Relaxing Lake House with Beach, Hot Tub

Enjoy a beautiful view and a private sandy beach on 84.5 acre all sports Montcalm Lake! Spend time fishing, swimming, and paddleboating. Two kayaks and two stand up paddle boards available for your use. You may bring your own boat to tie up to our dock. Relax at the end of the day around the gas fire pit or in the hot tub!

Great view of the lake from main living area. Well stocked kitchen including electric griddle, waffle maker, toaster, blender, crock pot, Keurig, drip coffee maker and dishwasher. Indoor dining table seats 8. Large deck has gas grill and outdoor dining.

Sleeps 10 comfortably. One main floor bedroom with queen bed. Two lower level bedrooms, one with king bed and one with queen bunk bed (sleeps 4). Loft above living area has queen bed. Pack and play available. Two full bathrooms. Home has central air.

Other entertainment options include a pool table and ping pong table in garage (heat available), board/card games, puzzles and smart tvs. Fiber internet available.

*Please note there is a Ring doorbell installed on the front door facing the road.

Great spot for a weekend getaway

We loved our stay. A couple childhood friends and I gathered for an annual reunion trip, and we could not have picked a better spot. Not too much of a drive from Grand Rapids and we thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong, hot tub, and ice fishing. Matt and Kari were great hosts. Highly recommend.

Unbeatable Stay

This property was amazing. The photos were so accurate to the house, and everything was just as expected. The place was really clean, the view was spectacular, and the hot tub was a phenomenal experience in the winter. The hosts were so kind, and were so easy to get a hold of, I don’t have one bad thing to say about this stay.

Family Christmas

This was a very clean and wonderful place! Plenty of room for us and the kitchen had everything we needed. We all were very happy with our stay & owners were easily accessible if needed. We had an absolute blast in the game room as we all are competitive 😄 We are all extremely satisfied & would love to stay again.

Just wonderful!

We had a girl’s trip weekend….Matt and Kari have many special touches that make the stay even sweeter. House is beautiful- view is breathtaking! Beds were amazingly comfortable! Would definitely stay again. Great hosts who are super helpful!

Relaxing Lake House with Beach

We had a nice weekend at this lake house. We enjoyed the beach area, kayaking, peddle boating, and swimming in the lake. The house accommodations were adequate and perfect for the 5 of us.

Fantastic Fun with 5 grown children

Its a lovely property, beautiful view, clean and nicely decorated. We used the beach, the paddleboat, the kayak, the firepit, the kitchen and the gameroom! We invented no limits, no boundaries ping pong and threw out all rules pertaining to pool.

Great family getaway

The beach and lake were so clean, and the water was so warm! We enjoyed all of the amenities this home had to offer. Lots of stairs so young babies/toddlers and elderly may not be the best fit. But we loved it! Great little town called Lakeview nearby to explore & plenty of beautiful state parks & nature preserves in the area to hike. We loved that the beach was nice & shaded so we weren’t so worried about kiddos getting sunburned.

Thanksgiving Weekend on the Lake

The lake house provided the expected amenities and more. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal. Appreciated the quality and number of linens. Unfortunately the weather did not permit us to enjoy the outdoors. However our grandchildren enjoyed the view of the lake!

You Property is Beautiful

We very much enjoyed our week at your property. The family did a lot of fishing and fun on the lake. We ventured out to several spots. My only suggestions are providing fans and flashlights. Peaceful Weekend Getaway

We had an out-of-town wedding and were able to turn it into a weekend getaway. This place was only 20 minutes away from our venue and we were able to have an extra night of fun. We mostly hung out on the deck right off the house and enjoyed playing a few games of ping pong in the garage. My husband and brother even bought a fishing pole at the store on the corner and took the paddle boat out and caught a fish. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with and made us feel very welcome.

Family Lake House Summer Vacation

Beautiful property and home! The views from the house to the lake were amazing. My children and husband were entertained from sun up to sun down each day with all of the lake activities (paddle boat, fishing, kayaks, swimming). House was stocked with all the necessities which allowed us to make one grocery trip at the beginning and then not have to travel out again. At night the large farm style table and open concept main area allowed us all to hangout inside and watch TV, play on the Switch (we brought our own), and play Euchre and board games. Walking around the lake was also nice and all the neighbors were very friendly. Would love to come back again sometime and would definitely recommend this property to others!

