The layout is perfect for families as the kids and adults can have separate living rooms, each with their own Smart TVs and with plenty of games for the kids!

Absolutely wonderful - on ALL counts!

My husband and I brought our family, plus 7 more teens, on a youth group retreat and conference. I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about our stay. The property is clean, updated and trendy, very spacious, and fully equipped. The scenery is beautiful and was the perfect place to stay to “be still and know.” The first night of our stay we saw bears climbing a nearby tree! This was such an unreal moment for the kids. The hosts were very quick to respond and even checked on us multiple times when the forecast called for snow. I felt like I stayed at a friend’s house! Highly, highly recommend!

Family vacation

There were seven of us. Three adults, two seniors and two teenagers. The cabin was comfortable, clean, and in a good location. It was very easy accessible and the scenery of the mountains from their balcony was beautiful. I recommend this for a family vacation.

Loved the Cabin!

Fun trip to Gatlinburg, house with great view!

The Red Bone Way house is a fun place to stay. Very comfortable beds, nice upgrades and a killer view! Our kids enjoyed the game room. Fast internet and nice TV's. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are nice. Plenty of nice deck furniture and a nice gas grill. The location is convenient to everything you'll want to do in the area. The owners were very helpful and communicated quickly. The hot tub was full and hot but needed to be cleaned and fresh-filled. The bath towels are cheap, thin. Need a screen door for the deck and screens on more windows so the house can be opened up when the temps are nice. Potential guests need to know that the upstairs BR near the front door is extremely bright at night due to a street light that is near the house and high windows that cannot be covered up. Potential guests should also know that the road getting to the cabin is pretty rough and may be difficult for some folks, especially after dark.

Our Cabin Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We had 3 family groups and each had enough space. The view from the deck is beautiful, the location is so close to all the activities we were interested in; the cabin was comfortable and the beds were great! Just a few things could have made this stay excellent: 1. Better signage to the cabin. The signs are there - just challenging to read while climbing up an unfamiliar mountain at dusk. 2. Fix the wash-out/pot hole at the top of the driveway. By smoothing out this spot, going up and down the mountain with multiple vehicles, multiple times a day would have been easier. 3. Provide enough basic ammenities to cover the rental stay. We had 9 people for 5 days and felt these supplies were inadequate for our group: 3 d/w pods, 2 laundry pods, 2 kitchen towels, 4 spoons. (Other utensils were adequate) 4. Improve clothes/belongings storage. Closets lacked clothes bars or hooks. Dressers were filled with extra bedding. We kept everything in our suitcases, on the floor. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and made wonderful memories visiting the Smokies!

Amazing home away from home!

This property is beautiful, the house is very warm and cozy. The house sits on the side of the mountain with an amazing view of the Smokey Mountains! The house was very comfortable for 9 adults and 2 kids, it was also very clean! The hosts are amazing and answered any questions we had pretty quickly. Only downside is the drive up the mountain, but that’s to be expected when vacationing in the mountains! Overall it was a very pleasant stay with amazing views!

Very basic, but nice stay overall.

The hosts were great and communicated well and clearly throughout the stay; but the rental property wasn't quite what we had hoped. There was some cleanliness issues; mainly under any furniture. Lots of dust bunnies and dirt under every bed. Kitchen was not "well-stocked" as advertised. We had very little to work with in the kitchen. Outdoor outlet was not properly grounded. Most of the doors squeaked and some dragged on the ground. You will need a fan if you're staying in warmer months as one bedroom doesn't have a vent. Overall, not a bad stay by any means, but just not quite what we had hoped. Very basic is how I would describe it. Nice, but nothing extra, no frills. Check in process was very smooth and the hosts did a great job accommodating for me and my family.

The Cabin

We had a nice time during our stay. The owners were attentive and responded immediately to questions. It was a little tough to find in the dark. Waze took us to a cliff. That’s not the owners issue though. Overall a great experience.

Good time with family!!

Great stay! The communication with the host was top notch. The property is big and the pictures are correct in what they actually have. Lots of space and room for an entire family of 9 to 10 people to stay comfortably. The cleaners did not do a good job and had left some mess from previous stay but the host was responsive and refunded half of cleaning fee. I appreciate the proactiveness of the host. I definitelt recommend this place, super spacious, lots of beds, including two sofa beds plus futon. Great views from balcony. Hot tub we did not get to use but they do have one. All in all, i would book again. Thank you!!

Disappointed

We arrived to check in at 10:00 pm after a long day of travel and Dollywood. The keypad for entrance wasn’t working. Thankfully the owner responded immediately to my text and gave us a code for the lockbox. We had 10 tired people trying to get in the cabin. Stressful. The staircase down to the cabin was dirty and full of cobwebs. The driveway to the cabin is rough. As a woman, I wouldn’t want to drive to the cabin after dark by myself. Paved road to dirt road to cabin was a little sketchy. Inside the cabin was great. The staircase leading to the basement needs a rail. The two king sized beds are on the first floor. The kids rooms are downstairs in the basement. They loved the fuss ball and Packman games. The balcony views are amazing! We will not stay at this location a 2nd time. Mainly due to the road conditions getting there.

Loved the Back Porch

The cabin was perfect for our family vacation! Our favorite part was sitting on the back porch enjoying coffee and each other’s company. The kids loved the downstairs playroom and games. We ate at the recommended nearby pizza restaurant, Papa Leone’s, which was fantastic - we tried the lasagna pizza! Brandon and Marisa were excellent hosts and very responsive. We would recommend and would stay again!!

Smoky mountains cabin

Great girls trip weekend

The cabin is beautiful and the owners are great to work with. We had issues with the water not being on when we arrived and they instantly jumped to finding someone to come fix it and in the meantime delivered us jugs of water. We had a great weekend and would love to return in the future!
