This is one of the most beautiful homes we've ever stayed in. It is huge with a lot of high end appliances and furnishings. The host was very responsive to a minor issue our 1st full day and sent someone right out. The view of the ocean is fantastic. Yes the 200 steps were long, but it was worth it. Do bring boots to get through tide pools. Shelling is limited, but I did find really nice driftwood which I mailed home to us (no room in suitcase). Sunsets were different every night. Even the fog moving in was fascinating. Do be aware that there is no washer and dryer available for renters, but there is a laundromat in Brookings. We enjoyed going into California and seeing the Redwood forest and hiking through it. Chetco Point Park in Brookings is definitely worth the visit. Beautiful area - lots to see.

View is outstanding! The space is comfortable and roomy. The bed took some time to adjust (air adjusted for comfort level, sleep number), and the house took a while to warm up. Otherwise very nice space and would definitely recommend it, and I would return for another stay.

Great rainy day weekend! We loved the close access to Harris State Park and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The house was so cozy and the ocean views are incredible.

Lovely home that is very comfortable. Views are stunning. Traveling with friends we had everything we needed to cook breakfast. Would highly recommend.

The view of the ocean was beautiful. I’m sure it helped we had some bright sunny days along with a day of rain. The outside deck was nice because it is covered allowing us to sit out in the light rain. Great access to the beach. Kitchen was terrific for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. The overall atmosphere was cozy and comfortable.

Wished we could have stayed longer!

The house was exceptional and the views of Harris beach are stunning! The staircase to the ocean was well done and made it easy to access the beach. There's so much to do in the area and we'd love to come back and stay here again.

This is a 2 unit property (we rented the lower level - unit A). This property is right on Chetco Avenue so there is some road noise. There is a gated entrance that you must code into and out of each time, parking is in the driveway inside. Entrance to the unit was a little awkward with another code and then a code to the lockbox to get a key that you only use for a side door. The front door can be used but only to leave. The electronic cook top took us a few tries to figure out, thank you google. Putting all of this aside, this property has the most fantastic view from every room in the house. The ocean view. outdoor seating area off of the primary BR is a tranquil retreat that you don't want to leave. There is also an enclosed Zen garden on the opposite side of the home, off the dining room. Everything was updated, clean, with higher ceilings and all of the amenities one would need. Direct beach access (I counted 198 steps). Anyway, we would absolutely stay again.

Fishing trip

Came over to the coast to get out of the heat and do some fishing! The seas were rough! Fishing was good. The Accommodations were the best! Really nice place! The view was epic. Nice kitchen, nice bedrooms. I will definitely stay here again!

Amazing view and location

This place was everything and more than advertised. The view to the ocean was amazing out the front window and the location was great. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were 7/10 and house was a great layout with lots of room for 2 adult couples. We walked to Harris beach on the nearby walking paths and was able to follow the beach back to the 200 step stair case and come straight up the deck of our place.
