We enjoyed our one night stay. It was clean and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable that we’ve ever slept in. We were able to make dinner and breakfast in the small kitchen area. We enjoyed our walks with the dogs.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. They had everything we needed for our stay and it was really fun to be able to bring our dog along with us.

Property was great!! My wife and I visited the area to check out Shawnee Forest and other surrounding areas. This cabin was very well located for us. The interior was fantastic. Anything you may have wanted was there. The bed was super comfy and clean. The bathroom was very well stocked and very clean as well. We would 100% stay here again if we come back through the area. Thanks for a great stay!!

Thank you for taking the time to share this, and I'm sorry your family's stay didn't meet the standard we hold ourselves to. The issues you raised were addressed as soon as they came to our attention- reinstalled a new smoke alarm and replaced the storage tote with the exposed staples. Your feedback is a useful reminder of why our between-stay inspection process matters, and we've tightened our checklist / added these items to our turnover walkthrough- including inspecting the Minisplit to catch condensation line clogs before they happen. We appreciate the opportunity to make it right and hope to welcome you back.

This was perfect for a short stay while visiting family. Very cute cabin with everything we needed. Large yard around cabin was also wonderful for walking our dog. Nice fire pit area also. Very private. Hope to come back again. Always lots to do at the lake

Convenient location comfortable living space

The cabin was nice and very conveniently located for my stay. I would recommend to anyone visiting the Lake Egypt/Marion Illinois area for a short stay.

Small Cabin but luxurious

After a long drive, it was especially nice to get to this small awesome cabin. We were pleasantly surprised with the luxuriousness on the inside. We stayed one night and it was perfect!

As good as advertised

Nice quiet place to stay for our adventures. One of the two HVAC units went out and the owner got us a supplemental heater right away to ensure our comfort.
