The hot tub was perfect! Parking was also good we carried a truck, trailer, and motorcycle and felt it was roomy enough!

Jodee was super communicative, the views and atmosphere were superb, and we enjoyed every minute. Convenient parking, huge soaker tub, well maintained hot tub, comfortable bed and couch, plenty of chopped wood to build a fire, the list goes on and on! Loved our stay!

My first solo trip ever and it was absolutely perfect! Jodee’s yurt felt like it was meant just for me — the decor, the messages in the artwork, the Buddha in the loft, every little detail felt so intentional.The yurt is spotless, magical, and so well thought out — from the rocking chairs on the deck, the hot tub, the bath salts for the soaking tub and the variety of the local coffees that were provided. Jodee thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I felt safe and at home the whole time. Thank you Jodee! I would 100% come back! -Robbin Thomas

Restful yurt stay

Quiet, restful, relaxing. Clean and well maintained with a lot of nice personal touches. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We had an amazing stay. The yurt was perfectly decorated, equipped with everything you could possibly want and more. So many details, nothing was overlooked. The enclosed porch, covered swing, firepit and hot tub were ALL icing on the cake. I cannot wait to go back.

Perfect quiet weekend getaway

We wanted a quiet weekend and that’s what we got. The yurt had absolutely everything one could need and was super clean. It was perfect!

Incredible!

My girlfriend and stayed here and loveddd it! We originally only booked one night but stayed an extra after loving it so much! The process was super smooth and Jodee the owner was soo nice! Highly recommend!

Unique Glamong Expwrience

The yurt was clean and just as pictured! It was 20 degrees with a wind advisory so we didn’t explore or use the hot tub but we had a great time staying in!

Mountain Oasis

Beautiful experience all around! Easy parking and entry to the yurt. Everything was just as described, all we could have wanted and more. Gorgeous view of the mountain from the hot tub. Able to watch the sky as we lay in bed at night. A wonderful place to just relax and soak in your surroundings with your favorite person.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This Yurt looks EXACTLY as the pictures and then some. The hot tub was amazing along with the bath tub and the overall yurt itself was so cozy and unique. We will for sure be back and next time will bring our fur babies and children. If your looking for a remote place off the grid to relax and enjoy nature, this is it. Jodee the host is so phenomenal at responding quickly with any questions you may have.

Hurricane Helene

We were not able to stay due to hurricane Helene but the property host was quick to contact us regarding the access to the property was compromised & we were able to find a last minute place to stay in the area for our needs.Great communication under an unexpected situation.Top notch host.

Mother Earth retreat

The yurt is beautifully decorated and absolutely everything but charcoal for the grill was provided. The soaking tub & hot tub were awesome. Outside, the fireplace and swing were fun. Easily assessable location, but it’s on a gravel road. Must be able to climb the pictured latter to the bedroom. There is no twin bed in the living room. Great for a couple and taking the dog worked great.

Thanks Wanda, it sounds as if you really liked Mother Earth. I seldom get a disappointing four star review though. If you share with me, why, it is appreciated. There is a twin blow up bed under the bed upstairs for a third guest. I do not have it listed as a twin bed in the living room. Thanks.

Mother Earth was exactly as described and pictured. It was very comfortable. Two things I didn't consider before arriving was the glass dome in the ceiling and no isolation from sound. I would stay at Mother Earth again but I would take an eye mask (the sun was bright in the morning) and earplugs. (There was a barking dog down the hill that I heard each morning.) Those are very small complaints and they wouldn't stop me from staying at Mother Earth. Jodee was easy to reach and communication was smooth. My husband, dog and I had a lovely stay.

Not all Yurts are created equal!!! We’ve been to several different Glamping locations and this one stands out as our absolute favorite spot. Jodee was an absolutely amazing host and made sure we had everything necessary for our visit. I have a lowered Tesla and I made it with no issues at all and I was able to make it both ways in to the yurts. I was able to charge my car while I was there with a 50ft extension cord as well since there is an electrical socket close enough to the designated parking spot. The property is absolutely amazing and we were lucky enough to experience a rain storm ad well as nice weather while we were there. I actually don’t know which one we enjoyed more. The sound of the rain hitting the yurt canvas while the fire place was keeping us warm was magical. The XL bathtub, private hot tub, full wraparound deck, fully loaded kitchen, and breathing sunrises over the rolling hills, and everything else this place has to offer is why we will be returning here as soon as we possibly can. The drive from the DC area is also very pretty and not very long. Well worth the drive and you can’t beat the price for what you actually pay for 100%!!! Thank you Jodee!!!
