Great location and Beautiful Property

Enjoyable stay

The property is a beautifully landscaped house in a quiet location. Nicely equipped kitchen and large living room. Both bedrooms were equally nice, with spacious bathrooms. The deck by the pond and secluded location made it a relaxing stay. We appreciated the double carport right in front of the house on the day it rained. We would definitely enjoy staying there again.

A secluded setting

The home was exactly as presented in the listing. Everything we needed was included and the communication with the owner was always quick and always ready to help. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Additionally the home is relaxing and an enjoyable setting

Family Visit

My husband and I came down to visit our kids who both attend Elon. What a beautiful location and a beautiful house. So incredibly inviting to wake up every morning and look out over the pond. We would 100% love to come back again.

Hidden Gem

It was nice meeting the Owner, Clint, who was a perfect host. Beautiful country-like setting, concealed away from nearby city life. The trail was a lot of fun to walk and our small dog took a dip in pond afterwards! Extended carport was perfect for rainy days. The huge windows let in light and a great view of nature with the pond. Large bedrooms have really comfy beds. The bathrooms are very clean. Can't wait to stay again!

Memorable experience!

Definitely a hidden gem! We were looking for a place close to Chapel Hill while still wanting more of an outdoor experience. This was perfect in the fact that my children wanted to fish the whole time. It was great to see them catch a few bass each day without dad's help. We felt perfectly at home and enjoyed Clint's hospitality! Thank you again!

Peaceful, quiet refuge!

Met owners, delightful folks! Home was clean and well equipped. My husband absolutely enjoyed catching (and releasing) several different fish! Our goldendoodle got away from us and enjoyed a swim in the pond!! We BBQ'd and enjoyed the beautiful fall scenery and weather on an absolutely great deck. You would never realize how close to everything you are if you didn't know the area. We enjoyed a very comfortable holiday!

Fantastic lodge on picturesque property!!!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lodge! Clint and Rebecca were great hosts. They were very helpful and accommodating. The lodge is extremely comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the relaxing view of the lake and the privacy the property provides. We had the pleasure of seeing a family of deer with two fawns playing almost every afternoon! The lodge truly offers the best of both worlds! It is nestled on a large private property which provides you with the feeling of being immersed in nature while being close to numerous restaurants, stores, and the expressway. We are extremely happy we chose this lodge for our stay in Burlington. We would recommend this lodge to other visitors! Thank you Clint and Rebecca! We would definitely book this lodge if we visit Burlington again!

Excellent experience!

This was our first experience using VRBO and we couldn’t be happier. The house was very clean. The property was quiet, scenic, and relaxing. The owners responded to our questions very quickly and were very kind. If we visit NC again, we would be very excited to return to the lodge!

Great family visit!

We have family in Elon so this location is perfect. Clint was very responsive and great to work with. The house is very clean and comfortable. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back, and will always look to see if this property is available for future visits.

Great get away

The house is set in a very quiet, peaceful bamboo forest with a small pond, but located within minutes to stores and restaurants. Great getaway, but close to all the amenities!

Beautiful escape

Awesome weekend on the lake front property. So beautiful and relaxing we spent most of the weekend on the deck playing games. Would recommend!

Secluded yet close to conveniences

Perfect hideaway!

Our family group loved staying here. The open floor plan made it easy to feel connected. The furniture was all comfortable. Everyone enjoyed fishing in the pond. There are other properties around the pond but they are wonderfully spaced and we still ended up feeling like we had complete privacy. We spent 90% of our time on the deck, which was absolutely lovely, with not one mosquito. The home, the deck, and surrounding property were all immaculately clean. All of that, and we were still very close to plenty of restaurants, shopping, etc. If you're looking for a laid back vacation to connect with family and/or friends (where you ACTUALLY get to rest and relax) this is the spot!

Private Retreat just off I-40

What a great find. The house easily hosted a graduation party for about 20. Quiet, private setting, fully equipped kitchen, entertainment system, decorative lighting and a huge furnished deck with fireplace. Plenty of good spots for family photos.
