Come enjoy downtown life in historic New Bern!
Little Queen on Craven was built in1814. This charming two-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom Federal-Period home is perfect for a long weekend getaway.
Visit, relax, and explore! Whatever your motivation, you will be surrounded by historic charm with the modern amenities one would expect . . . kitchen complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and standard cooking/serving items. WiFi is provided along with a Smart TV in the family room and master bedroom. You will also find a washer and dryer on the first floor for your convenience. The fenced in backyard is expansive and has a gate that opens up with a car sized opening that was once purposed for horse drawn carriages.
Enjoy the close proximity (walking distance) to everything Downtown New Bern has to offer - historic Tryon Palace, quaint shops, multiple restaurants, and Union Point Park with its magnificent views of the Neuse and Trent Rivers.

The house was exactly as described and extremely clean and well maintained. Because it is an older home, some of the room dimensions are a bit quirky, but that added to the charm. Kelly was very proactive in providing information and responded quickly to questions. Great stay.

Such a cute house and property, close to the river and downtown. If hadn't been hot as hades we would have walked everywhere. Reallyy enjoyed our stay!

First time in New Bern and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location was excellent and we walked around all weekend. Cute home with historic charm. Kelly responded quickly to any questions we had and also allowed us to check in earlier. Highly recommend!

Super cute place! We loved all the character inside the home and the modern amenities. Very clean. Kitchen had plenty of silverware, plates, etc. Quick walk into town. We had a most wonderful visit.

Great little cottage!

Well appointed little cottage in close proximity to historic New Berne. We were able to walk to lots of great bakeries, restaurants, and shops! Great communication with the host.

This old house is beautiful. It needs a little more care. Please check appliances to make sure they work. Need to re paint the baseboard going up the stairs. We loved it here.

Neuse River Bridge Run Weekend

A few of us met to do the Neuse River Bridge run. The little queen cottage was perfect! Excellent location, excellent space inside the home and perfectly appointed. The bedrooms were much larger than the pictures show, we were pleasantly surprised! We all loved our stay and can’t wait to gather in New Bern again at this same house. The host was informative, welcoming and kind.

Enjoyed my stay at this property. It was clean, comfortably appointed, nicely decorated and very close to downtown. I felt safe in the neighborhood. All the necessities were provided. Nice yard.

Perfect little home away from home

What a cute little historic home in New Bern! Such a great location with excellent walkability to everything you would want to see and do in NB! We had everything we needed and the owner was super responsive throughout the entire process. Highly recommend! It was perfect for our family of 4 and can easily sleep more with the pull out couch options.

Gorgeous period cottage!

This gorgeous cottage really sets the mood for taking in the history of the town. Like others mentioned, the immaculate cleanliness of the home was the best I've seen and it can't be easy with all of the quirky historic architectural details! For a young family I think the walk ability was not perfect, but for the average adult it's totally doable! We would definitely stay again.

Cute Little House in New Bern!

My husband and I traveled with our 15 year old daughter to visit relatives in New Bern and we stayed at this property for 4 nights. When we first walked into the home, it is overwhelming to see all the quirks of an 1814 build and think of all the people who have lived there and many events that have occurred. The home was very clean and provided all the essentials we needed. The owners were responsive and great to work with. We highly recommend this property!

In town for a wedding

Little Queen was the perfect lodging for 5 adults. Steps away from the water to watch the sunrise and have coffee. Close to downtown and the farmer’s market. The house is quaint with lots of charm! It is also beautifully decorated. We loved Little Queen and know that you will too!
