It's a great place for a family. The house was too big for just the two of us however the privacy, peace and quiet was perfect! We live on a busy street.

Was a last minute change due to other location having no communication for check in , so we had to cancel it and start from fresh . The owners were helpful and understanding of our situation & even gave us an early check in !!! Great place to stay !!!

Awesome Place

This place was exactly as described. Pool was amazing, spare bed could've been comfier but the living room couches were AMAZING!! Loved this place.

We really enjoyed our stay here. House was decorated nicely and very well stocked. We just wanted to spend time as a family and we were able to do that with plenty of things to do. We enjoyed the pool, zip line, sauna, and fishing. We only caught one small fish, my kids only complaint, but not the owners fault.

Wonderful family vacation!

Communication with host was excellent. This house had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. Great for kids and adults. I even caught a nice bass in the pond.

Peaceful and relaxing!

My family had an great stay and an amazing time. It feels very secluded and is very quiet. If you're looking for peace & quiet away from the crowds but still have some fun things for the kids to do, this is a great place. The house and pool were very clean and comfortable, the lake is loaded with bass, and (if you like to cook) the kitchen is very well stocked.

Wonderful

This was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, super kid friendly, and secluded. Fishing, zipline, pool, and fire pit were a plus. Erik was very responsive as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Country Getaway

Perfect country/woodland getaway! So peaceful and quiet. We loved the pool, and the fact that the trees kept it nice and shaded most of the time. Paddle-boating in the pond was fun too. The house was very clean and comfortable for everyone :)

The property was very peaceful and a nice get-away. If you love being out in nature and enjoy relaxing away from the city, I highly recommend. The house has many amenities for kids if it's rainy outside such as games, toys, crayons, and playdoh. The host was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. We would stay here again. There's also a pizza place nearby called, "Pizza done right" very good! Thank you!

Relaxation at its finest!

This property is so good! The house is immaculate, well stocked, and very functional. We had a 2 family (w/ young kids ages 7-11) extended weekend stay and didn't want to leave. The boys fished while the girls swam and lounged by the pool. The skies were beautiful. Great outdoor area for grilling. Plenty of things for the kids to do without leaving the property. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic Getaway

Our family of three had the best time at this property! The home is gorgeous and well stocked. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our daughter really enjoyed the jungle gym and running around outdoors. It’s private and peaceful. We caught tons of fish at the pond, and had an absolute blast with the pedal boat. The pool is immaculate. All in all, we would highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a low key, quiet getaway.

Perfect Getaway!

This property is probably one of the best vacation homes we've ever stayed in. We mostly made meals at the house, and it was extremely well appointed and absolutely beautiful. It had every single thing we needed, plus more. We had intended on eating out at least once a day, but we didn't want to leave the house. We had a small family reunion with my elderly parents. They went on and on about how amazing the property was. We enjoyed the pool every day. It's close enough to Cullman to eat out at a number of delicious places. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Alabama.

I can’t begin to express how nice this home is. Out of about 6 I have stayed In this is by far the best at everything. Has anything you could possibly need or want! Clean and beautiful and just as advertised! I can’t tell you how wonderful our host Erik was. I have never had a host who was so kind and understanding. My mom has brain cancer and lost her husband 2 years ago. Leaving her with the 7 children they adopted still at home. 2 teens and. 5 adult “kids” with special needs. This is a challenge for 2 young healthy people, much less one older parent with health issues. Without Erik’s kindness this trip would for sure not have been as wonderful for them as it was. They played and splashed and fished and zip lined to their hearts content. It’s very hard to travel with our group and this home was very close to where we live. Only 10 minutes away and we had no idea it was there! You would have thought we took them to Disney World! This kids were happy and had such a good time. We lost their grandmother last week and I was afraid it would ruin our trip, but it was what we needed. We were sad and talked about her, but had sweet memories and we were all together. That was the most important thing. Erik made that possible by opening his home and I’ll forever be grateful! We will come back again if at all possible next year!
