Overall a great stay and pretty close to the University. Wish I would've had a heads up about a tenant being in the back living quarters.

Hi Tyler! Glad to hear you had a great stay with us! Just to confirm the guest in the garage is noted on the listing description on the VRBO website. "There is a shared driveway on this property, so please make sure to park on the dirt pad in the front yard or park directly behind the house. The driveway will need to be accessible to the guests in the garage unit."

The house is clean, has a comfortable living room and bedrooms. There is off street parking and the kitchen is large and equipped for cooking. We enjoyed our stay and it is very close to the university, shops, and restaurants.

The house was fine, nothing outstanding. Thrift store kitchen table and chairs. Clean. Beds were fine. So… someone lives in the garage-type building in the back. We met him when he knocked on the front door at 11:15pm, asking us to move our vehicle. The only reason I didn’t freak out is because I half listened to an acquaintance, about a hour prior, mention that she stayed here and said there was someone back there. In the grand scheme of things, it shouldn’t be a big deal. But when you rent a single family home, expecting privacy, it’s weird. I went back and read everything to see what I missed - nothing. No mention of this. No mention of where to park. So park in the dirt/mud in the front yard?

Nice location

We visited for our daughters sorority parents week and football. The house is located close to downtown and the stadium. The neighborhood is quiet. We parked the car for the weekend and walked or Ubered. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Athens.

Swim meet

Very nice updated cozy house. Great kitchen and features. A couple of miles from campus in an older neighborhood that is going through significant updates to old properties. Quiet.

Eclectic and comfortable

Clean, comfortable and convenient to downtown. Updated kitchen and bathroom with plenty of hot water. We were here for our daughter’s sorority parents weekend and it was an easy Uber to downtown. Lovely walking trails at Trail creek nearby. At one point during the weekend, The lock box code was not working, and we had an immediate response from the management with a new entry code. Lovely stay and will stay here again!

Perfect Place

My colleague and I enjoyed our stay during our time at our conference. I enjoyed the professional and warm atmosphere at the home, creating a comfortable "home away from home" experience. We loved the decor! The inviting ambiance made my stay memorable, and I highly recommend it for a pleasant stay. My favorite area was the living room that has two chairs with ottomans. It was like therapy! These chairs were heaven sent especially after a long day filled with workshops at the Classic Center (only minutes away). I would gladly rent this home again!

It’s about a mile walk to downtown Athens which I didn’t mind. It is an uphill walk coming back to the house. The landscaping needed some work and the apartment behind the house, but overall the house was quaint. Comfortable beds, shower worked but the bathroom was tight. Only room for 1 person at a time. I am a clean freak so the house was a little dusty, mainly the baseboards and horizontal areas like the shelving. Lighting was confusing in the living room as we could only get one light to work over the sofa. Overall the experience was a quaint 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage with updates and it served our purpose well - to visit Athens and go to the football game, experience downtown.

I tried reaching out to the property manager before posting a review, but didn’t receive a reply. The property looks as is described in the listing. We had a decent stay with a few complaints. The property appeared clean upon check in. The beds were comfortable enough. The four bath towels provided were musty. I just happened to have two beach towels in my car that we used. Sunday morning as we were preparing to check out we saw a huge roach in the kitchen. As stated, I emailed the property manager regarding the issues, but didn’t receive a reply. I understand things happen, but wanted to give an honest review.
