It was so perfect and everything was so well labeled to help. We loved just spending our time out by the lake as well as kayaking and eating over the fire :)

My partner and I went here for valentine’s day weekend and loved our stay! It was cozy, well decorated, and truly had everything we could have needed. We loved their little touches and dancing to the vintage style radio by the fireplace!

Tranquil weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was super clean, ready for us, and welcoming. The amenities were a plus, from the lake view from the bedroom, the use of the kayaks and paddle boat to the easy access of the trails. The wife and I celebrated our anniversary there and talked about how much we enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend staying here.

Quiet and peaceful. Abundant natrue surrounds this cozy cabin. The host, Kim was full of local k owledge and offer suggestions for some of the local favorites. We enjoyed the lake, kayaks and paddle boat. Plenty to see and do in this area

Cozy Cabin

Even with one bedroom and sleeping couch in living area, it has the atmosphere and amenities for a comfortable stay.The host is very accommodating and thoughtfully leaves most supplies you need for your stay.And some extra surprises too! Enjoyed the stay very much!

Great place to stay!

My husband and I came here for our anniversary weekend and we had a great time! The cabin is quiet and peaceful; it is an excellent place to enjoy nature, while also only being about 25 minutes from Mount Pleasant. We loved being able to walk to the nearby nature preserve and experience a serene walk through the forest. The house itself was super clean and very nice! Kim is an excellent host!

Lovely little cabin

Cabin was clean and well appointed for a stay on the lake. Well organized and space used well so felt there was plenty of space. Lake was lovely with sitting area and fire pit and wished we had time to use the kayaks or paddle boat. Will come back if need a stay in this area.

Cute and cozy!

Loved our stay at this cabin. Super cute and cozy. Immaculately clean. We went to a concert at the casino and it was not fat away. We look forward to going back when it's warmer and we can stay longer.

Absolutely perfect! Cute, cozy, clean, comfortable!!! We were there for a music festival. Too cold to be outside on the lake, but it was beautiful to look out on. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Amazing getaway

We loved staying over at Kim's cabin over the past weekend. The cabin was exactly as described, and is beautiful. The location is perfect, and Kim is the most gracious host. She went out of her way to put up fairy lights all over the cabin when I inquired if there were any. She is excellent with her communication and was swift in responding to all of my queries. We had a great stay and will definitely be going back! The one thing I would caution other guests about is the coil stovetop. If you are planning to cook, please account for the extra time it may take due to the coils not being too powerful (as is generally the case with induction coils). But overll, 10/10 recommend!

This was the perfect place for us to stay when visiting for a local wedding. Queen bed was comfortable, everything was very clean. We did not have time to spend by the lake, but it was very cozy inside and out, quiet neighborhood area with lots of trees.

My two sisters and I enjoyed two weeks at Kim's cottage on Halls Lake.We loved our stay! The practical details of the cottage were well-thought out.A full kitchen with everything a cook might need for cooking meals...modern kitchen appliances, cupboards full of kitchen necessities.The lakeshore is absolutely gorgeous: quiet, much land undeveloped and in conservancypeople using the lake for fishing and kayaking.Kim was a gracious host, answering questions and making us feel welcome, yet offering us space and privacy. We enjoyed the paddleboat immensely, the eagle flying overhead, the beauty of sunsets and far away from the main road that traffic sounds were barely audible.As darkness set in, you could be assured that quietude settled in also.We gave it a 10 rating not to be generous but rather because this cottage space really deserves every star of the ten stars.You will not be disappointed.
