Welcome to Stokes Casa, one of the best places to stay in Bear Lake! Located in the Reserve, you'll have access to some awesome amenities, including a private beach, clubhouse, pool, hot tub, basketball court, tennis court & pickleball court.You will find yourself only a few miles from Fish Haven Canyon, with hundreds of miles of trails for ATVs, hikers or bikers. Beaver Mountain Ski Resort is a quick 25 minute drive away. No matter what time of year you come, and no matter who is in your group, we know that you'll love everything about your vacation in this home!

Stokes Casa is set up perfectly for accommodating large groups. With 3 large gathering areas, 9 large bedrooms, a fully stoked kitchen and plenty of dining space, we are sure that you'll love your stay in our home. For your ease in planning, here is the layout of each bedroom:

We had a family reunion with 34 people and there were plenty of beds!! The house was clean and had plenty of space for kids and adults. The only complaint we have was there was a broken shower/bathtub upstairs that we didn’t know about until we arrived and so that made things a little tricky for showers between six families. That left us with 4 showers to share. Also only having one fridge for that giant house and that many people was a little tricky but we managed with extra coolers. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels. Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved the views from the house!

Stokes Casa is gorgeous and spacious. The property is convenient and luxurious. Our family had a great time. Our first priority was for each of our children and their spouses to have a room and a bathroom, which is why we went to the expense of choosing this large home. However, just before we checked in that day, we were told that one of the large showers upstairs would not be available for use. Also, upon use, two bathtubs would not drain. My son took out both drains and unclogged them (the pictures we took show a large build up of hair in both tubs). They now work great! Lastly, the cleaners did a great job with the bedrooms and kitchen, but the floors were all unattended. Upon arrival, we needed to sweep the floors and vacuum the carpeting; the floors were too bad to ignore. Lastly, I needed to contact the property manager for the codes to enter; I had assumed he would contact me that day. In the end, we had a great time and appreciate the use of the home.

Nice and big - just what we needed

This was for an annual reunion with three generations plus some long time friends. 23 total. The rooms worked well for us, Especially the large upstairs room where most of the cousins stayed. The clubhouse and pool are close by. We also visited Reserve Beach (kayaking ), North Beach, Bloomington creek, Paris museum, and Minnetonka cave, plus hikes around the neighborhood.

House Of Payne 2024

Great location, beautiful home with plenty of space for our 16 people. Fantastic view of Bear Lake with HOA private beach access. The HOA amenities are top notch with pool, hot tub, pickle ball court. All very clean and well maintained:)

Great Family Reunion House

We enjoyed out stay at the Stokes Casa and we plan to return in the future. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and serving our group of 38 people. The only thing we lacked was an electric griddle and a a second refrigerator. The girls enjoyed the bunk room and the boys took over the basement gathering room. We played corn hole on the lawn. We were please to find the parking area was paved (unpaved in the photos) though a bit tight for the number of cars we had. The host quickly responded to our needs. The swimming pools and pickleball court were a hit with all. This year the water was high so we were not able to use the private beach.

Great family reunion location

Our large family stayed here the last four nights. Most of us are adults but we still have several children of all ages.We liked the closeness to North Beach. We also used the private beach one day. We spend most of the day at the beach.The beds are beyond comfortable. I joked that I wanted to steal the mattress and take it home. (Caution: if you are old and short the master bed is very high. We took the other main floor room.) Even with a large group we never ran out of clean towels.The view of the lake from the deck is lovely.There are lots of couches and some folding chairs besides the dining table. If you are big board game players, take a folding table. We used ours nightly. We enjoyed our stay very much and wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Family Reunion

We had 34 people ranging in age from 89 years old to 20 months stay at this property. The house worked perfectly for our group. In the evening after boating and dinner we had people playing cards upstairs, people visiting in the living room on the main floor, people watching a movie downstairs, and people playing Cornhole in the back yard. The driveway has been improved over what is shown in the photo, being paved all the way up to the street and we were able to park 10 cars in the driveway. Initially the upstairs was too warm and we were locked out of the thermostat but when we called I think a guy named Matt solved the problem quickly. The pool and the sports court was great. The private beach was OK but we spent most of our time up at North beach state park which was just a few miles up the road.Overall, very satisfied with this property and wouldn't hesitate staying there again.
