Unwind at Hillside Getaway, a spacious, updated one-bedroom condo with beautiful panoramic views of St. Thomas’ Northside hills and Magens Bay. Located in the private, gated community of Mahogany Run, this 800-square-foot retreat offers comfortable updated furnishings, a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and private balcony, and a walk-in shower.

Enjoy a roomy living area, fully equipped kitchen, split A/C unit, complimentary Wi-Fi, and easy walking access to the community pool. And when you're ready for the beach, beautiful Magens Bay is just a five-minute drive away.

We also provide our own St. Thomas travel guide with favorite restaurants, beaches, excursions, and local tips to help you make the most of your stay.

Please note: Mahogany Run’s former golf course and on-site restaurant remain closed following the 2017 hurricanes.

Guests will be fully set up with all the essentials - kitchen cookware and dishes, towels and linens, soaps and shampoos, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella, and even a yeti-style cooler to use for your outings. We absolutely loved our stay in St. Thomas! The condo was beautiful, comfortable, in a gated community, and conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. We especially loved being just down the hill from our favorite beach, Magens Bay, which made it so easy to enjoy the beach and explore the island. After having a day of fun in the sun, that bed was so comfortable to just fall into. Our host was absolutely wonderful and made the entire process so easy and seamless from start to finish. Very responsive if and when we had any questions. They provide a booklet of information that gives you everything you would need to know including recommendations for restaurants, shopping, bars, nightlife, car rental, and grocery stores. They even provided all of the information you would need for traveling over to St. John for the day. We truly appreciated how welcoming and accommodating they were. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and we will definitely be staying here again. We highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting St. Thomas! Thank you Jennifer & Richard!

This place was great. In a gated community, this place had a large double balcony where we both enjoyed our breakfast before heading down the road for 5 minutes to Megan’s Beach. Property was also large and provided everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Lastly, Rich was very responsive, which we appreciated.

The home was beautiful and very clean. Richard’s communication was outstanding from the moment of booking through arrival—he was responsive, clear, and welcoming. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful condo! It was spotless and truly felt like a home away from home. Everything appeared fresh, modern, and very well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and the views were absolutely stunning. Rich was an exceptional host—very attentive, communicative, and full of helpful recommendations. He checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend both the condo and the host!

Great condo with wonderful hillside views!

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was well stocked, bed was comfortable, bath towels were amazing and the view was wonderful. The condo was inside a safe and quiet gated community and close to Magens Bay which we enjoyed a lot.

Beautifully Appointed in a Great Location

We loved the wood floors and furnishings. Most importantly the hosts were completely responsive and went out of their way for us. We would stay there again.

Beautiful View!

Still dreaming of that view! The home was stylish and the bed and couch were comfy. We loved being able to borrow the chairs, umbrellas, and ice chest! It was a very quiet and lovely neighborhood and a good, central location. Also, the hosts were wonderful! 5/5!

From the outset, I could tell Richard was going to be a great host and that we’d be pleased with the property. He asked thoughtful questions prior to accepting our booking and was accessible and accommodating throughout our entire stay.This was our fourth visit to St. Thomas, so we have a solid sense of what to expect from short-term rentals on the island — and this one exceeded expectations. The condition and outfitting of the unit were outstanding. We cooked most of our meals in, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed.The internet was reliable, the TVs worked flawlessly, and the AC kept the unit consistently cool and dry — something we’ve found can be hit-or-miss on the island. The property has been nicely updated, was exceptionally clean upon arrival, and was stocked with plenty of towels and essential supplies.The beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella were a fantastic touch and very much appreciated. In fact, someone even complimented me on “my nice cooler” one day at the beach — which says it all.We would absolutely stay here again.

Nice location

Nice quiet area, close walk to the pool. Close drive to Magens Bay. Easy access to parking spot. Furnishings were updated. It worked well for our needs. Only downside was the lack of a washing machine. There was a dryer available but it appeared the wash machine had been removed and not replaced yet.

Condo was very nice!

We enjoyed our stay at Hillside Getaway, the condo was clean and well stocked with towels, sheets, cookware and toiletry items. It has a hill view, limited view of the ocean, but still a nice view to enjoy our breakfasts and occasional dinner. The beach chairs and umbrellas were a nice amenity to our stay. We had the power go twice during our stay, both times for about 2.5 hours each. Richard our host was very good on communicating to us on expected outage situations. Richard also was easy to get a hold of prior to visiting and provided very good information on check in and condo details. It is a gated community, and we liked the easy access process to enter and exit the grounds.

Charles, Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it's true that St. Thomas and St. John can have periodic power outages. At times, we go months without being impacted at all. Other times, WAPA will have power rotations. It's very difficult to predict, but thankfully it seems to impact other parts of the island more so than Mahogany Run. Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our time in St. Thomas! The condo was spacious for the two of us. The Littles were great hosts and communicated everything we needed. We appreciated the travel guide they provided. The condo has a good amount of wear and tear in the kitchen and the fridge lining above the crisper drawers was badly stained and dirty. The overall feel of the condo was that it could be cleaner. It also would have been nice to have more towels and washcloths as well as hooks in the bathroom. The community pool that was advertised was not existent. The pool was empty and in bad shape, clearly out of service. We spent most of our time out and about so it worked for the time we were there but a few improvements would have made a more comfortable stay.

Alyssa. Thank you for your feedback. We're sad to hear that Hillside did not fully meet your needs, but we are confused by the feedback. Our fridge is new. It would be odd to have any stains and we haven’t had this feedback from others, but please know that we will certainly check with our cleaning crew. We’ve never had a request for more towels, but we could have had more delivered very easily. The Sanderling pool that is within walking distance of the condo is fully operational, and the condo association recently added new chairs and loungers. Unfortunately, it sounds as though you went to the other pool in Golf Village that has been closed since the 2017 hurricanes. We wish you would have contacted us during your stay for any additional clarification, needs, or questions. We are always happy to help our guests.

Perfect balanace of privacy and accessability

Richard was first to initiate contact and asked if we had any questions or concerns. Very respectfull and assistive. He provided resources and a very detailed travel tips book that we utilized throughout our stay (we concur with the reccomendations). We felt safe while on island as the property was inside of a restricted access community. Upon arrival the first thing that stood out was the view from the property. It overlooks the forested area below and provides view of world famous Magens Bay beach in the distance. We appreciated the condos arrangement. Large sliding glass doors (with screens to keep bugs and critters out) led to a extensive balconys with sitting areas from both the living room and bedroom area. There was plenty of space for the two of us. The kitchen had a full fridge and gas burning stove. Included for our use were table/cooking wear and an assortment of various kitchen utilsels wich we found helpful. The island can get hot at times but the condo had both ceiling fans and room AC units which kept us comftorable. We enjoyed the large shower in the bathroom with a great view. Once we began looking for activities, we quickly found out that from our loacation you can access almost anywhere on St Thomas in about 20 minutes which allowed us to fully explore in our time on island. Highly reccomended. We made the right choice; so glad we did not choose a hotel. Will book again.
