Marisol was a phenomenal host Check-in was extremely smooth. The location of the house in relation to all the places we wanted to visit was perfect. The Pool was absolutely beautiful. There were really two issues that we had. Number one was the cockroaches. We did let Marisol know and sent her pictures. Our arrival was Saturday. We saw them on Sunday and Monday and she sent in a pest control on Tuesday when we left for the day. After that, we did see a couple on Friday but it was mentioned to us that you may see some even after pest control comes in until they’re all dead. The other issue that we had was the barking dogs all day and all night. Not much she can do about that as it was the Neighbor’s dogs. We had a late flight on Saturday and she was gracious enough to allow us to leave late since no one was coming in that day Marisol is a phenomenal host. The AC in the rooms were a great relief from the humidity that we felt. The Pool and the breeze from the ocean was also a great relief and we absolutely loved the outdoor shower.

Thank you, Mary, for your thoughtful review and for your kind words about our home, location, pool, and my responsiveness as a host. I’m so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay. I also wanted to provide some context regarding the insects you encountered. The neighboring property had been vacant and overgrown for quite some time, and during your stay, extensive clearing and cleanup work was being done there. That activity appeared to disturb insects in the surrounding area, and unfortunately, some made their way onto our property. As soon as you brought it to my attention, I immediately had our pest-control company come out and treat the property as an added precaution. This was an unusual situation and is not a typical issue at our home. I’m also sorry that the neighboring dogs disturbed you. Unfortunately, they are outside of our control, but I completely understand how frustrating that can be. It was a pleasure hosting your family, and I’m happy we were able to accommodate your late departure. Thank you again for staying with us and for taking the time to share your experience.

Girls Getaway

The house was plenty large and comfortable for five. The pool was relaxing and inviting. We had a great time catching up with our lives, laughing and bonding. The owner was available and responded right away to our concerns and questions. A great experience.

PR Family Vacation

Wonderful place. Nice and clean. It truly is an oasis with the pool out back. Definitely got the Puerto Rican experience all up to the roosters in the morning. 😂 We loved it and had a blast. Highly recommended and we'll be coming back. 🇵🇷😊🤗

Spacious house, great amenities

Marisol was an attentive host and the house was very clean. I have rarely been to a house that is so well furnished in terms of kitchen tools (yes there is a blender and a microwave and multiple pots/pans), household items etc. The pool was awesome. Having a washer/dryer is wonderful, and also the beach chairs/umbrella! The room set up worked well also since it allowed our kids to sleep nearby. Groceries close by as well as several restaurants is a plus. Cons: nocturnal noise (roosters, dogs, neighbors - thank you Marisol for the ear plugs sadly I am a light sleeper). Driving to San Juan involves traffic - a good 30-40mins but San Juan seems to have a lot of traffic everywhere.

The house was great and is in a quiet area. We did walk to dinner a few times and ordered door dash. Within 30 minutes of Old San Juan, about an hour from Luquillo Beach and 90 minutes from El Yunque National Park….easy drives and very accessible. The pool was great and the house is well maintained. The host was excellent and very communicative. Definitely recommend!
