Nestled in the woods on the Southern Illinois Wine Trail you will find your home away from home. Our fully furnished homes come with a large covered porch, with a lit up walk way leading you to the fire pit area and a hot tub . Both our cabins come with two bedrooms (queen beds in both), full bath, and a beautiful open kitchen and dining area. Our secluded cabins are a great place to escape, enjoy tasting local wines, dinner out at unique local restaurants or maybe stay in and relax next to the fire place with a good book or movie.

We love this spot!

This is the second time staying here, and we will keep coming back for years. Love the remote location in the woods and the hot tub! Has been a perfect anniversary get away for us.

Great for a Quiet Getaway!

The cabin was very clean and cozy. The decor was perfect. The layout was nice, especially the open floor plan. The hot tub is spectacular - lights, lots of modes, great temperature control. No WiFi, which we knew in advance, and used our Hotspots on our phone. The TV was listed as a Smart TV, so we thought we could watch Netflix and other apps that we have subscriptions to at home, but the stations were through an antenna and very limited and the reception was spotty. Not a deal breaker for us but might be something others would want to know. We had neighbors at the nearby cabin, but we never heard them, and we didn't think the cabins were too close together at all. The cabin and outdoor spaces felt very private. The lighting inside and outside of the cabin was great! Lots of choices to set whatever kind of ambiance you are wanting. We stayed three nights during the week of Thanksgiving. It was great!

This cabin was exactly what was advertised and what we were looking for. Exceptionally clean and cozy. Really liked the layout of the cabin. Like the title says it was “perfect”.

Relaxing stay

I stayed here two nights with my daughter and my aunt. The first thing I will say is we felt very safe at this location being three women traveling together. The cabin is tucked back in nature but not too far from anything you might want to do. My daughter is a student at SIU and we chose to stay here over a hotel for a new experience. It is about 25 minutes from campus and well worth the drive. The cabin itself was clean and just perfect for a weekend away. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We soaked in the hot tub and enjoyed the fire pit. Make sure you bring your own wood or purchase some at a local gas station before you come. We are already making our plans to stay here again! Highly recommend!

Cozy cabin

The cabin was the perfect retreat for our weekend getaway. It is cozy and roomy. There is plenty of space for 2 couples to stay. The hot tub is really nice too!

Nice relaxing weekend

Had a 3 day a weekend away, this cabin was the answer, very clean, peaceful, hot tub was perfect. Winery a quick drive up the road. Will be coming back soon.

Lovely cabin in the woods

I enjoyed the setting…it was peaceful and secluded but also reasonably close to many things to do. Hot tub was excellent!

Very secluded, of the other cabin is unoccupied

Very clean and a great location to relax. There is another cabin close by, but the cabins are setup that you don't see it often. We could hear the other cabin playing music outside, but no other major disturbances

50th Birthday Getaway!!

Second Visit!

We love this place. Spent my birthday here with my husband and it was perfect. Loved it so much that we decided to come back with our 2 young children a few months later. Another great time! We will be back.

Lazy anniversary weekend getaway

My wife and I had a great weekend just relaxing and enjoying this little getaway location. The cabin was clean and every in good shape and the hot tub was a great bonus feature.
