This lovely property met all our needs: Spaces, location, privacy and the best...very clean! This is our first stay at this property, but hope to make this our stay for our annual visit to the area.

We had a great time as a family. The kids decided to share a room and loved having their own space. The house is spacious and nicely kept up. It's well stocked with appliances, dishes, pots and pans, GREAT bath towels and separate beach towels.There's a great selection of board games, card games, DVDs, and outdoor activities.The sunrises are absolutely amazing. The whole stay was peaceful and relaxing. We're hoping to come back again!

Once again this was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. We really enjoy the area and fishing was great. There is so much to do in the area, could stay busy for weeks. Thanks again for a great vacation.

This place was one of the most beautiful and relaxing spots we have stayed. The owners left Wisconsin wine and treats for our kids which was so thoughtful. Lots of games- board and yard games. A great dvd collection! The owners were highly responsive! The view was so wonderful and the big windows looking out were perfect. Highly recommend this spot!

Great lakeside location!

My brothers and I wanted to hit the Ahnapee state trail and this place was nearby. Great, hospitable host and cozy, clean place.

There are key things I would want future renters to know. 1. The water has a very strong odor. They provided bottled water for all cooking and drinking, but the odor is present in all other uses ie dishes, bathroom, showers. 2. There were constant dead flies present in the house and tons in the entry area. We vacuumed them up off the window sills and porch floor when we arrived. However the seal on the outside door is not tight so they come back in. 3. Do an internet search on the number of CAFOs within a 10 mile radius of this property. I was shocked how many there were and suspect that is the cause for water odor and the fly issue. We witnessed huge pumping trucks disbursing liquidity manure to the fields within minutes of this property. 4. The distance from parking your vehicle to the door is maybe 30ft through grass (it was long not mowed) no sidewalk. Not a big issue unless the dew is heavy or raining you will have wet shoes. 5. The freezer contained a significant amount of frozen meat. This took up a large portion of the freezer space. 6. Bring extra toilet paper. We ran out with the 4 adults we had there and we were gone daily. 7. The exterior living spaces are in need of some TLC. Lake exposure is clearly hard on them. 8. There is no lake access from this property. There is a large cliff present.

Everything was clean. Great seating inside and outside. Fires by the lake were great. Large movie selection when relaxing inside. Lawn games. A really nice place.

Enjoyable Stay on Lakeside

The property offers a nice view of the lake with beautiful sunrises. It's peaceful and quiet while within a few miles from two towns. The owner was very friendly, helpful and hospitable; bringing over items for a taste of Wisconsin. Would stay here again.

5 star guest! They left our home very clean. They were very good with communications. All the house rules were followed. We would love to host them again in the future.

Beautiful lakefront property

The house was perfect for our family getaway! Lots of space (we had 6 adults in our group), gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. We only spent a weekend there, but the space would be ideal for a longer stay. Communication with owner was very good, and check-in and checkout processes were extremely easy. Definitely recommend!

The property was clean and the view of Lake Michigan was amazing. Sunrises were beautiful. Unfortunately 3 of us were sick. Mike was very accommodating to my wife's questions on temp. She was first one sick If we could have controlled temp would have easier.We would recommend it as place to stay. My only caveat is if you need Internet for work. It's satellite based and inconsistent at times. Seeing the eagle was a plus
