Great location

Visiting my mom at the Woodlands - couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Great space for my husband to stay while I visited my mom. Kitchen supplies ( pots and pans) limited so don’t plan to cook an elaborate meal but there’s an amazing amount of places to eat or get carry out in TR. clean, comfortable beds, fenced in area for our 4 legged friends. Planning on staying on our return trip home.

Greenville cottage

The cottage has a good location. It is tastefully decorated. Things are labeled well for the guests. The furniture is comfy. The porches need help. The back screen porch was filthy, the floor was peeling and dirty. A section of screen was missing so bugs were getting in (and a bird). The porches overall need help, they seem unsafe. The house and windows need a good power washing. The bedrooms have no screens so fresh air was not an option. The bathroom vent was completely blocked with thick dust and what looked like mold on the side. I dropped something off my nightstand, when I bent down to look under the bed and nightstand was very dusty. As was the ceiling fan. The air was a bit stuffy, but ceiling fans were nice. The ceiling fan in the front bedroom is quite loose. No washer/dryer was a bummer, I would have washed towels; with 3 adults we went through them fast. Close to the venue for the wedding we were attending

Fall Break

Perfect location as it was close to grocery store and downtown Greenville. Family dinners and time spent at house was very enjoyable and relaxing.

Super place, so many nice amenities, great location

We had a wonderful stay and the home was quite comfortable and provided everything we needed. Great location close to the university and was very easy to get to. Super communication from the host - always pleasant and always timely. No reason for anyone not to stay here!

Stayed here for a 4 day dog show at the convention center. Loved the dog run. Pictures are accurate. Will definitely stay again. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

Everything was good. Except the way to get in or out the driveway. I think that the laundry service is very necessary.

Well appointed and thought out VRBO, located in the middle of everything we did! Highly recommend!

We loved everything about our stay in this charming little home. Great location, great communication by hostess and the home was lacking nothing. We loved the guestbook where we completed our list of travels and favorite restaurants. This was the BEST VRBO we’ve stayed at due to the attention to detail of provisions, such as maps, attractions, games, books, black washcloths for makeup, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, etc. We were nicely surprised and you will be as well!

Lovely cottage

The cottage has everything you need and is well cared for. Having a large fenced yard for my dog was a huge plus. She had a GREAT time! The location is excellent; less than 5 minutes from the grocery store and very close to Travelers Rest and the restaurants there, also a short drive to downtown Greenville.

All was really great. Clean, spacious . The back porch was our favorite. Beds and pillows are terribly uncomfortable.

Mabry cottage

We were happy when we saw the pictures were accurate to show cottage rooms. We had a nice time. The internet went out and our hostess was in hospital and we were able to contact her alternate hostess. We could not get the internet back but we had our phones. Thank you

Perfect for our needs

My 85-yr-old mother, my disabled husband, and I were in Greenville (from Florida) to visit my aunt (my mother's sister-in-law) who is under hospice care. It was in a great area, and it just the right distance from family in the Taylors/Greer area for visiting. Also close to good restaurants AND a Publix! The hosts were fantastic to communicate with, very responsive. If we ever need to be up that way again, we will definitely check to see if this lovely home is available!

Pleasant & Comfy

Two Week Stay in TR

Great location! Very close to Travelers Rest and Greenville. Very responsive property manager. A comfy two week stay while we looked for real estate.

Unresponsive Host

The property itself is OK; it has a great location, but the beds both have (extra) firm mattresses & the flapper in the toilet had to be tapped down after EVERY flush. Thankfully, we didn’t book hoping to use a hot tub bc there isn’t one, though that was an amenity in the listing. The most frustrating aspect was the fact that I messaged to confirm our unlock code before we left, but never got a response, & when we arrived 6 hours later, my code didn’t work. I called & left a message for the host, but never got a call back. Thankfully, her friend (the 2nd POC) replied promptly & gave us her code to use for the weekend. We had a question about setting the thermostat, so I texted the friend, who replied immediately, but was unable to help & she couldn’t get a response from the host, either. Overall, it was an OK stay, we just didn’t sleep great & never received a response from the host.

Short stay

I was disappointed with house it had several minor repairs that are needed along with the back porch. The vinyl flooring seemed to be hiding some major problem, at the least it was very tacky. Street in front of the house was busier than expected.

Surrounded by wooded lots and bordered in part by a small creek, it's not uncommon to see wildlife making their way past the house - deer, wild turkey, heron, hawks, rabbits, and more have all been spotted at some time or another. It's easy to forget how close you are to central Greenville. If you're looking for a place to get the most of your stay, this house really is a great spot!
