In the middle of nowhere but close to everything. We are on the Va. / NC line 10 minutes to I 77, 25 minutes to Mount Airy NC or Galax Va. 5 miles to Parkway. We are close to Winerys, Resturants, hiking and many more things. We have a full kitchen for your stay and a den and living room for your friends to enjoy. A nice back porch and yard..

This was our second stay here. The property is beautiful with the creek and Mountain Views. The home is comfortable and clean. We truly enjoyed our stay.

This property was exactly what we expected. The house was very cozy and comfortable. Eclectic decor made for a home feeling. Appliances were fairly modern and worked excellent.Outside space was wonderful. Large yard and the flowing stream was very relaxing.And the owners were wonderful! We needed to extend our stay and they worked with us. We will return!

The house was clean and comfortable and was stocked to meet all of our needs. The host was very accommodating and very communicative. The area is beautiful and the property is just a stones throw from the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and it was a very nice secluded lot . We greatly appreciated the accommodations and it worked out perfectly for the wedding venue that was only five minutes away. The only thing that I would recommend is that the showerhead be looked at because there was low pressure there but other than that, we had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it, especially hearing the water from the small creek at the back of the property! Thanks again, and we would definitely stay there again!

My sister her husband and I wanted to do some wineries and visit Mt.Airy. Just a few days. We had their puppers with us and this couldn't have been a better place for a quick getaway. The place was exactly as posted and the yard was enjoyed greatly by the dogs. We would put them on tie outs and sit on the deck and enjoy some of the wine from the wineries while they enjoyed some outdoor time. The hostess dropped by just to see if we needed anything. What a pleasant surprise. She offered advice on things to visit in the local area. Very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

Great home and sceneries. House was equipped with kitchen items, shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion and plenty of towels. Home was very clean. Enjoyed our stay here while in town for a wedding.

Had a great weekend stay with family and our dogs for a wedding at a nearby venue. We had a great time and enjoyed the property immensely.

Great Location

Very clean, comfortable property close to The Shiloh Wedding venue. We enjoyed hanging out by the creek before going to the wedding. Would definitely book again.

Property is off a main road in a quiet area with just a few houses around. Close to Mt. Airy and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Great stay, friendly hosts!

Stayed for two nights. The house is set up well for rentals, everything we needed. It's modest but clean and as advertised, and if you get a chance to meet them, the hosts are very friendly and helpful! We'll be back.

Quiet, cute home! Pets loved the yard

Beautiful quiet country home! Easy to find and perfectly located between Mt Airy, Galax, and Sparta. Creek at the back of property is peaceful to sit by. Dogs loved the large yard.

My trip was definitely at a country home setting. We really loved setting on the deck you could hear the small creek that’s in the back yard. The house itself was the cleanest I’ve ever stayed at. The beds were comfortable nicely decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with about everything you would need. Ceiling fans in all the living areas.

Peaceful country getaway

This was our second time at Gulley Creek, and once again we really enjoyed our visit. Our hosts are so friendly and helpful. The home is very clean and stocked with everything we need, and they even supply some little snacks! Perfect place to stay that is real close to the Blue Ridge parkway and Galax VA. We enjoy sitting out on the deck and watching the birds and listening to the creek out back. It is just such a peaceful stay.We're already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Home away from home

So cozy!! Nestled right in the mountains with beautiful views right out the front window. A gorgeous deck and covered porch, perfect for sipping coffee in the morning. The homeowners were amazing, friendly, attentive and responsive. We are a military family visiting our family in town and staying here made the whole visit so much more pleasant.
