Privacy Note: From Early-October to late April, Jane and I reside in the upper portion of the cabin with our two little dogs. The lower portion of the cabin, is the vacation rental and is completely separate from the upper level where Jane and I live. During that time we are available on-site for any assistance or inquiries you may have, dining , hiking, fishing spots, etc. For the rest of the year, we are in Montana. Remember, plans can change, especially if fire season gets smoky, we may return sooner than planned. But rest assured, your comfort and privacy are our top priorities. Book your escape today and enjoy your stay in this beautiful log cabin!

Please Note: The rental unit does not have a conventional oven, but it does have a convection micro wave, griddle and BBQ grill with a side burner. But don't worry the Iron Bride Cafe and Toccoa River Restaurant are just minutes away.. After all you are on vacation.

Please bag all garbage and place it in the orange container, in the drive way. The trash man will not take un bagged garbage.

If you would put the laundry in the washer and start it, the lady that does the house keeping, would sure appreciate it. Thanks!

If you use the corn hole boards, please put the bags back in the containers. Squirrels will chew though them to get the corn.

Cozy Little Cabin

Great little area, great little cabin. We enjoyed the area so much, relaxed on the hot tub and met a very nice couple that were the Hosts of this little downstairs Bungalow. It fit our needs perfectly. I would recommend planning to eat out , not really space to cook inside, however we like trying the local restaurants hence the part of our stay away planning! I'll give the 5 stars , the cabin was very clean and decorated beautifully.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay was wonderful there is a nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the river, there are trails to go walk and cute little store to buy your drinks and snacks that also doubles as a little restaurant the cabin was so cute and cozy the hot tub was of course our favorite part it’s clean they had things there you might need and forgot it was great I loved it I’m definitely going back soon

Wonderful and cozy weekend escape

This was a perfect place for a cozy weekend retreat — close to easy scenic hikes, not far from downtown Blue Ridge, and there is great breakfast at the cafe just down the hill. It’s obvious how much care was put into making this a great place to stay!

Sweet Hosts

We loved our stayed. The cabin was so clean and the heaters were a must! We used the hot tub when our baby went down for bed and it was clean and nice in the freezing cold. The location was fantastic, we loved the restaurant and general store. We went fishing on the river but didn’t catch anything but the view is stunning.The hosts are incredibly sweet and helpful! They communicated with us whenever we had questions and gave us fishing tips. It was the perfect first family vacation! The only qualm we had was we could hear them moving around upstairs in their cabin! But that was a little thing compared to all the good!

Amazing, Cozy Spot!

My husband & I enjoyed our weekend stay! The place has a cozy cabin feel, & has its own private hot tub which we enjoyed each night! It’s so conveniently located by the river, a little general store/cafe, a cute restaurant and about a 15 minute drive into downtown Blue Ridge!The host is spectacular!!I would recommend this to anyone looking for a little cozy getaway!

Scott was a very welcoming & accommodating host!

Highly recommend this cabin, tucked nicely into a scenic bend on the Toccoa River! Scott really went the extra mile to make sure we were given both comforts & privacy… as well as fishing advice when we needed it! The cabin came equipped with a pre-heated hot tub, fire pit, cornhole boards, ample space to unwind, and other random amenities like internet and There was also tubing, a merchandise/restaurant store nearby, and a dock spot for photos just a short walk from the cabin.

Just What We Needed

My wife and I came to Blue Ridge to see the fall colors. We wanted a small, cozy place in the Aska area. This was perfect. Our host, Scott, was very friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful Cabin !!

What a wonderful cabin for the perfect get away to the mountains of North Georgia. The cabin is spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable . Loved the clawfoot tub for a nice soak to ease the sore muscles from walking around. We visited Blue Ridge and Helen which were within an hour away., both great small towns. Love, love, love that the small things like coffee and filters., shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The hot tub was a must for us and we enjoyed it. Thank you for everything. We hope to return again soon !!!

Misty Mountain Weekend

Great location a little distance from Blue Ridge but close enough to be convenient. Great little cabin with all amenities provided. The whole area is awesome for outdoor activities as well as local shopping and strolling.

Great getaway spot.

Me and a couple of friends were in Blue Ridge to do some trout fishing and needed a place to sleep. This was a great spot. Clean and affordable. Shirt walk to the Tacoa headwaters. About a 15 minute drive to the tailwaters. Downtown Blue Ridge is about a 15 minute drive. There are a couple local restaurants within walking distance

The one picture that I saw when I booked this reservation. Show the cabin on the river. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't. It was across the street And the grill that didn't work. He said we can use the other grill but it was in bad shape other than that, it was a nice vacation.

An anniversary getaway. We wanted to bring our teen girls with us to Blue Ridge, where we could have big fun and relax too. We did the high ropes course with Blue Ridge Adventures, went for a hike, relaxed on a tube floating down the river

Natural Beauty: Just upstream, the Sandy Bottoms recreation area provides excellent fishing access along the river.
Proximity to Blue Ridge: The cabin is only 9 miles away from downtown Blue Ridge.
Outdoor Adventures: Additionally, our cabin is conveniently close to two fantastic trails:
Falls Trail: This scenic trail leads you through lush forests, past cascading waterfalls, and offers breathtaking views.
Swinging Bridge Trail: Experience the thrill of crossing the Toccoa River on the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi River. The serene surroundings en route to the bridge make it a delightful hike..
And when we’re not exploring, the Toccoa River Restaurant, just a few minutes away, remains our go-to spot for enjoying craft beers during Happy Hour."
