Located on Sugar Lake in Remer, MN this rustic getaway is about 150 miles north of the Twin Cities. This lakeside cabin is nestled in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest with forest land on two sides!
The property sits on 8 acres and has 220 of shoreline, a private beach and dock. The kitchen has granite counters, Stainless Steele appliances, gas cooktop and dishwasher.
The cabin was built in 2015 and has 2 bedroom and 2 full baths. Tongue and groove vaulted, cedar ceiling with Wagon Wheel chandelier! Private sandy beach with bench swing and large dock to swim and fish from. There is a public boat landing for Sugar Lake close by!
Sugar Lake is a 701 Acre lake with a maximum depth of approximately 55 feet. It is a very lightly populated lake, most of the Lakeshore is owned by the National Forest. Great fishing swimming, water skiing, conoeing etc. You can also go for a hike or hunt right in the back 8 acres of land!
Have a campfire and roast marshmallows at the stone firepit that is over 70 years old and was part of an Old Resort, The Candlelight Lodge, that once stood on this property.
