Lake View Adventure Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat

The Adventure Cabin at Bear Bluff Retreat is located on a wooded 20 acres above and overlooking Wright's Bend on Center Hill Lake near Rock Island State Park. The surrounding area is considered the waterfall mecca of Tennessee with more caves, waterfalls and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States.

This cabin features an adventure theme and provides a perfect launch for hiking, kayaking and other outdoor adventures. We have 3 cabins and 3 RV sites at Bear Bluff Retreat so that you can bring some friends & family by reserving what you need. Each cabin is ideal for a single, couple, or family with small children.

Perfect cozy cabin

You will love your stay in this beautiful wooden cozy cabin. The view is spectacular. Joann and Curt thought of everything you will need to have a comfortable stay and have stocked the cabin to accommodate you. They even leave a detailed binder with instructions to where to find things in the cabin to local trails, attractions and restaurants.

Sunset dinner

We had a great stay. One evening we made sure we were there at sunset and we were rewarded with a beautiful sunset while we were eating dinner on the deck. The house was very nice and the hosts provided us with what we needed

The Adventure Cabin is Amazing

The property is Amazing. Just what we needed for our Holiday getaway. Very peaceful. 45 min away from many State Parks. I didn't want to leave. The owners were very responsive and helpful. I cant wait to come back

Perfect Getaway

Very nice place that is quiet for some RR away from the craziness of work and kids. Wife and I enjoyed our stay. Property was very clean and cute little cabin with an outstanding view of the lake. We will be back for sure!!!

Felt like home

Every touch, from decor to things available were perfect. The view was perfect and so relaxing. Probably one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, and I always check reviews for cleanliness! Would 100% stay again, and recommend to family/friends.

Wonderful cabin!!!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The view from the back deck is amazing and peaceful. The cabin was the perfect size for us and our dog. It was very well equipped and VERY clean. Can't wait to go back!!!

Beautiful stay

A lovely little cabin with all the accomodations necessary for a perfect get-away. 20 min away from a charming town and state parks. We enjoyed our time jusy hanging out in the cabin as well as hiking, horseback riding, and a day trip to Nashville. Very clean, easy check in and the ride to and from is absolutely breathtaking.

Refuge

I sought peace and solitude for my retreat away and that is exactly what I got at Bear Bluff Retreat. The cabin was neat, clean and very cute! I enjoyed immensely spending drizzly days on the deck with that magnificent view. I will definitely recommend it to friends who are looking for a cozy get-away!

Beautiful Get away spot!

Beautifully clean, just like the pictures! Loved the special touches left by the owners like the smores kit and firewood!! We enjoyed that both nights with the beautiful view! Thank you and we hope to be back!

Great View near Outdoor Activities

Being close to Rock Island, fall Creek Falls and Burgess state parks drew me to this clean cozy cabin fora first visit. Now I’m looking forward to a return as the space was perfect for some downtime, book reading, cooking my own meals, all with beautiful water views and a nice little outside deck. Everything about staying here was easy and nice - away from it all but close to a lot!

Lovely cabin with a view

This was such a great property. The view is amazing. The balcony is amazing. Even though the other two cabins are close, we never felt like we didn’t have privacy. Great location to the state parks.

Exactly what we were looking for. Great views of the river and it is fairly remote but close to what we were looking for. Owners were awesome responding to my requests.

Relaxing

This is our second stay at this location. Beautiful, clean, well equipped. Well thought out accommodations. Wonderful hosts. Would definitely recommend to couples wanting a peaceful getaway.
