Start of a road trip

We stayed here in May for 3 nights while we relaxed and then explored Voyaguers National Park. The location is great, the house is as pictured and the fire pit was perfect in the evenings.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay that was filled with pontoon rides, swimming, bonfires, smores and playing games on the outdoor patio. The cabin is cozy and welcoming. The lake is beautiful and clear. We will be back!

Great Lake Getaway

We stayed up there in March and brought our dogs with us. It's a very cute little cabin with everything you need for quick getaway.

Relax and enjoy!

This little cabin is perfect for a relaxing getaway to beautiful Sugar Lake! The place is comfy and cozy, has everything you need, and the sunsets and lake views are amazing!!

Heaven with the fam on emerald green waters!

Sugar Lake is magical and Sugar Shore is cozy and adorable in every way. Ideal family vacation spot with a wonderful host who takes impeccable care of the property. This was my second time and I can't wait for #3!

Great spot!

Cozy cabin in a beautiful spot! The lake is fabulous! Great boating, grilling, campfire and games to play. It's also close to town and lots of good restaurants! Hosts were awesom and very accommodating. We will definitely be back!

This gem is everything it advertises and more. Lovely, responsive host and lovingly restored, maintained and furnished getaway on the most stunning Mediterranean-like lake I’ve ever seen! Can’t wait to go back!

Fall Bliss

Great cozy cabin. The back porch area is absolutely amazing. Plenty of roomto entertain and relax. The view of the lake would be unreal if a couple trees were cleared out. Fishing was tough due to weather but this would be a great summer vacation spot!!!

Wonderful!!

We stayed a the cabin over 4th of July and it was wonderful! The cabin had everything needed in order to feel like you had the comforts of home. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We rented the pontoon which we spent much of our time on. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for an up north experience.

June get away

What a wonderful property! We were amazed with not only the clarity of the lake but how quiet it was. It was a great family get away. The owners were wonderful to work with and very helpful and available when needed. The property was far enough from town to be able to unwind. This will definitely be on our list of places to return to.

Beautiful lake water, pretty nice setting and cabin. Bedrooms are small, but worked. Cabin was lacking some supplies but they were delivered next day. To be honest, I felt it was over priced for the overall quality of the place and items provided. Still, with a group of four adults, and four kids (1 to 11) over three nights, we had a good time.

Quiet & Cozy

We love sugar lake and were so excited when this cabin became available to rent. It was the perfect getaway for our family. The cabin had everything we needed for our trip and more. From the cabin to the lake, it was exactly what we were looking for - peaceful, roomy, and close to all things nature. Lewie got back to us quickly with any questions and was a great host. We would definitely stay again!

Fall getaway

Nice setting. Beautiful sunsets. Pretty lake. Great grill and fire pit. Kitchen was adequate. Good trails nearby. Heating worked well. All-in-all good place for a couple and their dogs to enjoy north country fall get away. Hosts were very responsive to any questions I had.

Northern Caribbean

Property was nice. Lake had the pretty color as advertised. Just too cold for us. We are beach people that tried something new.

Early September Vacay

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is just as described. We particularly enjoyed the porch for our meals and happy hours. We also spent a lot of time down at the dock as well as paddling. The water is clear and clean. We had an issue with the lock on one of the sliding doors which was fixed within an hour of our call to the owner. I highly recommend this cabin.
