Mid-Century Modern - 3600sqft - 1 Mile to CBD Historic Surroundings, Walk to CBD

This AMAZING property was built in the 1950's in the Old Dauphin Way Historic District. The private brick driveway has parking for 6-7 cars. The property is a 3 bed, 3 bath, 3600 square foot suite. This is the perfect space for families, large groups and even those traveling for work. Our beautiful home is equipped with all the modern amenities to make your stay enjoyable. Highspeed WiFi, USB charging outlets and large comfortable furniture are just a few thing you will enjoy with each stay. When the weather is nice there is a back patio setup with tables and chairs and a Gas BBQ Grill. There is also a secondary patio upstairs with a wraparound portch, seating, gas fire pit and a large screen TV. You'll fall asleep soundly after a full day of activities in our uber comfortable beds.The interior has been beautifully renovated and contains all the modern amenities for families, large groups and even those traveling for work.

We are conveniently located walking distance to Starbucks, a grocery store and Downtown. You will just love the beautiful historic nature of our home and neighborhood.

Holiday Stay

My son and his family came in town for the Christmas holiday. I wanted them to have their own personal space, and The Nest was the perfect spot for them. I truly enjoyed our stay The Nest. Everything was wonderful. Edward the host was very quickly to respond back to us when we had an issue with the lock. I can't think of anything negative to say about The Nest. I most definitely will be using again.

Most well appointed VRBO ever

Great location except fire station : doors down. Kitchen is amazing and has everything. Stairs may be difficult for older guests. Owner is VERY nice and responsive. We will rent again.

USA graduation

This property is very spacious and well appointed. The hosts through of every detail. We visited in the month of December and I was delighted to find a lot and decorated Christmas tree in the main living space upon arrival! The pantry is well stocked and it’s clear that every guest who stays here leaves a little something behind for the next family. Plenty of toys for the kids. There’s an Xbox in the kids room too. All in all a great trip and stay.

Perfect place for family

We had an incredible stay here being in town for a family wedding. It had everything we could possibly need. The entire house is beautiful and all the amenities high end. We absolutely loved the second floor deck with the tv and the fire pit. So relaxing!

Beautiful

The layout of this property is amazing...clean and well equipped. It was the perfect set up for a girls' reunion weekend and all who saw it loved it. Conveniently located near a grocery store, starbucks, and cute eateries.

Great Stay

Had All the amenities we needed and was extremely comfortable. Very well accessorized kitchen for cooking and the outdoor grill was great - a little dirty but cleaned up nicely. The location was great - but government street was a little noisy but did not affect my sleep. Beds were awesome!

The porch of my dreams

We stayed here for tennis sectionals. This house is in a great location and the amenities were thoughtful. Great water pressure! Very clean. The porch was a perfect hangout spot for our team.

Wonderful place and host

Southern Hospitality with Style and Charm

Our Family gathered for a wedding on the Eastern Shore in Daphne. This Downtown location is convenient to everything from the airport to Gulf Shores. The real charm is Government Street, Saint Mary's. Mansions, Shopping and quiet tree lined streets. Tbe home has everything, just pack your clothes and the kids. Spacious rooms fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare for an evening meal or a banquet. The only thing missing is a Grand Piano but there is enough room. Home away from Home 🏡 Thank you

Beautiful property - Perfect for family gathering

We visited Mobile for a college graduation. Our party was multi-generational (teen, parents, aunt, grandfather). It exceeded our expectations. So many perfect touches ... high quality linens, towels, hair dryers ... tons of space ... great configuration of bedrooms - each one had it's own bathroom. Kitchen was amazing and everything was high quality. Knives ... pots and pans ... silverware EVERYTHING was quality. Spice cabinet fully stocked. Foil, wrap, tons of food storage containers! They even left us a few beers in the fridge! I can't say enough about the great communication with the owner and how welcome they made us feel. The outdoor space is terrific - complete with an TV outside and ceiling fan for those warm nights! We will definitely book this property again!

Well stocked!

I echo all the other positive reviews, but specifically I appreciate how well appointed and stocked this unit is. So many VRBOs skimp on consumables and silly things like soap, paper towels, detergent, etc. But this had more than enough for us. And the kitchen has condiments, spices, dry goods, plenty of utensils, and quality cookware. Awesome hosts and a wonderful spot for our trip! We will be back.

Great place to stay!

The Nest is better than advertised. It is a beautiful home and so very clean and organized. The location is very convenient. We stayed here for our son’s wedding in Mobile. The outdoor porch is amazing. I can’t say enough great things. The hosts are wonderful.

Excellent Place to Stay!

The Nest was the perfect spot for us to work remotely and relax while our daughter attended a conference in Mobile. The location is great - close to downtown and many restaurants. The home is very spacious and equipped for everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor sitting area and the very comfortable beds. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. Will stay here again if we are back in the area.

Mobile weekend
