Nestled between the hills of the Ozarks, adjacent to the J.T. Nickel Preserve and adjacent to a freshwater spring, this quiet home away from home is private with little to no traffic on a newly paved road. Located 2.5 miles from Illinois river access to kayak, swim and fish. Whether you're floating the Illinois river, running the Pumpkin Holler Hunnerd, biking the back roads of northeast Oklahoma, taking in the fall foliage colors or hunting white tail deer, this year-round location is for you.

Great Accommodations!

Clean and unique property in a nice neighborhood not far from all the river resorts. Property manager communicated with us throughout the entire process from when we booked it to even after we checked out. We actually came over-prepared for our trip because so many things we thought to bring were already provided there for us. I would definitely book this place again.

Memorial Weekend

We had an amazing peaceful stay. We enjoyed how everything from the covered porch and the covered back patio. The fire pit was relaxing and listening to the little creek was so serene. We appreciated the little touches, the little snacks, bottles of water and the use of the grill to cook on. The property manager was absolutely amazing when my friends got turned around, she went above and beyond helping them find the residence.

Cozy house close to river floats

Great clean house. Short drive to river floats. Well manicured lawn where we could enjoy fire pit. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Enjoyed our stay with friends.

Annual Birthday Float Trip

We booked here because none of the cabins we normally stay at were available and it ended up being the best place we have stayed on our annual river trip. The house was great and even better than pictured. Everything we needed was available and the owners go above and beyond doing little things that make it special like the smores, snacks, bottles of water in the rooms and many other little things. The location is so peaceful and it is minutes from Lazy River Floats which we tried for the first time also and was a great place to float with. We woud definitely stay here again. Best trip so far.

Fantastic River Float Getaway

The house was awesome with ample space and amenities for more than just us three. The hosts did an awesome job including a S’Mores station, coffee bar, wood for the fire pit, and an awesome guide for the house, places to eat and activities nearby. We all agreed we would absolutely stay here again next time.

Native Springs

Loved our stay!!! Home was clean, comfortable, and we loved our time there. If there was a negative, it was that there was only one TV. However, we were having too good of a time to even turn it on. Lol. Would absolutely book this place again.