Overall Positive

I think this would be a "great" stay in the summer for the cost. In the winter, for us, it was "good." The house was clean and well stocked other than we did have an issue with cleanliness for two of the comforters. The home is very close to the neighbors and seems larger in the pictures. The pictures also show a wood fired outdoor fire pit type unit, that was not present at the time of our stay, instead there was a propane heater type fire pit. That was sad for us as we brought firewood expecting to enjoy a warm, relaxing fire by the lake side.The game room was certainly awesome for my family with teenage kids. We enjoyed hours of competition. The hot tub is a must for my kids and this particular hot tub was spacious and clean with a very nice cover. The trim in the home was very well done, all oak, and nicely fitted. Looked to be freshly painted as well. Very nice cabinets and fixtures. Overall the home was very nice, although I have to say overpriced for a winter stay. The neighbors were close but friendly enough.

Very Nice!

Nice! Ample room and closet space. Well stocked with all the basics. Those steps can be a bit challenging for us older folks, but the kids loved the water. Plenty of toys for the little ones, from board games and books to beach toys and water toys. Impeccably clean, with plenty of fresh linens. (We loved the duel washer and dryers that are there.) We also had a very friendly guest waiting for us each morning. A Black Cat that all the grandchildren wanted to bring home with them. All in all, a great time was had by all. Highly recommended for a family get together.

Hidden Gem

We had a great time at this beautiful lake house. It was immaculately clean and well stocked and, the communication with the owner was excellent. They also did a good job in preparing a brochure which included all the important details about the house and shared well in advance of our trip. For a group like ours who enjoy cooking and eating, it was nice to see a well equipped kitchen. The house was also well equipped with toys for the lake: kayaks, paddle boat, volleyball, badminton, life jackets, fridge (for quick access to beers ;)), speaker, and plenty of beach toys for the kids. Overall, we all had a great time at this house and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who likes to have a modern classy house with a beautiful view of the lake. We will definitely consider this place again for our next vacation by the lake.

STOP SEARCHING!!!

This is the place to stay! Our family of five had so much fun here! Truly a relaxing lake house with a beach! The amenities are amazing, really thought of it all. We all felt right at home. The lake is so beautiful day or night. Clear water and great fishing! Caught; large mouth bass, walleye, perch, bluegill, crappie. The paddle boat was so nice to get around the lake and very sturdy. Also, the two kayaks they offer are so much fun to cruise around in too. We loved sitting outside under the beautiful canopy of trees. And in the three car garage is a ping pong/pool table, which were fun to pass the time. We also had a car parked inside and had plenty of space to get around the tables. We truly enjoyed our time staying here, we’re sad to leave! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!!! Look forward to going again!!

Wonderful getaway home!

This house is perfect for a family getaway! We had a group of 3 adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room for everyone. The double set of washer/dryer was especially nice for the 2 separate families. The kids absolutely loved all the well stocked floats, kayaks, paddle board, paddle boat, and sand toys and the adults appreciated having a fridge down by the lake. 😀 We enjoyed lots of swimming and fishing and the lake is very clean and clear! Note though you don't get alot of sun with all the shady trees, won't see sun on dock till afternoon. If you have kids, highly recommend the 40 min drive to Deer Tracks Junction. Kids loved petting and holding animals as well as feeding the animals during the drive through safari! They also have great ice cream! Farm country cheese house is just down the road and has the best blueberry donuts and other Amish baked goods! Oh and was surprise to us, but there is a very heavy Amish presence near the house so be watchful for horse and buggies as you drive around. We also enjoyed Chapz Roadhouse for dinner, highly recommended. Only thing I would suggest is making sure you get a bag of ice as there is no ice maker unless you want to constantly fill the ice cube trays. Overall a highly recommended place to stay! Hosts are excellent to communicate with and provide alot of great information before your stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
