This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Very secluded and very well maintained. Super comfortable bed and bathroom downstairs, and we really enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and views from the upstairs area. We also enjoyed the rainwater system, which was excellent. We made some wonderful memories here!

We really enjoyed our visit. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony is just beautiful. The beds were comfortable, AC was cold and it was overall a really nice stay. Hope to stay again!

Very clean cabin, easy check in process. Beautiful view over valley and glimpse of Sardis lake. Very well equipted for cooking. Clean drinking water from 6 stage filtered water system. It was also very comfortable with a good bed and furniture. Would recommend

My wife and I stayed here over a long holiday weekend and it was just what we needed. This property provides everything you need from peace and relaxation to nature and privacy. I was able to take a few walks behind the cabin after it rained to find some beautiful little streams. The views from all 3 porches are beautiful. Kitchen is well equipped, the hosts are very friendly and make you feel welcome with their notes and information throughout the cabin. I would definitely recommend this property.

The cabin was exactly what my husband & I were looking for. Very clean & cozy with wonderful views. We loved the seclusion while being surrounded by nature. Very quaint small town. We plan on coming back in the near future.

DID NOT GO the listing failed to mention that there was a cabin close by that had large dogs.

This reservation was highly suspect from the beginning and I received a notice of such from VRBO. Because he was bringing two dogs, I wanted to let him know that a neighbor 1/4 mile up our steep mountain road had two friendly Labradoodles that sometimes come down the hill but were harmless, and I would be happy to tell my neighbor to keep them close to home if this would be a problem for him or his dogs. He informed me 4 hours after check in that he would not be coming because he thought my cabin was not secluded. As you can see from my reviews, I have NEVER had a bad review and most of my reviews praise the cabin seclusion. My house rules have a quiet time because of neighbors, but none can be seen from our cabin.

Mountain view cabin

Very good amenities, thought of everything you might need. Tv upstairs would be nice. Great spot to go on rockhounding adventures from.

Thank you for the kind review. Yes... lots of great rocks in our area! Sorry about not keeping a TV upstairs in the main living area and only having the big screen TV downstairs in the bedroom. We knew it would be a distraction from enjoying the scenery and our family time.

Beautiful and Relaxing!!

It was a relaxing and beautiful scenery. The host was amazing and accommodating!! The only negative is the road to the cabin, definitely need a SUV or truck. Definitely will be returning!!!

Beautiful property

What a great weekend! My wife and I stayed during an autumn rainy weekend and it was so beautiful. Host was awesome and property was very clean and equipped with everything you need. Highly recommend!

Quiet Getaway

This is such a quiet, relaxing getaway. The location is great, we went swimming at the Potato Hills swimming beach and it was perfect. This is a great place to go unwind and “disconnect” from the hustle n’ bustle for awhile.

Great stay, nice and quiet with minimal road noise. The A/C downstairs made an awful noise that made it difficult to sleep. Other than that, helpful notes all around, well stocked, fast Wi-Fi, and clean.

I am sorry about the noise in the ac split unit. I guess I never really noticed it, but my husband had mentioned it. He replaced the ball bearings and now it is so quiet we wonder if it is on. Thanks for letting us know. So sorry you had to move to the bed upstairs. Thank you for the kind review in spite of that and we promise you a quiet sleep if you return.

Secluded - Quiet - Safe

The description of the property and driving directions were perfect. I would recommend driving a truck or suv. The water tasted great and the home was clean and well equipped. The host and the neighbor are amazing! We would stay here again.

People little getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed. Views we great! My husband wished there was a TV upstairs, but that is it. Thanks for a great weekend
