Listing is deceiving. This is an incredibly active nightlife area. Sirens, people screaming and sleeping in the doorway every night. The condo had dirty dishes in the dishwasher and half full bottle of water in the fridge. It smelled like cheap air freshener that gave me a headache. Stay in a hotel, the cost per night did not match the experience.

Excellent location. Easy walk to many parts of the city. Apartment was clean and building and parking secure. Olga is a good host with good communication.

I didn’t realize this small apartment was is an area with homeless people who were yelling, fighting and swearing all hours of the night. One homeless man was even sleeping in the entrance of building. Parking is an extra charge with extremely narrow aisles which was a challenge for parking. Didn’t think it was appropriate to be asked to leave apartment earlier than check out time to accommodate next guest

Dear Michel, We are sorry to read your review, especially since at no point during your stay did you mention any discomfort or concerns to us. The apartment is located in downtown Montreal, where homelessness is unfortunately a well-known issue, as it is in many major Canadian cities. Our building is equipped with a secure key fob access system. If anyone is found sleeping or loitering at the entrance, guests are asked to contact building management so the situation can be addressed. Regarding parking, the additional fee is clearly communicated in advance. We would also like to mention that the apartment was left in a rather dirty condition following your departure As for checkout, any request to leave earlier was simply made to help accommodate the next guests and was never intended to be an obligation. We always welcome constructive feedback, but we also appreciate open communication during a stay so that we have the opportunity to address any concerns. Thank you

This apartment is perfect for a solo traveller or couple looking for a 'home base' while visiting Montréal. It was tidy, efficiently laid out, and comfortably furnished. The compact kitchen was nicely designed and stocked, and the stacked washer/ drier came in very handy. The apartment's location is also perfect for exploring Montréal, with metro stations and bus stops nearby. And if you want a taxi, all you need do is walk to the hotel at top of the block and hail one from across the street (taxis usually line up there to wait for fares).

Excellent communication with host. Nice, comfortable apartment very well located, although the street gets loud at night Tue-Sat due to heavy nightlife in the area.

Our recent 6 night stay was problematic - though not initially.  Our reservation/payment, made 9 months in advance, was promptly processed.  However, in the week prior to our visit, 3 attempts were made before finally receiving instructions on the entry process for the building/unit.   Whatever the intent, clear communication was lacking.Next, scheduled repairs were required on the unit's AC midway into our stay.  Given the warmer Sept weather (23-24 degrees), a functional AC unit would have been useful - crucially so during the noisy evening hours.  Here lies the main problem - street noise for this unit, on this street - is incessant, with weekend activities audible till 4:30 am.  We were nevertheless required to refrain from using the AC unit for several days.  The result being 3 sleepless nights for us, as the closure of the windows was the only remedy to nightly neighborhood noise.Next comes routine building security in preventing random individuals camping in the entryway of the building (first noted in reviews in June 2026).  As a landlord myself, this is a simple fix - repair/replace the entry door to the building.  It's unacceptable - at these nightly rates - to step over sleeping individuals upon entry/exit to the building.  While not aggressive to us, even as San Francisco residents it was annoying - other guests might feel more strongly.Compromised by either our host's inexperience or intention, I can only offer a qualified recommendation for this unit.

The space looks exactly how it does in the photos! It’s perfect for two people and very close to the metro. It’s walkable distance from Old Port to Mount Royal, so it was the perfect location with amazing food spots close by. Olga was an amazing host and would highly recommend for people to stay here. She was quick to reply, especially when we locked ourselves out of the condo haha. Thank you for letting us stay here again!

Lovely space

The accommodation was as it was listed. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The owners were wonderful regarding staying in communication during the entire process. The location was perfect for us as well, it was close to the metro which was convenient when we used it. we were also able to walk to almost everything we wanted during our stay. The building was also secure. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others.

Clean, helpful, so kind and cozy

The place was super clean and well laid out with the everything you could possibly need provided to you! including glasses, coffee and shower supplies. Just a two minute walk to the metro, 20 minute walk from old montreal and a lot of great pubs, restaurants, fast food places and shopping within 10 minutes. The host was so helpful, especially figuring out parking and check in/check out details - responded quickly and clearly! overall, a 10/10 stay :)

The apartment was clean enough, but there was a pretty horrible smell, which I really realized later was an air freshener. We are used to city noise, but to be warned due to it being near to the club area. It can be loud till somewhat late. The kitchen is OK we bought and left a spatula.

The property was clean, quiet, well located, and good value for money. It is perfect for a couple, but it also worked well for us as a family of three. Olga was kind, considerate, and communicated well when there was a slight issue with the parking at check in. We enjoyed our stay!

The host was very responsive and accommodating! Cute spot, very clean, amazing location. Toilet was acting up but she had it fixed the same day. Other appliances were also useful like the laundry machine, and kitchen had everything we could need.Thanks Olga!

Unfortunately this was a terrible experience. The host was just fine. However the broken front door that had not been replaced allowed unhoused, mentally ill, drugged out individuals to occupy the vestibule. We had to navigate around these folks. We cancelled early due to safety concerns; a refund is being issued.The listing description was misleading.

The small apartment is fine for one or two guests but the sofa bed can not be used a place to sleep a third or fourth person, The mattress is very thin and you feel all the metal bars of the frame. We had three people so had to switch the mattress' to sleep.

Our stay in this cute apartment was amazing! It had everything you need and want while enjoying Montreal. The bed was comfy, they had black out curtains and a balcony. Kitchen had everything we needed. The biggest plus of this apartment was the laundry. Not only a washer, but a dryer, too! It was so nice to head home with clean clothes. The check in and out process was incredibly smooth and the host was very responsive. We did reserve a parking spot, which cost extra and was affordable. The location of the apartment was very convenient. P.S. if you attend during festivals and they aren't your vibe, you might consider earplugs. The festivals were awesome and ended at 11pm. Overall 10/10 highly recommend!!!
