House is an old mill house. The furnishings were old time furntiure. Plank Floors. But modern conveniences. Loved it.

We stayed in this great house for one night. The home was very clean and updated. Communication was extremely easy. Coffee bar for the morning was great. I loved the availability of real creamer, not powder!Would stay again.

Great place to stay

The property is quaint and historical. It is comfortable and clean and easy to access. We have stayed here twice and it didn’t disappoint.

A great spot for a weekend getaway!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this location. It is not far from any location you'd want to visit in the triad area. It is the perfect size for a couple, and if we return would have no issue staying here again!

This is our third time staying at the mill house. We occasionally book the property for its comfort and quiet whenever we have tickets to a concert at The Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw, which is a short 15-minute drive from the house. And since there is a fenced-in yard at the property, we are able to take our pups along with us to enjoy our time even more. They love the spacious yard for frisbee sessions! The host, Mike, has always made our stay hospitable and communicates on a frequent basis to ensure our stay is perfect. If you need a break from the noise of the everyday -- this is a great place to go!

This little historic home was so comfortable and perfect for our needs. All the extra amenities truly made us feel as welcome as a treasured friend.

Comfortable and convenient

Love the location due to its proximity to my friends in the triad and triangle, large comfortable bed, spacious kitchen with supplies, and fenced yard for dogs.

Wonderful stay!

We had a great time. Very cute house with everything we needed. Great kitchen, well stocked, and lots of little touches to make our stay comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood. We were attending a wedding nearby and this was just the homebase we needed.

Lovely Quiet Getaway

Beautiful little historic house that’s obviously been well loved and cared for. Clean as a whistle, and just as described in the listing. VERY pet friendly - our dog was super comfortable. The whole process was easy, and the owner was great with communication. Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful place

Very clean, stocked very well and extremely pet friendly. Our fur baby loved the fenced in yard, He never gets to be off leash even at home. Manager was very responsive and flexible. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Very clean and well stocked with supplies!

The property was very clean and well stocked with toiletry and spices. The special pieces of furniture they left from the original home was an excellent touch. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

Lovely and charming home!

We found the property to be exceptionally clean and inviting. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and was perfect for our stay. My husband, unfortunately, wasn’t feeling well, so I did some cooking and we stayed in one night. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed a movie evening at home.

Great cottage

We loved that the cottage was decorated for Christmas! It had every amenity we needed. Even charging station by each night stand. The weather was abnormally cold and the cottage was always warm and toasty. Easy instructions for checkout and checkin. Loved all the modern features. The fridge was stocked with water, local coffee and the list goes on! A wonderful winter escape in the country. It was perfect! TY!

Cute little house with a lot of character

Stayed 2 nights with the dogs. The place is great. Lots of small touches to make you feel at home. Yard is fenced, but if you have small dogs, best to stay with them or bring long leads, they could sneek out in a couple of spots. One small glitch, there was no hot water in the house (reason for 4 stars instead of 5). But the owner was very responsive to the problem. I'd book this house again if I come back to the area.

Thanks. I will check out the fence. We have a 7 lb Yorkie that likes to escape and I used him as a test but he could not find a way out. I am having the hot water issue checked out Tuesday.
