no ping pong table in the house, even though it is listed as an amenity. overall we had a great time, enjoyed the property and would definitely rent again.

Perfect place for Leadership Retreat

Such a beautiful property in a tranquil setting, Everyone had their own bed and bathroom. We stayed in and cooked. The kitchen had everything we needed. Mad for such a fun team event.

Beautiful House, Challenging Location and Questionable Charges

This was a beautiful house for a large group to spread out and enjoy their mornings and evenings while visiting the Napa/Sonoma region. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and super helpful housekeepers that helped us with an emergency ride into town. The three reasons I did not give the property 5 stars - we were falsely accused of breaking a remote control and charged $700 (the remote worked when we were there, hot tub didn't but that wasn't taken into consideration), the location makes it difficult to get around without your own car as there are literally no Uber drivers, and finally, there was no cellular service.

Incredible Trip

We had a group of 6 couples. Our trip to Wine Country was incredible, the Ranch at Mayastoga was the perfect place to rest and recharge for our days out at the winery. We utilized the conceirge service and had a chef prepare dinner once evening. The grounds were beautiful, clean and all amenities were top notch. We will definitely recommend the property and be back! Arthur communicated quickly with us from booking through our departure.

Arthur's place in Calistoga exceeded our expectations in every way. It's spectacular in every way. Arthur was easy to reach and quick to respond to any query that we had. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Family getaway in Wine Country

Wonderful house n a beautiful setting. Close to Calistoga but surrounded by natural beauty. Manager, Arthur, is nearby and very helpful. The house is extremely well appointed. Six bedrooms and six bathrooms with spacious common areas, inside and out. Pool and lawns invite outdoor recreation. I will return.

Thanksgiving in Napa

We spent a week celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday and Thanksgiving. The house was a great place for multiple families to hang together. Lynn helped with most meals and winery reservations! Arthur was a great host! Hope to return soon!!!

Tremendous property. Tremendous Service.

Our stay at Mayastoga Ranch was superb. There were 6 couples and we had a blast. The home and property could not have been better suited for us. Great bedrooms, great living space, terrific kitchen and ideal outdoor space. Arthur was super responsive (especially during fire threats) and a great host. We will return to this property for sure.

Five star property, five star host.

This is a 5 star property - one of the best we've experienced. From the very well appointed kitchen, to the comfortable bedding, to the well maintained grounds we can't find any fault with our stay. The home is perfect for entertaining a large group with plenty of open spaces for gathering and smaller nooks to get away from the group and relax. Arthur was a very responsive and accommodating host. We felt like honored guests. I highly recommend Heidi West catering for a delicious catered meal. Safeway delivered groceries upon our arrival - a great way to stock the home without having to shop.

No power-no problem at mayastoga ranch!

Arthur is a true gem! Worked diligently to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable- despite PSEG power outages! He was proactive with communicating the issues and his generators were a true blessing! Home itself is spacious and incredibly well stocked!!! A very special and memorable Calistoga stay!

Last week’s PG&E blackouts impacted close to 1 million Northern Californians and has now resulted in our receiving our first ever non-5-Star rating. We do have generators installed at all our properties and work diligently to maintain full services (power, water, phone, internet) during these rare times.
