The Space
The apartment spans the 1st and 2nd floors of a traditional Old Village townhouse and offers approx. 100m² of private, fully air-conditioned space.
First floor:
• 2 twin bedrooms with quality mattresses, wardrobes, shutters, air conditioning, and French doors opening to a shaded balcony
• One twin includes a retractable bed and workspace desk, ideal for remote working or children
• A shared bathroom with bath/shower and WC
• A master bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, fitted wardrobe, and large windows
Second floor:
• A bright open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area with access to a second dining terrace
• Kitchen includes oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine
• Living area features an LED TV with 100+ channels including Sky Sports & BT Sports, Marshall sound system (Bluetooth), fast WiFi, and full air conditioning

Guest Access
This is a fully independent, self-catering apartment. Aside from a few locked storage cupboards, guests have exclusive access to the entire space.

Tourist Tax (Required by Law)
As of November 1, 2024, the city of Loulé (including Vilamoura) requires a tourist tax for guests aged 16+:
• April 1 – Oct 31: €2 per person, per night (first 5 nights)
• Nov 1 – Mar 31: €1 per person, per night (first 5 nights)
As we offer self-check-in, we’ll request payment via the VRBO platform prior to arrival.
Other Notes:
• The apartment is accessed by stairs and spans three floors (including rooftop), so may not suit those with limited mobility
• Stair gates are fitted inside for families with small children
• In winter, some Old Village restaurants/bars close, but the supermarket remains open year-round and the Vilamoura Marina stays vibrant
• Light maintenance or renovation work is permitted in Old Village between November and March, which may cause occasional daytime noise

Old Village is a pedestrianized, family-friendly resort designed in classical Portuguese style, with cobbled streets, colorful townhouses, and manicured gardens. It offers a safe, relaxed atmosphere with 24/7 security and CCTV, ideal for both families and golf lovers.
