Cabin was very clean and many lite necessities were available in the cabin. The decor of the cabin was amazing. The owners incorporated a lot of detail into creating an old cabin look and feel. Wildlife sightings from the back deck were abundant including two bald eagles. We’ll be staying again.

I cannot say enough about our stay. We had everything we needed. The space was more than enough. The view was breathtaking. The host was more than accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing location

Property was clean, communication was great. There is an amazing view of the river with river access. Property is very safe and behind a locked gate. Great location for a personal or business stay.

Beautiful property! Communication was clear and all responses were quick. Very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Eagle Cabin

We enjoyed our stay so much! It was clean, easy to get in and out, amenities were excellent as well as the views! The host was super nice, easy to to communicate with, and all the instructions were posted for easy access. We loved this property and it is worth 5-Stars!

The property was better than we could have hoped for. We brought our dog and she loved being able to go on long walks just like she does at home. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds where SUPER comfy, and the water pressure was amazing after a long day on the river. 10/10 and we will be coming back!

Awesome Illinois river cabin!

This cabin was great! The back porch overlooks the river below and beautiful scenery on the other side. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the main living room was a great place to just chill for a while. Was only here for one night but it would be a great place to spend several days. driaway

Beautiful Property!

This home was perfect. Tucked away in a secluded wooded area, it felt like a true escape. A horse roamed freely on the property, adding a charming touch to the serene atmosphere. The spacious rooms were beautifully decorated, and the back patio offered stunning views of the river, complete with rocking chairs that made for peaceful moments. Our host was incredibly helpful, guiding us through any mishaps and answering all our questions. We can’t wait to return!

Perfection

This property is exaclty as advertised. The decor is awesome as a cabin should be with all the old items, it was fun to look at everything at let it take you back. As adults, we played with it all. The cleanliness is top notch and the talking with the host was easy and convienent. The neighborhood and environment felt safe and protected. Worth every penny. Would love to stay here agian soon.

Wow!!!! This place has everything you need. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner there and the ONLY thing it didn’t have was a cheese grater. IT HAD EVERYTHING! The rooms were comfy. It was super spacious! The baby loved the play things! Papa John loved the old nostalgia! We all loved the hiking trail! The shower was hot! They supplied shampoo and conditioner. There were plenty of towels! Love love We are already planning next year’s Fall trip. FYI: The cabin next to it is available also if you need more room!!

We absolutely love this place!! The view is absolutely worth the price alone. The only downer is the hike to/from the water. The hike there is ok, its back that gets you. Im definitely bringing my family back here. Sitting on the back porch we were able to watch deer and wild turkeys all 3 days. Wonderful, peaceful. The host was very helpful and quickly answered any questions I had. If you want a relaxing trip, close to the river, this is the place!!
