Check in was so smooth. Any communication that was needed with the host got a very quick response. Great location to town. The only complaint was the flooring on the main level. A lot of raised boards that caused stubbed toes/tripping sometimes but nothing major.Would absolutely stay here again.

We’re disappointed to see this review, as it doesn’t fully reflect our communication during the stay. When concerns were brought to our attention at check-in, we responded promptly, addressed the issues, and worked to accommodate the guest’s requests. At the time, the guest expressed appreciation for our responsiveness and assistance, so this review was surprising to us. We take the condition of our property and the experience of our guests very seriously. If there is an issue involving a possible leak, we will absolutely investigate it and make any necessary repairs. We never want a guest to leave dissatisfied, and when something is brought to our attention, our priority is to respond quickly and do everything reasonably possible to make it right.

Property has great curb appeal! Furniture was nice and ample kitchen dishes/pots/pans/etc. were provided. That said, for a cabin in a new development, the interior condition was a bit “rougher” than we expected. A few items were broken, but nothing we couldn’t work around. Host was very receptive to the issues we identified. Also, for a one week stay, more clean towels and washcloths should be available in the bathrooms.

This house was perfect for our baseball families playing at Cal Ripken! Only about a 9 minute drive to the complex! The house was clean and ready upon arrival. I wish there would have been more silverware for a 5 bedroom house there was not much there. We only had one kitchen towel. No potholders but the host ordered some and we had them the next day. I would definitely stay here again, but would incorporate more in the kitchen- a larger frying pan also- there were LOTS of saucepans but only 2 small frying pans. Also some plastic cups would be great for the kids instead of glass.

Great location! Such a quiet area but right off parkway so it was just a short drive to get to all the fun. The fact that each room had its own bathroom was great. Our negative feedback would be primarily due to the cleanliness of the cabin. When we arrived, the cleaning crew was still onsite. We didn’t gain access to the cabin until 20 minutes after check in time as they were still there “cleaning”. However the cabin was quite filthy. There was hair, food and candy crumbs, as well as dirty spots (I assume from someone spilling something sticky on the ground) all over the floors on all levels. We traveled with toddlers and noticed the bottom of their feet were black from walking barefoot on the floor after their baths. The sheets and comforters were covered in stains and hair. Our 9 year old cousin refused to sleep under the covers she was so grossed out. There was also beer bottles full of cigarette butts from the previous tenants on the porch that were not removed as well. Aside from that, the tv control in the lower movie room was missing and it would not sync to our Roku app so we weren’t able to utilize the move room. We also weren’t able to utilize the fireplace because it wasn’t working as well. Had some communication with the host but none after we brought up how dirty the cabin was. All in all, we would have given the cabin a much better rating if it would have been cleaned properly.

Great place for a family vacay!

Plenty of bedrooms and baths for everyone! Decorated nicely. Living room could have been bigger with more seating but all in all a great place to stay and the host was very accommodating!

Great location

We had a great time staying at Papa Wolf’s retreat. Very peaceful and comfortable with plenty of room for the 8 of us and a dog. Hot tub was perfect and the kitchen had all the utensils and kitchen equipment you could need on vacation. Communication was great, easy to get to and close to everything. Zero complaints here! Definitely bookmarked for future stays next time we visit Tennessee.
