Everglades/Biscayne Visit

The house is beautiful, clean, quiet and surrounded by fruit trees. Very nicely decorated, with lots of really nice and thoughtful little things provided. The owner lives on the property and was extremely helpful. Located centrally to visit Everglades Main and Shark Valley. Biscayne is only 11 miles. And be sure to stop at Coral Castle just down the street - unique and quirky! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful location and surroundings

Hands down the best vrbo/ abnb property we've ever stayed at. Nestled in the middle of 5 acres of fruit trees, it truly felt like we were in the middle of farmland, while only being minutes away from stores. Immaculately clean and great communication with host, I would definitely come back and recommend this house to anyone. 10 out of 10.

Great location for spur of the moment

Property is as described in the listing. There was room for the bridesmaids to get ready with the make up/ hair crew. The host was gracious enough to let us have hair and make up done at the property. It is located less than 1 mile from Spur of the Moment. Property had everything you would need to cook. Gorgeous farmhouse!

This is the cleanest property and most beautiful I think I have ever stayed at!! It is so charming! We stayed here as a one night stay on the way to the keys. We enjoyed the fresh fruit for breakfast! Very authentic! Thanks for having us!

Spacious and Clean!

We stayed here one night when going to a wedding nearby. This is one of the better VRBOs I have stayed at. It was secure with gated entry, spacious and very clean! The owners were great with communication. I would not hesitate to book here again if I am in the area. 5 stars!

Welcomed retreat!

We came down for a wedding and the location turned out to be perfect. No more than a 10 minute drive in each direction. My daughter got a kick out of seeing the dogs. We'll definitely be back.

Family trip

Maria's farmhouse was a perfect getaway for our family. The house was nestled on a little fruit farm and the kids were excited to see the bananas growing just outside the home! The little fenced in yard had a little table where we enjoyed our morning coffee. There was also a little fire pit that we enjoyed having smores around with the kids while listening to the night birds and frogs. The home is located close to the Everglades, Biscayne National park, and the Keys. Robert is Here Fruit stand was a huge hit and was only 20 minutes away! Maria was helpful and kind our entire stay. The house was welcoming, cozy, and peaceful. I would highly recommend her place for a quiet retreat that is close to everything.

Hidden gem in Homestead, FL

My husband and I were in the Keys and Everglades area for our 2nd wedding anniversary. This farmhouse/cottage on a 5 acre tropical fruit farm was in a perfect location for us to explore the Everglades for several days and several interesting places in the area of Homestead & Florida City. Maria, the owner, lives next door. She provided specific instructions for directions and how to access the gated property. She also greeted us shortly after we arrived and was so welcoming. The house itself was beautifully decorated in soft colors and warm decor. The kitchen had every basic I needed to prepare simple meals once we shopped for groceries or to heat up take-out. Maria even gave us a taste of several of their tropical fruits left from the recent harvest. We would love to stay here again in the future when we are back in the area.

Hope to be back!

This place is CUTE. It was SO peaceful, SO cute, SO clean. It is THE perfect place if you are trying to get to the Everglades and Biscayne. I wish we had been there longer. Everyone who had signed the guestbook loved it, too!

Great stay in Homestead!

We were in town for a wedding at Spur of the moment ranch (less than 5 mins from this VRBO!!). Perfect location! The house was great and had everything we needed. My ONLY complaint is that the trees in front of the house and the grass needed to be trimmed and cut so that we had easy access to get in. As it was, we had to duck down to get in the front gate without hitting our heads on the branches. Otherwise, everything was great!

Stylishly decorated, wonderful, comfortable retreat

The host Maria's farmhouse is a gem! It is a quiet and welcoming retreat close to Miami and Everglades. As soon as you enter her farmhouse, you feel relaxed. The interior decor is meticulously chosen. The bed and linens are soft and cozy. The restrooms are clean and all products smell nice. The kitchen is fully stocked. The outdoor garden has many fruit trees. Maria was gracious to give us a wonderful tour of her property and we tasted many delicious fruits. We also met her horse Niku (cute!) and dogs. We will certainly return to this place for a longer duration! Thank you, Maria!
